တောလည်ရာ 23
And Bil'am said unto Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven bullocks and seven rams.
2 ၂ ဗာလမ်စေခိုင်းသည့်အတိုင်းဗာလက်သည် ဆောင်ရွက်၍ သူတို့နှစ်ဦးသည်ယဇ်ပလ္လင်တစ်ခု စီပေါ်တွင်နွားတစ်ကောင်နှင့်သိုးတစ်ကောင် ကိုယဇ်ပူဇော်ကြလေသည်။-
And Balak did as Bil'am had spoken; and Balak and Bil'am offered a bullock and a ram on every altar.
3 ၃ ထိုနောက်ဗာလမ်ကဗာလက်အား``သင်သည် မီးရှို့ရာယဇ်နားတွင်ရပ်နေလော့။ ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည်ငါနှင့်တွေ့ဆုံရန်ကြွလာမည်၊ မကြွလာမည်ကိုသွား၍ကြည့်မည်။ ထာဝရ ဘုရားကငါ့အား ဗျာဒိတ်ပေးတော်မူသမျှ ကိုသင့်အားငါပြောပြမည်'' ဟုဆိုလေ၏။ ထိုကြောင့်သူသည်တစ်ယောက်တည်းတောင် ကုန်းတစ်ခုပေါ်သို့တက်သွားသောအခါ၊-
And Bil'am said unto Balak, Place thyself by thy burnt-offering; and I will go, peradventure the Lord will come to meet me, and whatsoever he may show me I will tell thee: and he went thoughtfully alone.
4 ၄ ဘုရားသခင်သည်သူနှင့်တွေ့ဆုံရန်ကြွ လာတော်မူ၏။ ထိုအခါဗာလမ်ကထာဝရ ဘုရားအား``အကျွန်ုပ်သည်ယဇ်ပလ္လင်ခုနစ်ခု ကိုတည်၍တစ်ခုစီပေါ်တွင် နွားထီးတစ်ကောင် နှင့်သိုးထီးတစ်ကောင်ကိုပူဇော်ပါပြီ'' ဟု လျှောက်ထားလေ၏။
And God met Bil'am: and he said unto him, The seven altars have I made ready, and I have offered a bullock and a ram upon every altar.
5 ၅ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်ဗာလက်အား ဆင့်ဆို ရမည့်စကားကိုမိန့်ကြားပြီးလျှင်ဗာလမ် ကိုဗာလက်ထံသို့ပြန်စေတော်မူ၏။-
And the Lord put a word in Bil'am's mouth, and said, Return unto Balak, and thus shalt thou speak.
6 ၆ သို့ဖြစ်၍ဗာလမ်သည်ဗာလက်ဘုရင်ထံသို့ ပြန်လာသောအခါ ဘုရင်သည်မောဘအမျိုး သားခေါင်းဆောင်တို့နှင့်အတူ မီးရှို့ရာယဇ်ပလ္လင် အနားတွင်ရပ်နေသည်ကိုတွေ့မြင်ရလေ၏။
And he returned unto him, and, lo, he was standing by his burnt-offering, he, and all the princes of Moab.
7 ၇ ထိုအခါဗာလမ်သည်အောက်ပါဗျာဒိတ်တော် ကိုဆင့်ဆို၏။ ``မောဘပြည်ဘုရင်ဗာလက်ကရှုရိပြည်တည်ရာ အရှေ့တောင်တန်းများမှငါ့အားခေါ်ဆောင်ခဲ့လေ ပြီ။ ဘုရင်က`လာ၍ယာကုပ်အဆက်အနွယ်တို့ကို ကျိန်ဆဲပါလော့။ လာ၍ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့ကို ရှုတ်ချပါလော့' ဟုဆို၏။
And he took up his parable, and said, From Aram did Balak send for me, the king of Moab, out of the mountains of the east, Come, curse me Jacob, and come, defy Israel.
8 ၈ ဘုရားသခင်ကျိန်ဆဲတော်မမူသောသူတို့ ကို ငါအဘယ်သို့ကျိန်ဆဲနိုင်မည်နည်း။ ဘုရားသခင်ရှုတ်ချတော်မမူသောသူတို့ကို ငါအဘယ်သို့ရှုတ်ချနိုင်မည်နည်း။
How shall I denounce, whom God hath not denounced? and how shall I defy, whom the Lord hath not defied?
9 ၉ ငါသည်ကျောက်တောင်များပေါ်မှသူတို့ကို မြင်ရ၏။ ငါသည်တောင်ကုန်းများပေါ်မှသူတို့ကိုရှု မြင်နိုင်၏။ သူတို့သည်လူမျိုးအပေါင်းတို့တွင်ထူးခြား သော လူမျိုးဖြစ်၏။ အခြားလူများထက်ကောင်းချီးပို၍ခံစား ရသူများ ဖြစ်ကြောင်းကိုသူတို့သိကြ၏။
For from the top of rocks I see him, and from hills I behold him: lo, it is a people that shall dwell alone, and among the nations it shall not be reckoned.
10 ၁၀ ဣသရေလအဆက်အနွယ်တို့သည်များပြား လှသဖြင့် မြေမှုန့်ကိုမရေမတွက်နိုင်သကဲ့သို့၊ သူတို့ကိုမရေမတွက်နိုင်။ ဘုရားသခင်၏လူစုဝင်တစ်ယောက်ကဲ့သို့ သေရပါလို၏။ ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူကဲ့သို့ငြိမ်းချမ်းစွာသေရ ပါလို၏။''
Who can count the dust of Jacob, and number the fourth part of Israel? May my soul die the death of the righteous, and may my last end be like his!
11 ၁၁ ထိုအခါဗာလက်ဘုရင်ကဗာလမ်အား``ကိုယ် တော်မည်သို့ပြုလုပ်လိုက်ပါသနည်း။ အကျွန်ုပ် ၏ရန်သူတို့ကိုကျိန်ဆဲရန်ကိုယ်တော်ကိုခေါ် ဆောင်ခဲ့ပါသော်လည်း ကိုယ်တော်သည်သူတို့ ကိုကောင်းချီးပေးပါသည်တကား'' ဟုဆို၏။
And Balak said unto Bil'am, What hast thou done unto me? to denounce my enemies did I take thee, and, behold, thou hast even blessed them.
12 ၁၂ ဗာလမ်က``ထာဝရဘုရားဆင့်ဆိုစေလို သည့်အတိုင်းသာလျှင် ငါဆင့်ဆိုနိုင်သည်'' ဟု ပြန်ဖြေလေ၏။
And he answered and said, Must I not take heed to speak that only which the Lord may put in my mouth?
13 ၁၃ ထိုနောက်ဗာလက်ဘုရင်ကဗာလမ်အား``ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားအချို့ကိုသာ မြင်နိုင်သောနေရာသို့ လိုက်ခဲ့ပါ။ ထိုအရပ်မှနေ၍သူတို့ကို ကျိန်ဆဲ ပါလော့'' ဟုဆိုလေ၏။-
And Balak said unto him, Come, I pray thee, with me unto another place, from where thou canst see them; nevertheless a portion of them only wilt thou see, but the whole of them thou wilt not see: and denounce them for me from there.
14 ၁၄ သို့ဖြစ်၍ဗာလက်ဘုရင်သည်ဗာလမ်ကို ပိသဂါ တောင်ပေါ်ရှိဇောဖိမ်ကွင်းသို့ခေါ်ဆောင်သွားလေ သည်။ ထိုအရပ်၌လည်းသူသည်ယဇ်ပလ္လင်ခုနစ်ခု ကိုတည်၍ တစ်ခုစီပေါ်တွင်နွားထီးတစ်ကောင် နှင့်သိုးထီးတစ်ကောင်ကိုပူဇော်လေသည်။
And he brought him to the field of the watchmen, on the top of Pisgah, and he built seven altars, and offered a bullock and a ram on every altar.
15 ၁၅ ဗာလမ်ကဗာလက်ဘုရင်အား``သင်သည်မီးရှို့ ရာယဇ်နားတွင်ရပ်နေလော့။ ငါသည်သွား၍ ဘုရားသခင်နှင့်တွေ့ဆုံမည်'' ဟုဆို၏။
And he said unto Balak, Place thyself here by thy burnt-offering, while I will repair to yonder place.
16 ၁၆ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်ဗာလက်အား ဆင့်ဆိုရမည့် စကားကိုမိန့်ကြားပြီးနောက်ဗာလမ်ကိုဗာလက် ထံသို့ပြန်စေတော်မူ၏။-
And the Lord met Bil'am, and put a word in his mouth, and said, Return unto Balak, and thus shalt thou speak.
17 ၁၇ ထို့ကြောင့်ဗာလမ်သည်ဗာလက်ဘုရင်ထံသို့ ပြန်လာသောအခါ ဘုရင်သည်မောဘအမျိုး သားခေါင်းဆောင်တို့နှင့်အတူ မီးရှို့ရာယဇ် အနားတွင်ရပ်နေသည်ကိုတွေ့မြင်ရ၏။ ဗာလက် ဘုရင်ကထာဝရဘုရားမည်သို့မိန့်ကြား တော်မူကြောင်းကိုမေးမြန်း၏။-
And he came to him, and, behold, he was standing by his burnt-offering, and the princes of Moab with him; and Balak said unto him: What hath the Lord spoken?
18 ၁၈ ထိုအခါဗာလမ်သည်အောက်ပါဗျာဒိတ်တော် ကိုဆင့်ဆိုလေ၏။ ``ဇိဖော်၏သားဗာလက်၊ငါ့ထံသို့လာ၍ ငါပြောမည့်စကားကိုနားထောင်လော့။
And he took up his parable, and said, Rise up, Balak, and hear; bend hither thy ear unto me, son of Zippor!
19 ၁၉ ဘုရားသခင်သည်လူကဲ့သို့မုသားစကား ကိုမပြော။ လူကဲ့သို့စိတ်ပြောင်းလဲတော်မမူ။ ကတိတော်အတိုင်းပြုတော်မူ၏။ အမိန့်တော်အတိုင်းဖြစ်ပျက်တတ်၏။
God is not a man, that he should lie; nor a son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? and hath he spoken, and shall he not fulfill it?
20 ၂၀ ကောင်းချီးပေးရန်ငါ့အားစေခိုင်းတော်မူပြီ။ ဘုရားသခင်ပေးတော်မူသောကောင်းချီးကို ငါသည်မရုတ်သိမ်းနိုင်။
Behold, to bless I have received [the word]; and he hath blessed, and I cannot reverse it.
21 ၂၁ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့သည်နောင်အခါ ဘေးဒုက္ခရောက်မည်ကိုငါမမြင်။ သူတို့၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သူတို့နှင့်အတူရှိတော်မူ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်သူတို့၏ဘုရင်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ကို ကြေညာကြ၏။
He hath not beheld any wrong in Jacob, nor hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the Lord his God is with him, and the glory of the king dwelleth among him.
22 ၂၂ ဘုရားသခင်သည်သူတို့ကိုအီဂျစ်ပြည်မှ ထုတ်ဆောင်တော်မူခဲ့၏။ သူတို့သည်နွားရိုင်းကဲ့သို့ခွန်အားကြီး၏။
God, who brought them out of Egypt, is to them like the heights of the reem.
23 ၂၃ မှော်အတတ်၊စုန်းအတတ်တို့၏အကူအညီဖြင့် ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့ကို၊ အဘယ်သူမျှမတိုက်ခိုက်နိုင်။ ဘုရားသခင်သည်ဣသရေလအမျိုးသား တို့အား ကျေးဇူးပြုတော်မူပုံမှာ အံ့သြဘွယ်ဟူ၍ဆိုစမှတ်ပြုကြလိမ့်မည်။
For there is no enchantment in Jacob, nor is there any divination in Israel: at the proper time shall it be said to Jacob and to Israel, what God doth work.
24 ၂၄ ဣသရေလနိုင်ငံသည်ခွန်အားကြီးသောခြင်္သေ့ နှင့်တူ၏။ သားကောင်ကိုမသတ်ဖြတ်သွေးကိုမသောက် ရလျှင် ထိုခြင်္သေ့သည်ငြိမ်ဝပ်၍နေမည်မဟုတ်။''
Behold, it is a people, that shall rise up as a lioness, and as a lion shall it raise itself: it will not lie down until it have eaten the prey, and have drunk the blood of the slain.
25 ၂၅ ထိုအခါဗာလက်ဘုရင်ကဗာလမ်အား``ကိုယ် တော်သည်ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့ကိုမကျိန် ဆဲပါနှင့်။ သို့ရာတွင်သူတို့အားကောင်းချီး မပေးပါနှင့်'' ဟုဆို၏။
And Balak said unto Bil'am, Neither shalt thou denounce them, nor shalt thou any wise bless them.
26 ၂၆ ဗာလမ်က``ငါသည်ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူ သမျှအတိုင်း ပြုလုပ်ရသည်ဟုသင့်အားငါ ပြောခဲ့ပြီမဟုတ်လော'' ဟုဖြေကြားလေသည်။
But Bil'am answered and said unto Balak, Have I not spoken unto thee, saying, all that the Lord will speak, that must I do.
27 ၂၇ တစ်ဖန်ဗာလက်ဘုရင်ကဗာလမ်အား``အခြား တစ်နေရာသို့လိုက်ခဲ့ပါလော့။ ကိုယ်တော်အား ထိုအရပ်မှနေ၍သူတို့ကိုကျိန်ဆဲစေရန် ဘုရားသခင်အလိုတော်ရှိကောင်းရှိမည်'' ဟုဆို၏။-
And Balak said unto Bil'am, Come, I pray thee, I will take thee unto another place, peradventure it may be pleasing in the eyes of God that thou mayest denounce them for me from there.
28 ၂၈ သို့ဖြစ်၍သူသည်ဗာလမ်အားတောကန္တာရကို မြင်နိုင်သော ပေဂုရတောင်ထိပ်ပေါ်သို့ခေါ်ဆောင် သွားလေသည်။-
And Balak took Bil'am unto the top of Peor, that looketh toward the desert.
29 ၂၉ ဗာလမ်က ဘုရင်အား``ဤအရပ်တွင်ငါ့အတွက် ယဇ်ပလ္လင်ခုနစ်ခုကိုတည်လော့။ နွားထီးခုနစ် ကောင်နှင့်သိုးထီးခုနစ်ကောင်ကိုယူဆောင်ခဲ့ လော့'' ဟုစေခိုင်းလေသည်။-
And Bil'am said unto Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven bullocks and seven rams.
30 ၃၀ ဗာလက်ဘုရင်သည်ဗာလမ်စေခိုင်းသည့်အတိုင်း ယဇ်ပလ္လင်များတည်၍ တစ်ခုစီပေါ်တွင်နွားထီး တစ်ကောင်နှင့်သိုးထီးတစ်ကောင်ကိုပူဇော် လေ၏။
And Balak did as Bil'am had said, and he offered a bullock and a ram on every altar.
