တောလည်ရာ 31
Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,
2 ၂ ``ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့အတွက်မိဒျန် အမျိုးသားတို့အားလက်စားချေလော့။ ထို တာဝန်ကိုဆောင်ရွက်ပြီးနောက် သင်သည် အနိစ္စရောက်လိမ့်မည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
“Take vengeance on the Midianites for what they did to the Israelites. After doing that, you will die and be gathered to your people.”
3 ၃ ထို့ကြောင့်မောရှေသည်ဣသရေလအမျိုးသား တို့အား``မိဒျန်အမျိုးသားတို့သည်ထာဝရ ဘုရားကိုပြစ်မှားကြသောကြောင့် သူတို့ကို တိုက်ခိုက်ချေမှုန်းရန်အသင့်ပြင်ကြလော့။-
So Moses spoke to the people. He said, “Arm some of your men for war so they may go against Midian and carry out Yahweh's vengeance on it.
4 ၄ စစ်ချီတက်တိုက်ခိုက်ရန်ဣသရေလအနွယ် များမှ တစ်နွယ်လျှင်လူတစ်ထောင်ကျစေ လွှတ်လော့'' ဟုဆို၏။
Every tribe throughout Israel must send a thousand soldiers to war.”
5 ၅ သို့ဖြစ်၍စစ်ချီရန်ဣသရေလအနွယ်များ မှလူတစ်ထောင်ကျစီဖြင့် လူပေါင်းတစ်သောင်း နှစ်ထောင်ကိုရွေးချယ်ကြလေသည်။-
So out of Israel's thousands of men, one thousand was provided from each tribe, twelve thousand men armed for war.
6 ၆ ထိုနောက်မောရှေသည်ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ဧလာ ဇာ၏သား ဖိနဟတ်အားဣသရေလတပ်ကို အုပ်ချုပ်ကွပ်ကဲစေ၏။ သူနှင့်အတူတဲတော် နှင့်ဆိုင်သောအသုံးအဆောင်ပစ္စည်းများနှင့် အချက်ပေးတံပိုးခရာများကိုယူဆောင် သွား၏။-
Then Moses sent them to battle, a thousand from every tribe, along with Phinehas son of Eleazar the priest, and with some articles from the holy place and the trumpets in his possession for sounding signals.
7 ၇ ထာဝရဘုရားကမောရှေအားအမိန့်ပေး တော်မူသည်အတိုင်း သူတို့သည်မိဒျန်အမျိုး သားတို့ကိုတိုက်ခိုက်ရာ၊-
They fought against Midian, as Yahweh had commanded Moses. They killed every man.
8 ၈ မိဒျန်ဘုရင်ငါးပါးဖြစ်ကြသောဧဝိ၊ ရေ ကင်၊ ဇုရ၊ ဟုရနှင့်ရေဘတို့အပါအဝင် ယောကျာ်းအားလုံးကို သတ်ဖြတ်သုတ်သင်ခဲ့ ကြလေသည်။ ဗောရ၏သားဗာလမ်ကို လည်းသတ်ခဲ့ကြ၏။
They killed the kings of Midian with the rest of their dead: Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba, the five kings of Midian. They also killed Balaam son of Beor, with the sword.
9 ၉ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့သည် မိဒျန် အမျိုးသမီးနှင့် ကလေးများကိုသုံ့ပန်း အဖြစ်ဖမ်းဆီး၍သူတို့၏သိုး၊ နွား တိရစ္ဆာန်တို့နှင့်တကွပစ္စည်းဥစ္စာရှိသမျှ ကိုသိမ်းယူလေ၏။-
The army of Israel took captive the women of Midian, their children, all their cattle, all their flocks, and all their goods. They took these as plunder.
They burned all their cities where they lived and all their camps.
They took all the plunder and prisoners, both people and animals.
12 ၁၂ ယေရိခေါမြို့တစ်ဖက်ယော်ဒန်မြစ်နားရှိ မောဘလွင်ပြင်တွင် စခန်းချလျက်ရှိသော မောရှေ၊ ဧလာဇာနှင့်ဣသရေလအမျိုး သားတို့ထံယူဆောင်ခဲ့ကြလေသည်။
They brought the prisoners, the plunder, and the captured things to Moses, to Eleazar the priest, and to the community of the people of Israel. They brought these to the camp in the plains of Moab, by the Jordan near Jericho.
13 ၁၃ မောရှေ၊ ဧလာဇာနှင့်ဣသရေလခေါင်း ဆောင်အပေါင်းတို့သည် စခန်းအပြင်သို့ ထွက်၍တပ်သားများကိုဆီးကြိုကြ၏။-
Moses, Eleazar the priest, and all the leaders of the community went to meet them outside the camp.
14 ၁၄ သို့ရာတွင်မောရှေသည်တိုက်ပွဲပြန်တပ် ရင်းမှူး၊ တပ်ခွဲမှူးစသောအရာရှိတို့ ကိုအမျက်ထွက်၍၊-
But Moses was angry with the officers of the army, the commanders of thousands and the captains of hundreds, who came from battle.
Moses said to them, “Have you let all the women live?
16 ၁၆ ဤအမျိုးသမီးများသည်ဗာလမ်၏အကြံ ပေးချက်အရပေဂုရအရပ်တွင် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့အား ထာဝရဘုရားကိုသစ္စာ ဖောက်စေခဲ့ကြောင်းသတိရကြလော့။ ထို အပြစ်ကြောင့်ထာဝရဘုရား၏လူစု တွင်ကပ်ရောဂါကျရောက်ခဲ့၏။-
Look, these women caused the people of Israel, through Balaam's advice, to commit sin against Yahweh in the matter of Peor, when the plague spread among Yahweh's community.
17 ၁၇ သို့ဖြစ်၍ယောကျာ်းကလေးများနှင့် ယောကျာ်း နှင့်ဆက်ဆံဖူးသောမိန်းမရှိသမျှတို့ ကိုသတ်လော့။-
Now then, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has ever slept with a man.
But take for yourselves all the young girls who have never slept with a man.
19 ၁၉ သင်တို့တွင်လူအသက်ကိုသတ်ခဲ့သူနှင့် လူသေကောင်ကို ကိုင်တွယ်မိခဲ့သူအပေါင်း တို့သည်စခန်းအပြင်ဘက်တွင်ခုနစ်ရက် နေထိုင်ရကြမည်။ တတိယနေ့နှင့်သတ္တမ နေ့ရက်များ၌ သင်တို့နှင့်သင်တို့ဖမ်းဆီး ခဲ့သောအမျိုးသမီးများအတွက် သန့်စင်ခြင်းဝတ်ကိုပြုရမည်။-
You must camp outside the camp of Israel for seven days. All of you who have killed anyone and or have touched any dead person—you must purify yourselves on the third day and on the seventh day—you and your prisoners.
20 ၂၀ သင်တို့၏အဝတ်အင်္ကျီများနှင့်သားရေ၊ ဆိတ်မွေးသို့မဟုတ်သစ်သားဖြင့်ပြုလုပ် သောပစ္စည်းရှိသမျှတို့ကိုလည်းသန့်စင် စေရမည်'' ဟုဆို၏။
You must purify every garment and everything made of animal hide and goats' hair, and everything made of wood.”
21 ၂၁ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ဧလာဇာကလည်းတိုက်ပွဲပြန် စစ်သည်တို့အား``ထာဝရဘုရားကမောရှေ အားမိန့်ကြားတော်မူသောပညတ်များမှာ၊-
Eleazar the priest said to the soldiers who had gone to war, “This is a decreed law that Yahweh has given to Moses:
22 ၂၂ ရွှေ၊ ငွေ၊ ကြေးဝါ၊ သံ၊ သံဖြူ၊ ခဲအစရှိသည့်မီး မလောင်ကျွမ်းနိုင်သောသတ္တုပစ္စည်းရှိသမျှ အားမီးကိုဖြတ်သန်းစေခြင်းဖြင့်သန့်စင်စေ ရမည်။ အခြားသံဝတ္ထုပစ္စည်းများကိုသန့်စင် ခြင်းဝတ်ပြုရာရေဖြင့်သန့်စင်စေရမည်။-
The gold, silver, bronze, iron, tin, and lead,
23 ၂၃
and everything that resists fire, you must put it through the fire, and it will become clean. You must then purify those things with the water of cleansing. Whatever cannot go through the fire you must cleanse with that water.
24 ၂၄ သတ္တမနေ့တွင်သင်တို့၏အဝတ်အင်္ကျီ များကိုဖွပ်လျှော်ရမည်။ ထိုနောက်သင်တို့ သည်သန့်စင်ပြီဖြစ်သဖြင့် စခန်းအတွင်း သို့ပြန်လည်ဝင်ရောက်နိုင်သည်ဟူ၍ဖြစ် သည်'' ဟုဆိုလေ၏။
You must wash your clothes on the seventh day, and then you will become clean. Afterward you may come into Israel's camp.”
Then Yahweh spoke to Moses and said,
26 ၂၆ ``သင်နှင့်ဧလာဇာတို့သည်ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားအကြီးအကဲတို့နှင့်အတူ သုံ့ပန်းနှင့်တိရစ္ဆာန်များအပါအဝင် လက်ရသိမ်းဆည်းခဲ့သောပစ္စည်းရှိသမျှ ကိုရေတွက်ရမည်။-
“Count all the plundered things that were taken, both people and animals. You, Eleazar the priest, and the leaders of the community's ancestor's clans
27 ၂၇ ထိုပစ္စည်းများကိုထက်ဝက်စီအညီအမျှ ခွဲပြီးလျှင် တစ်ဝက်ကိုစစ်သည်တို့အားပေး ၍ တစ်ဝက်ကိုကျန်သောဣသရေလအမျိုး သားတို့အားပေးရမည်။-
must divide the plunder into two parts. Divide it between the soldiers who went out to battle and all the rest of the community.
28 ၂၈ စစ်သည်တို့အတွက်ဝေစုထဲမှသုံ့ပန်းငါးရာ လျှင် တစ်ယောက်ကျဖြင့်လည်းကောင်း၊ သိုး၊ နွား၊ မြည်း၊ ဆိတ်တို့ကိုလည်းထိုအချိုးကျဖြင့် လည်းကောင်း ထာဝရဘုရားအတွက်အခွန် အဖြစ်သီးသန့်ထားရမည်။-
Then levy a tax to be given to me from the soldiers who went out to battle. This tax must be one out of every five hundred, whether persons, cattle, donkeys, sheep, or goats.
29 ၂၉ ထာဝရဘုရားအားဆက်သရန်အထူးလှူဖွယ် အဖြစ် ထိုဝေစုကိုယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်ဧလာဇာ အားပေးအပ်ရမည်။-
Take this tax from their half and give it to Eleazar the priest for an offering to be presented to me.
30 ၃၀ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့အတွက်ဝေစုထဲ မှ သုံ့ပန်းငါးဆယ်လျှင်တစ်ယောက်ကျဖြင့် လည်းကောင်း၊ သိုး၊ နွား၊ မြည်း၊ ဆိတ်တို့ကိုလည်း ထိုအချိုးကျဖြင့်လည်းကောင်းနုတ်ယူ၍ ထာဝရဘုရား၏တဲတော်ကိုတာဝန်ယူ စောင့်ထိန်းရသောလေဝိအမျိုးသားတို့ အားပေးအပ်ရမည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။-
Also from the people of Israel's half, you must take one out of every fifty—from the persons, cattle, donkeys, sheep, and goats. Give these to the Levites who take care of my tabernacle.”
So Moses and Eleazar the priest did as Yahweh had commanded Moses.
32 ၃၂ စစ်သည်တို့ကိုယ်ပိုင်အတွက်သိမ်းထားသော ပစ္စည်းများအပြင် လက်ရသိမ်းဆည်းခဲ့သော တိရစ္ဆာန်နှင့်လူအရေအတွက်စာရင်းမှာ သိုး နှင့်ဆိတ်ကောင်ရေခြောက်သိန်းခုနစ်သောင်း ငါးထောင်၊ နွားကောင်ရေခုနစ်သောင်းနှစ်ထောင်၊ မြည်းကောင်ရေခြောက်သောင်းတစ်ထောင်နှင့် အပျိုကညာဦးရေသုံးသောင်းနှစ်ထောင် ယောက်ဖြစ်သည်။-
Now the plunder that remained of what the soldiers had taken was 675,000 sheep,
33 ၃၃
seventy-two thousand oxen,
34 ၃၄
sixty-one thousand donkeys,
35 ၃၅
and thirty-two thousand women who had never slept with any man.
36 ၃၆ စစ်သည်တို့အတွက်ထက်ဝက်ဝေစုမှာ သိုး နှင့်ဆိတ်ကောင်ရေပေါင်းသုံးသိန်းသုံးသောင်း ခုနစ်ထောင့်ငါးရာဖြစ်၍ ၎င်းတို့အနက် ထာဝရဘုရားအတွက်အခွန်အဖြစ်ဆက် သရန်ကောင်ရေမှာ ခြောက်ရာ့ခုနစ်ဆယ့်ငါး ဖြစ်သည်။ စစ်သည်တို့အတွက်ဝေစုနွားကောင် ရေသုံးသောင်းခြောက်ထောင်ဖြစ်၍ ၎င်းတို့အနက် ထာဝရဘုရားအတွက်အခွန်အဖြစ်ဆက် သရန် ကောင်ရေမှာခုနစ်ဆယ့်နှစ်ကောင်ဖြစ် သည်။ စစ်သည်တို့အတွက်ဝေစုမှာမြည်း ကောင်ရေသုံးသောင်းငါးရာဖြစ်၍၎င်းတို့ အနက် ထာဝရဘုရားအတွက်အခွန် အဖြစ်ဆက်သရန်ကောင်ရေမှာခြောက်ဆယ့် တစ်ဖြစ်သည်။ စစ်သည်တို့အတွက်ဝေစု မှာအပျိုကညာတစ်သောင်းခြောက်ထောင် ယောက်ဖြစ်၍ ၎င်းတို့အနက်ထာဝရဘုရား အတွက်အခွန်အဖြစ်ဆက်သရန်အတွက် မှာသုံးဆယ့်နှစ်ယောက်ဖြစ်သည်။-
The half that was kept for the soldiers numbered 337,000 sheep.
37 ၃၇
Yahweh's part of the sheep was 675.
38 ၃၈
The oxen were thirty-six thousand which Yahweh's tax was seventy-two.
39 ၃၉
The donkeys were 30,500 from which Yahweh's part was sixty-one.
40 ၄၀
The persons were sixteen thousand women of whom Yahweh's tax was thirty-two.
41 ၄၁ သို့ဖြစ်၍ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည် အတိုင်း မောရှေသည်ထာဝရဘုရားအား ဆက်သရန် အထူးလှူဖွယ်အဖြစ်ဝေစုကို ဧလာဇာအားပေးအပ်လေသည်။
Moses took the tax that was to be an offering presented to Yahweh. He gave it to Eleazar the priest, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
42 ၄၂ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့အတွက်ဝေစု သည်လည်း စစ်သည်တို့အတွက် ဝေစုအတိုင်း သိုးနှင့်ဆိတ်ကောင်ရေသုံးသိန်းသုံးသောင်း ခုနစ်ထောင့်ငါးရာ၊ နွားကောင်ရေသုံးသောင်း ခြောက်ထောင်၊ မြည်းကောင်ရေသုံးသောင်းငါး ရာနှင့်အပျိုကညာဦးရေတစ်သောင်းခြောက် ထောင်ယောက်ဖြစ်သည်။-
As for the people of Israel's half that Moses had taken from the soldiers who had gone to war—
43 ၄၃
the community's half was 337,500 sheep,
44 ၄၄
thirty-six thousand oxen,
45 ၄၅
30,500 donkeys,
46 ၄၆
and sixteen thousand women.
47 ၄၇ မောရှေသည်ထိုဝေစုထဲမှသုံ့ပန်းနှင့်တိရစ္ဆာန် တို့ကို ငါးဆယ်ချိုးတစ်ချိုးကျနုတ်ယူ၍ ထာဝရ ဘုရားမိန့်မှာတော်မူသည်အတိုင်း တဲတော်ကို တာဝန်ယူစောင့်ထိန်းရသောလေဝိအမျိုးသား တို့အားပေးအပ်လေသည်။
From the people of Israel's half, Moses took one out of every fifty, both of people and animals. He gave them to the Levites who kept care of Yahweh's tabernacle, as Yahweh had commanded him to do.
48 ၄၈ ထိုနောက်တပ်မှူးတို့သည် မောရှေထံသို့လာ ရောက်၍``အကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏လက်အောက်ရှိစစ်သည် များကိုရေတွက်ရာ တစ်ယောက်မျှပျောက်ဆုံး ခြင်းမရှိကြောင်းတွေ့ရပါသည်။-
Then the officers of the army, the commanders over thousands and the captains over hundreds, came to Moses.
49 ၄၉
They said to him, “Your servants have counted the soldiers who are under our command, and not one man is missing.
50 ၅၀ သို့ဖြစ်၍အကျွန်ုပ်တို့အသီးသီးသိမ်းယူ ရရှိသောရွှေတန်ဆာ၊ လက်ကောက်၊ ဘယက်၊ လက်စွပ်၊ နားဆွဲနှင့်လည်ဆွဲတို့ကိုကိုယ်တော် ထံသို့ယူဆောင်ခဲ့ကြပါသည်။ ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည်အကျွန်ုပ်တို့၏အသက်ကိုချမ်း သာပေးသောကြောင့် ထိုလက်ဝတ်တန်ဆာများ ကိုဆက်သပါသည်'' ဟုအစီရင်ခံကြ၏။-
We have brought Yahweh's offering, what each man found, articles of gold, armlets and bracelets, signet rings, earrings, and necklaces, to make atonement for ourselves before Yahweh.”
Moses and Eleazar the priest received from them the gold and all the articles of craftsmanship.
All the gold of the offering that they gave to Yahweh—the offerings from the commanders of thousands and from the captains of hundreds—weighed 16,750 shekels.
53 ၅၃ ရိုးရိုးတပ်သားတို့သည်မိမိတို့ရရှိသော ပစ္စည်းများကို ကိုယ်ပိုင်အတွက်သိမ်းဆည်း ထားကြ၏။-
Each soldier had taken plunder, each man for himself.
54 ၅၄ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်ဣသရေလအမျိုး သားတို့ကို ကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်တော်မူအံ့ သောငှာ မောရှေနှင့်ဧလာဇာတို့သည်ရွှေများ ကိုတဲတော်သို့ယူဆောင်သွားကြလေသည်။
Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold from the commanders of thousands and captains of hundreds. They took it into the tent of meeting as a reminder of the people of Israel for Yahweh.
