ဆာလံ 127

1 ၁ အ​ကယ်​၍​ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​သည်​အိမ်​ကို ဆောက်​တော်​မ​မူ​လျှင်​ဆောက်​လုပ်​သူ​တို့​၏ လုပ်​ဆောင်​ချက်​သည်​အ​ချည်း​နှီး​ဖြစ်​၏။ ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​သည်​မြို့​ကို​စောင့်​တော်​မ​မူ လျှင် ကင်း​စောင့်​တို့​၏​စောင့်​ကြပ်​မှု​သည်​အ​ချည်း​နှီး​ဖြစ်​၏။

A song of ascents. Of Solomon. Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman wakes in vain.

2 ၂ အ​သက်​မွေး​ဝမ်း​ကျောင်း​မှု​အ​တွက် နံ​နက်​စော​စော​ထ​၍ ညဥ့်​နက်​သည်​တိုင်​အောင်​ပင်​ပန်း​စွာ​အ​လုပ် လုပ်​ရ​ခြင်း​သည်​အ​ချည်း​နှီး​ဖြစ်​၏။ အ​ဘယ်​ကြောင့်​ဆို​သော်​ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​သည် မိ​မိ​ချစ်​တော်​မူ​သော​သူ​တို့​အိပ်​စက်​နေ​စဉ် သူ​တို့​လို​အပ်​သော​အ​ရာ​များ​ကို ပေး​သ​နား​တော်​မူ​သော​ကြောင့်​ဖြစ်​၏။

In vain you rise early, and finish so late, and so eat sorrow’s bread; for he cares for his loved ones in their sleep.

3 ၃ သား​သ​မီး​များ​သည်​ထာ​ဝ​ရ​ဘု​ရား​ပေး သော ဆု​လာဘ်​များ​ဖြစ်​ကြ​၏။ သူ​တို့​သည်​ကောင်း​ချီး​မင်္ဂလာ​အ​စစ်​အ​မှန် ဖြစ်​ကြ​၏။

Children are a gift of the Lord, the fruit of the womb, a reward.

4 ၄ အ​သက်​ပျို​ရွယ်​စဉ်​အ​ခါ​ရ​သော သား​သ​မီး​များ​သည်​စစ်​သူ​ရဲ​၏​လက်​တွင်​ရှိ​သော မြား​များ​နှင့်​တူ​ကြ​၏။

Like arrows wielded by warriors, are the children of youth.

5 ၅ ဤ​သို့​သော​မြား​မြောက်​မြား​စွာ​ရှိ​သူ​သည် မင်္ဂလာ​ရှိ​၏။ သူ​သည်​ရန်​သူ​များ​နှင့်​တ​ရား​ရုံး​တွင် ရင်​ဆိုင်​သော​အ​ခါ​အ​ရေး​ရှုံး​နိမ့်​လိမ့်​မည် မ​ဟုတ်။

Happy the man who has filled his quiver full of them. He will not be ashamed when he speaks with enemies in the gate.
