A Song of Degrees. I lifted up mine eyes to the mountains, whence my help shall come.
2 ၂ ကောင်းကင်နှင့်ကမ္ဘာမြေကြီးကိုဖန်ဆင်းတော် မူသော ထာဝရဘုရား၏ထံတော်မှရပါလိမ့်မည်။
My help [shall come] from the Lord, who made the heaven and the earth.
3 ၃ ကိုယ်တော်သည်သင့်အားခြေချော်၍ လဲစေတော်မူလိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်။ သင့်ကိုကွယ်ကာစောင့်ရှောက်တော်မူသော အရှင်သည်အိပ်တော်မမူ။
Let not your foot be moved; and let not your keeper slumber.
4 ၄ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့ကိုကွယ်ကာ စောင့်ရှောက်တော်မူသောအရှင်သည် အဘယ်အခါ၌မျှငိုက်မျည်းအိပ်စက်ခြင်း ရှိတော်မမူ။
Behold, he that keeps Israel shall not slumber nor sleep.
5 ၅ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်သင့်ကိုစောင့်ကြပ်တော် မူလိမ့်မည်။ ကိုယ်တော်သည်သင်၏အနီးတွင်ရှိသောသင့်ကို ကွယ်ကာရာအရိပ်ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။
The Lord shall keep you: the Lord is your shelter upon your right hand.
6 ၆ နေသည်နေ့အခါ၌လည်းကောင်း၊ လသည်ညဥ့်အခါ၌လည်းကောင်း သင့်ကိုဥပဒ်ပေးလိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်။
The sun shall not burn you by day, neither the moon by night.
7 ၇ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်ဘေးအန္တရာယ်အပေါင်း တို့မှ သင့်ကိုကွယ်ကာတော်မူလိမ့်မည်။ သင့်ကိုဘေးမဲ့လုံခြုံစွာထားတော်မူလိမ့်မည်။
May the Lord preserve you from all evil: the Lord shall keep your soul.
8 ၈ ကိုယ်တော်သည်ယခုမှစ၍ကာလအစဉ်မပြတ် သင်သွားလာလေရာတို့၌သင့်အား ကွယ်ကာစောင့်ရှောက်တော်မူလိမ့်မည်။
The Lord shall keep your coming in, and your going out, from henceforth and even for ever.
