1 ၁ ယာကုပ်၏သားမြေးဣသရေလအမျိုးသား တို့သည် နိုင်ငံရပ်ခြားအီဂျစ်ပြည်မှထွက်သွားကြ သောအခါ၊
When Israel went out of Egypt, and the house of Iaakob from the barbarous people,
2 ၂ ယုဒအမျိုးသားတို့သည်ထာဝရဘုရား၏ သန့်ရှင်းမြင့်မြတ်သောလူစုတော်ဖြစ်လာကြ၏။ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့သည်ကိုယ်တော် ပိုင်တော်မူသောလူစုတော်ဖြစ်လာကြ၏။
Iudah was his sanctification, and Israel his dominion.
The Sea sawe it and fled: Iorden was turned backe.
4 ၄ တောင်ကြီးတို့သည်ဆိတ်များကဲ့သို့လည်းကောင်း၊ တောင်ငယ်တို့သည်သိုးများကဲ့သို့လည်းကောင်း ခုန်ပေါက်ကြ၏။
The mountaines leaped like rams, and the hils as lambes.
5 ၅ အချင်းပင်လယ်၊သင်သည်အဘယ်ကြောင့် ထွက်ပြေးပါသနည်း။ အချင်းယော်ဒန်မြစ်၊သင်သည်အဘယ်ကြောင့် မစီးဘဲရပ်တန့်ပါသနည်း။
What ailed thee, O Sea, that thou fleddest? O Iorden, why wast thou turned backe?
6 ၆ တောင်ကြီးတို့၊သင်တို့သည်အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဆိတ်များကဲ့သို့ခုန်ပေါက်ကြပါသနည်း။ တောင်ငယ်တို့၊သင်တို့သည်အဘယ်ကြောင့် သိုးသငယ်များကဲ့သို့ခုန်ပေါက်ကြပါ သနည်း။
Ye mountaines, why leaped ye like rams, and ye hils as lambes?
7 ၇ အချင်းမြေကြီး၊ယာကုပ်၏ဘုရား၊ ထာဝရဘုရားကြွလာတော်မူချိန်၌ ရှေ့တော်တွင် တုန်လှုပ်လျက်နေလော့။
The earth trembled at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Iaakob,
Which turneth the rocke into waterpooles, and the flint into a fountaine of water.
