1 ၁ ခရစ်တော်ယေရှု၏အစေခံများဖြစ်သည့် ပေါလုနှင့်တိမောသေတို့ထံမှ ဖိလိပ္ပိမြို့တွင် နေထိုင်ကြကုန်သောသင်းအုပ်များနှင့်သင်း ထောက်လူကြီးများမှစ၍ ခရစ်တော်ယေရှု နှင့်တစ်လုံးတစ်ဝတည်းဖြစ်ကြသောသခင် ဘုရား၏လူစုတော်ဝင်အပေါင်းတို့ထံသို့ စာရေးလိုက်ပါသည်။
Paul and Timothy, servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, together with the overseers and deacons:
2 ၂ သင်တို့သည်ငါတို့အဖဘုရားသခင်နှင့် သခင်ယေရှုခရစ်ထံတော်မှကျေးဇူးတော်နှင့် ငြိမ်သက်ခြင်းကိုခံစားရကြပါစေသော။
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 ၃ သင်တို့အကြောင်းကိုသတိရသည့်အခါတိုင်း ငါသည်ဘုရားသခင်၏ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းပါ၏။-
I give thanks to my God every time I remember you,
4 ၄ အမှုတော်ကိုငါစတင်ဆောင်ရွက်ချိန်မှယနေ့ တိုင်အောင်သတင်းကောင်းကိုကြေညာရာတွင် ငါ နှင့်အတူသင်တို့ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ကြသဖြင့်ငါ သည်သင်တို့အတွက်ဝမ်းမြောက်စွာဆုတောင်း ပါ၏။-
always praying with joy in every one of my prayers for you all

because of your partnership with me in the gospel from the first day until now.
6 ၆ သို့ဖြစ်၍သင်တို့တွင်ဤကောင်းမြတ်သည့်အမှု ကိုစတင်ပြုတော်မူသောဘုရားသခင်သည် ခရစ်တော်ယေရှု၏နေ့ရက်မတိုင်မီထိုအမှု ကိုပြီးစီးသည့်တိုင်အောင်ပြုတော်မူလိမ့်မည် ဟုငါယုံကြည်စိတ်ချ၏။-
I am confident that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
7 ၇ သင်တို့ကိုငါအစဉ်အောက်မေ့၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ ငါသည်သင်တို့နှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ယင်းသို့သဘော ထားအပ်၏။ ယခုငါအကျဉ်းခံလျက်နေရစဉ် အခါနှင့်သတင်းကောင်းကိုလွတ်လပ်စွာသက် သေခံတည်တံ့ခိုင်မြဲစေခွင့်ရစဉ်အခါက သင်တို့သည်ငါ့အားဘုရားသခင်ပေးတော် မူသောအခွင့်ထူးတွင်ပါဝင်လုပ်ဆောင်ကြ ပေသည်။-
It is right for me to think this way about you all, since I have you in my heart. For you all share with me in God's grace, both in my imprisonment and in my defense and confirmation of the gospel.
8 ၈ ငါသည်ခရစ်တော်ယေရှု၏မေတ္တာဖြင့်သင်တို့ အားလွန်စွာလွမ်းဆွတ်ကြောင်းဘုရားသခင် သည်ငါ့သက်သေဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။
For God is my witness that I long for you all with the affection of Jesus Christ.
9 ၉ သင်တို့သည်အမြတ်ဆုံးသောအရာကိုရွေးယူ နိုင်အံ့သောငှာအသိပညာ၊ ပိုင်းခြားဝေဖန်တတ် သောစွမ်းရည်တို့နှင့်ပြည့်စုံ၍မေတ္တာပါရမီတိုး သည်ထက်တိုးလာကြစေရန်သင်တို့အတွက် ငါဆုတောင်းပတ္ထနာပြုပါသည်။ သို့မှသာလျှင် သင်တို့သည်ခရစ်တော်ကြွလာတော်မူသော နေ့ရက်၌အပြစ်ဆိုဖွယ်မရှိဘဲအညစ် အကြေးနှင့်ကင်းစင်လိမ့်မည်။-
And I pray that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and all discernment,

so that you may approve what is excellent in order to be pure and blameless in the day of Christ,
11 ၁၁ ထို့အြုပင်ဘုရားသခင်၏ဘုန်းအသရေတော် ထွန်းတောက်စေရန်နှင့်ဂုဏ်တော်ကိုချီးကူး ကြစေရန် ယေရှုခရစ်အားဖြင့်သာလျှင်ရ နိုင်သောစစ်မှန်သည့်အရည်အသွေးကောင်း များနှင့်ပြည့်စုံလိမ့်မည်။
filled with the fruits of righteousness that come through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
12 ၁၂ ညီအစ်ကိုတို့၊ ငါတွေ့ကြုံရသည့်အဖြစ်အပျက် များသည်သတင်းကောင်းကိုကြေညာရာတွင် အကယ်ပင်အထောက်အကူပေးကြောင်းသင် တို့အားသိစေလို၏။-
Now I want you to know, brothers, that what has happened to me has actually helped advance the gospel,
13 ၁၃ ငါသည်ခရစ်တော်၏အစေခံဖြစ်သည့်အတွက် ကြောင့်ငါအကျဉ်းခံရလျက်နေရကြောင်းကို နန်းတော်အစောင့်တပ်တစ်တပ်လုံးနှင့်အခြား သူအပေါင်းတို့သိရှိကြပေသည်။-
so that it has become known among the entire imperial guard and to everyone else that my imprisonment is for Christ.
14 ၁၄ ဤသို့ငါအကျဉ်းခံရခြင်းကြောင့်ခရစ်ယာန် ညီအစ်ကိုအများပင်သခင်ဘုရားအပေါ်တွင် ပို၍ယုံကြည်စိတ်ချလာကြ၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍သူတို့ သည်မကြောက်မရွံ့ဘဲနှုတ်ကပတ်တရားတော် ကိုပိုမို၍ဟောပြောဝံ့ကြပေသည်။
And the greater part of the brothers in the Lord have gained confidence through my imprisonment and are far more bold to speak the word without fear.
15 ၁၅ အချို့သောသူတို့သည်မနာလိုသောစိတ်၊ ရန်တွေ့ လိုသောစိတ်နှင့်ခရစ်တော်အကြောင်းကိုဟော ပြောကြ၏။ အချို့သောသူတို့မူကားစေတနာ စိတ်နှင့်ဟောပြောကြပေသည်။-
Some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others do it out of good will.
16 ၁၆ ဤသူတို့သည်သခင်ယေရှုအကြောင်းသတင်း ကောင်းကိုကာကွယ်ဟောပြောရန်ငါ့အားဘုရား သခင်ခန့်ထားတော်မူကြောင်းကိုသိသဖြင့် မေတ္တာအလျောက်ဟောပြောကြခြင်းဖြစ်၏။-
The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely but intending to add affliction to me in my imprisonment.
17 ၁၇ အခြားသောသူတို့သည်ကားခရစ်တော်၏ အကြောင်းကိုစိတ်ရိုးသဘောရိုးဖြင့်မဟုတ်ဘဲ ကျော်ကြားလိုသောဆန္ဒဖြင့်ဟောပြောကြ၏။ သူတို့၏အကြံမှာအကျဉ်းခံနေရသူငါ့ အားပို၍စိတ်ဒုက္ခရောက်စေရန်ပင်ဖြစ်၏။
The latter do it out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel.
18 ၁၈ ဟောပြောသည့်နည်းမှာအရေးမကြီးပါ။ မှား ယွင်းသောရည်ရွယ်ချက်ဖြင့်ဟောပြောသည်ဖြစ်စေ၊ မှန်ကန်သောရည်ရွယ်ချက်ဖြင့်ဟောပြောသည် ဖြစ်စေခရစ်တော်အကြောင်းကိုဟောပြော ခြင်းသာဖြစ်သဖြင့်ငါဝမ်းမြောက်၏။ ဆက်လက် ၍ဝမ်းမြောက်လျက်နေမည်။-
But what does it matter? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed, and in that I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice.
19 ၁၉ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်သင်တို့၏ဆုတောင်း ပတ္ထနာကြောင့်လည်းကောင်း၊ ယေရှုခရစ်ဝိညာဉ် တော်၏ကူညီစောင်မမှုကြောင့်လည်းကောင်း ငါသည်ဤအနှောင်အဖွဲ့မှလွတ်မြောက်မည် ဟုငါသိသောကြောင့်ဖြစ်၏။-
For I know that this will result in my deliverance through your prayers and the provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
20 ၂၀ ငါသည်အဘယ်အခါ၌မျှမိမိ၏တာဝန် မပျက်မကွက်ဘဲအခါခပ်သိမ်း၌လည်း ကောင်း၊ အထူးသဖြင့်ယခုအခါ၌လည်းကောင်း ရဲစွမ်းသတ္တိနှင့်ပြည့်စုံလျက်ငါသည်အသက်ရှင် သည်ဖြစ်စေ၊ သေသည်ဖြစ်စေ၊ ငါ့အစွမ်းရှိသမျှ နှင့်ခရစ်တော်၏ဘုန်းအသရေတော်ထင်ရှား လာနိုင်စေရန်မျှော်လင့်တောင့်တ၏။-
My eager expectation and hope is that I will not be put to shame in anything, but will speak with complete boldness so that now, as always, Christ will be magnified in my body, whether I live or die.
21 ၂၁ အသက်ရှင်ခြင်းဟူသည်မှာအဘယ်နည်း။ ငါ ၏အဖို့မှာအသက်ရှင်ခြင်းသည်ခရစ်တော်ပင် ဖြစ်၏။ သေလျှင်မူကားပို၍အကျိုးရှိ၏။-
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
22 ၂၂ သို့ရာတွင်အကယ်၍ငါသည်ဆက်လက်အသက် ရှင်ခြင်းအားဖြင့်ပိုမိုအကျိုးပြုနိုင်မည်ဆို ပါက အသက်ရှင်ခြင်းနှင့်သေခြင်းတို့အနက် အဘယ်အရာကိုရွေးချယ်ရပါမည်နည်း။-
But if I am to live in the flesh, it will mean fruit from my labor. Yet I do not know which I prefer.
23 ၂၃ ငါ့မှာစိတ်နှစ်ခွဖြစ်လျက်နေတော့၏။ ငါသည်ဤ ဘဝကိုစွန့်၍ခရစ်တော်နှင့်အတူနေလိုလှပါ သည်။ သို့ပြုရလျှင်ငါ့အဖို့ပို၍အကျိုးရှိ၏။-
I am hard pressed between the two. I long to depart and be with Christ, which is far better.
But to remain in the flesh is more necessary for your sake.
25 ၂၅ ဤသို့ယုံကြည်စိတ်ချသဖြင့်ငါသည်သင်တို့ နှင့်အတူနေမည်။ သင်တို့အားတိုးတက်ကြီး ပွားစေရန်နှင့်ယုံကြည်ခြင်း၌ဝမ်းမြောက် စေရန်ငါသည်သင်တို့နှင့်အတူနေမည်။-
Convinced of this, I know that I will remain and continue with you all for the sake of your progress and joy in the faith,
26 ၂၆ သို့ဖြစ်၍ငါသည်သင်တို့နှင့်တစ်ဖန်နေခွင့် ရသောအခါ၌ခရစ်တော်ယေရှုနှင့်တစ်လုံး တစ်ဝတည်းဖြစ်သူသင်တို့သည်ငါ့အတွက် ကြောင့်ပို၍ပင်ဂုဏ်ယူဝါကြွားနိုင်ကြလိမ့်မည်။
so that your boasting may abound in Christ Jesus because of me when I come to you again.
27 ၂၇ ယခုသင်တို့အဖို့အရေးကြီးသည့်အရာမှာ ခရစ်တော်၏တရားတော်နှင့်အညီပြုမူနေထိုင် ကြရန်ပင်ဖြစ်ပေသည်။ သင်တို့ထံသို့ငါပြန် လာသည်ဖြစ်စေ၊ မလာသည်ဖြစ်စေသာသနာ တော်တည်တံ့ကြီးပွားရေးအတွက်ကြံ့ခိုင်စွာ ရပ်တည်၍တစ်စိတ်တစ်သဘောတည်း၊ ရည်ရွယ် ချက်တစ်ခုတည်းဖြင့်သတင်းကောင်းနှင့်ဆိုင် သောယုံကြည်ခြင်းတရားအတွက်သင်တို့တိုက်ပွဲ ဝင်လျက်ရှိကြကြောင်းကိုငါကြားသိလို၏။-
Only live as citizens in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear that you are standing firm in one spirit, striving together with one mind for the faith of the gospel,
28 ၂၈ သင်တို့သည်ရန်သူများကိုမကြောက်ကြနှင့်။ အခါခပ်သိမ်းရဲရင့်ကြလော့။ ဤသည်ပင်လျှင် ရန်သူတို့ရှုံးနိမ့်မည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်းနှင့်သင်တို့ အောင်မြင်မည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်းကိုရန်သူများအား သက်သေပြလိမ့်မည်။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော် သင်တို့အားအောင်ပွဲခံစေတော်မူသောအရှင် ကား ဘုရားသခင်ပင်ဖြစ်တော်မူသောကြောင့် တည်း။-
and not being intimidated in any way by those who oppose you. For them this is an indication of destruction, but for you it is an indication of salvation, and that from God.
29 ၂၉ သင်တို့သည်ခရစ်တော်ကိုယုံကြည်ခြင်းအား ဖြင့်သာမကကိုယ်တော်၏အတွက်ဆင်းရဲဒုက္ခ ခံခြင်းအားဖြင့်လည်း ကိုယ်တော်၏အမှုတော် ကိုဆောင်ရွက်ရန်အခွင့်ထူးကိုရရှိကြ၏။-
For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him,
30 ၃၀ ယခုသင်တို့သည်ငါနှင့်အတူတိုက်ပွဲကိုဝင် နိုင်ကြလေပြီ။ ယခင်အခါကငါတိုက်ပွဲဝင် ခဲ့သည်ကိုသင်တို့တွေ့မြင်ခဲ့ကြ၏။ သင်တို့ ကြားသိသည့်အတိုင်းယခုလည်းငါသည် တိုက်ပွဲကိုဝင်လျက်နေသေး၏။
since you are experiencing the same conflict that you saw I had and now hear that I still have.
