Once more Jesus answered them in parables.
2 ၂ ကိုယ်တော်က ``ကောင်းကင်နိုင်ငံတော်သည်သား တော်အတွက်မင်္ဂလာဆောင်ဧည့်ခံပွဲကိုပြင်ဆင် ထားသည့်ဘုရင်တစ်ပါးကြုံတွေ့ရသည့်အဖြစ် အပျက်နှင့်တူ၏။-
"The kingdom of heaven," he said, "may be compared to a king who made a wedding-feast for his son.
3 ၃ မင်းကြီးသည်ဖိတ်ကြားထားသူများထံသို့မင်း စေတို့ကိုလွှတ်၍ခေါ်ဖိတ်စေ၏။ သို့ရာတွင်သူတို့ သည်မလာလိုကြ။-
"He sent out his slaves to summon the invited guests to the feast, but they did not want to come.
4 ၄ မင်းကြီးက `ငါ၏ညစာစားပွဲအသင့်ရှိပြီ။ နွား အစရှိသည့်ဆူဖြိုးသောတိရစ္ဆာန်များကိုလည်း သတ်ပြီးပြီ။ အားလုံးအဆင်သင့်ရှိပြီဖြစ်၍ မင်္ဂလာဆောင်ပွဲသို့ကြွရောက်ကြပါ' ဟုဖိတ် ကြားထားသူတို့အားပြောကြလော့ဟူ၍ အခြားမင်းစေတို့အားလွှတ်တော်မူ၏။-
"Again he sent out other slaves. ‘Tell the invited guests,’ he said,’that my luncheon is now ready; my oxen and fat cattle are killed; everything is ready; come to the wedding-feast.’
5 ၅ သို့ရာတွင်ဖိတ်ကြားထားသူတို့သည်မင်းစေ တို့ကိုဂရုမစိုက်ဘဲတစ်ယောက်ကလယ်တော သို့လည်းကောင်း၊ အခြားတစ်ယောက်ကမိမိ ကုန်သွယ်ရာသို့လည်းကောင်းသွားကြ၏။-
"They, however, paid no attention, but went off, one to his own farm, another to his business;
"while the rest seized his slaves and maltreated and murdered them.
7 ၇ မင်းကြီးသည်လွန်စွာအမျက်ထွက်၍စစ်သား များကိုစေလွှတ်ပြီးလျှင်ထိုလူသတ်သမား တို့ကိုသုတ်သင်စေ၏။ သူတို့၏မြို့ကိုလည်း မီးရှို့စေ၏။-
"Then the king’s wrath was roused, and he sent his troops and destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.
8 ၈ ထိုနောက်မင်းစေတို့ကိုခေါ်ပြီးလျှင်မင်္ဂလာဆောင် ဧည့်ခံပွဲသည်အသင့်ရှိပြီဖြစ်သော်လည်းဖိတ် ကြားခြင်းခံရသူတို့သည်ထိုပွဲနှင့်မထိုက်မတန် ကြသဖြင့်၊-
"Then he said to his slaves, "‘The wedding-feast indeed is ready, but the invited guests were not worthy.
9 ၉ `လမ်းမကြီးများသို့သွား၍သင်တို့တွေ့ရှိသမျှ သောသူတို့ကိုခေါ်ဖိတ်ကြလော့' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။-
"‘So go out into the partings of the highways, and summon everybody you find there to the wedding-feast.’
10 ၁၀ မင်းစေတို့သည်လမ်းများသို့သွား၍တွေ့ရှိသမျှ သောလူဆိုးလူကောင်းတို့ကိုခေါ်ဆောင်ခဲ့ကြ၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍မင်္ဂလာဆောင်ပွဲခန်းမသည်ဧည့်သည် များဖြင့်ပြည့်၍နေလေ၏။''
"So those slaves went out into the roads, and gathered together all whom they found, good or bad, and the banquet-hall was filled with the guests.
11 ၁၁ ``မင်းကြီးသည်ဧည့်သည်များကိုကြည့်ရှုရန် ကြွလာသောအခါ မင်္ဂလာဆောင်ပွဲထိုင်ဝတ်စုံ ကိုဝတ်ဆင်မထားသူလူတစ်ယောက်ကိုမြင် တော်မူသဖြင့် `အဆွေသင်သည်ပွဲထိုင်ဝတ်စုံ ကိုမဝတ်မဆင်ဘဲအဘယ်ကြောင့်လာပါ သနည်း' ဟုမေးတော်မူ၏။-
"Then the king came in to inspect his guests, and he discovered there a man who had not put on a wedding-garment. He said to him,
"‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding-garment?’ "The man was speechless.
13 ၁၃ ထိုအခါမင်းကြီးကမင်းစေတို့အား `ထိုသူ၏ ခြေလက်တို့ကိုတုပ်နှောင်ပြီးလျှင်အပြင်အမှောင် ထဲသို့ထုတ်လိုက်ကြ။ ထိုနေရာတွင်သူသည် ငိုကြွေးမြည်တမ်း၍အံသွားခဲကြိတ်လျက် နေရလိမ့်မည်' ဟုအမိန့်တော်ရှိ၏'' ဟူ၍ မိန့်တော်မူသည်။
"‘Bind him hand and foot, ‘said the king to his officers, ‘and cast him into the outer darkness; there will be the wailing and the gnashing of teeth.’
14 ၁၄ ထိုနောက်သခင်ယေရှုက ``ဖိတ်ကြားခြင်းခံရ သူတို့မှာများသော်လည်းရွေးကောက်ခြင်းခံရ သူတို့ကားနည်း၏'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူသည်။
"For there are many called, but few are chosen."
15 ၁၅ ထိုနောက်ဖာရိရှဲတို့သည်ထွက်သွားပြီးလျှင် ကိုယ်တော်အားအဘယ်သို့ပရိယာယ်ဆင်၍ မေးမြန်းရမည်ကိုဆွေးနွေးတိုင်ပင်ကြ၏။-
Then the Pharisees went and took counsel how they might ensnare him during conversation.
16 ၁၆ သူတို့သည်မိမိတို့၏တပည့်များကိုဟေရုဒ် ၏ပါတီဝင်အချို့နှင့်အတူအထံတော်သို့ စေလွှတ်ပြီးလျှင် ``ဆရာတော်၊ အရှင်သည်သစ္စာ ရှိတော်မူ၍ဘုရားသခင်၏တရားလမ်းကို ဟုတ်မှန်သည်အတိုင်းသွန်သင်တော်မူပါ၏။ လူ တို့အဘယ်သို့ထင်မြင်ကြသည်ကိုအမှုမ ထားပါ။ လူ့မျက်နှာကိုလည်းထောက်တော်မမူပါ။-
So they sent their disciples to him, with the Herodians. "Teacher," they said, "we know that you are honest, and that you are teaching the way of God in sincerity; and are not afraid of any one, for you do not court men’s favor.
17 ၁၇ သို့ဖြစ်၍အရှင်အဘယ်သို့ထင်မြင်သည်ကို အကျွန်ုပ်တို့အားမိန့်တော်မူပါ။ ရောမဧကရာဇ် ဘုရင်အားအခွန်ဆက်အပ်ပါသလော၊ မဆက် အပ်ပါသလော'' ဟုမေးလျှောက်ကြ၏။
"Give us your advice, then. Is it allowable to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?"
18 ၁၈ သို့ရာတွင်သခင်ယေရှုသည်သူတို့၏ဆိုးညစ် သောအကြံအစည်ကိုသိတော်မူသဖြင့် ``ကြောင် သူတော်တို့၊ သင်တို့သည်အဘယ်ကြောင့်ငါ့အား ပရိယာယ်ဆင်၍မေးမြန်းကြသနည်း။-
And Jesus, because he knew their malice, said.
19 ၁၉ အခွန်တော်ပေးဆောင်ရန်ငွေဒင်္ဂါးတစ်ပြားကို ငါ့အားပြကြလော့'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။ သူတို့သည်ဒေနာရိတစ်ပြားကိုယူခဲ့ကြ၏။-
"Hypocrites! Why are you tempting me? Show me the tribute money." So they brought him a shilling.
20 ၂၀ ကိုယ်တော်က ``ဤရုပ်ပုံ၊ ဤကမ္ပည်းလိပ်စာသည်မည် သူ့ရုပ်ပုံ၊ မည်သူ့ကမ္ပည်းလိပ်စာဖြစ်သနည်း'' ဟု မေးတော်မူ၏။
"Whose likeness and inscription is this?" he asked.
21 ၂၁ သူတို့က ``ဧကရာဇ်၏ရုပ်ပုံ၊ ဧကရာဇ်ဘုရင်ကမ္ပည်း လိပ်စာဖြစ်ပါသည်'' ဟုပြန်လျှောက်ကြ၏။ ထိုအခါကိုယ်တော်က ``ဧကရာဇ်ဘုရင်ပိုင်သည့် အရာကိုဧကရာဇ်ဘုရင်အားဆက်ကြလော့။ ဘုရားသခင်ပိုင်သည့်အရာကိုဘုရားသခင် အားဆက်ကြလော့'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
"Caesar’s," they answered. Then he said to them, "Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s."
22 ၂၂ ထိုသူတို့သည်ထိုစကားကိုကြားလျှင်လွန် စွာအံ့သြကြ၏။ ထိုနောက်ကိုယ်တော်၏ထံမှ ထွက်ခွာသွားကြ၏။
When they heard this they were astonished, and left him and went away.
23 ၂၃ ထိုနေ့၌ပင်ဇဒ္ဒုကဲအချို့တို့သည်အထံတော် သို့လာကြ၏။ သူတို့ကသေခြင်းမှရှင်ပြန် ထမြောက်ခြင်းဟူသည်မရှိဟုခံယူယုံ ကြည်ကြသူများဖြစ်၏။-
That very day there came to him some Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection. and they questioned him.
24 ၂၄ သူတို့က ``ဆရာတော်၊ လူတစ်စုံတစ်ယောက်သည် သားသမီးမရဘဲသေဆုံးသွားလျှင်သူ၏ မုဆိုးမကိုညီဖြစ်သူကဆက်ခံထိမ်းမြားရ မည်။ ရသောသားသမီးများအားဖြင့်အစ်ကို ၏အမျိုးကိုမပြတ်စေရဟုမောရှေမိန့်မှာ ခဲ့ပါ၏။-
"Master," they said, "Moses taught that if a man dies without issue, his brother is to marry the widow, and raise up a family for his brother.
25 ၂၅ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့တွင်ညီအစ်ကိုခုနစ်ယောက်ရှိပါ၏။ အစ်ကိုကြီးသည်အိမ်ထောင်ကျပြီးနောက်သေဆုံး သွားပါ၏။ သားသမီးမရသဖြင့်သူ၏ဇနီးကို ညီဖြစ်သူကဆက်ခံခဲ့ပါ၏။-
"Now there were of our number seven brothers; and the first married and died. As he had no children, he left his wife to his brother;
26 ၂၆ ဒုတိယညီ၊ တတိယညီစသည်ဖြင့်ညီအစ်ကို ခုနစ်ယောက်စလုံးပင်ထိုအမျိုးသမီးနှင့်စုံ ဖက်ပြီးနောက်သားသမီးမရဘဲသေဆုံးကြ ပါ၏။-
"In the same way the second also died, and the third, unto the seventh.
"Last of all the woman died.
28 ၂၈ သို့ဖြစ်၍သေခြင်းမှရှင်ပြန်ထမြောက်ရာနေ့၌ အမျိုးသမီးသည်ညီအစ်ကိုခုနစ်ယောက်အနက် မည်သူ၏ဇနီးဖြစ်ပါမည်နည်း'' ဟုမေးလျှောက် ကြ၏။
"In the resurrection, then, whose wife will she be? They all had her."
29 ၂၉ သခင်ယေရှုက ``သင်တို့သည်ကျမ်းစာတော်ကို နားမလည်ကြ။ ဘုရားသခင်၏တန်ခိုးတော် ကိုလည်းမသိကြ။ သို့ဖြစ်၍အယူလွဲလျက် နေကြ၏။-
In answer Jesus said. "You err because you do not know the Scriptures, nor the power of God.
30 ၃၀ လူတို့သည်သေခြင်းမှရှင်ပြန်ထမြောက်ကြသော အခါထိမ်းမြားစုံဖက်ခြင်းကိုမပြုတော့ပြီ။ သူ တို့သည်ကောင်းကင်တမန်များကဲ့သို့ဖြစ်ကြ လိမ့်မည်။-
"For in the resurrection men do not marry, nor are women given in marriage, but they are like angels in heaven.
31 ၃၁ သေလွန်သူတို့ရှင်ပြန်ထမြောက်ခြင်းရှိရမည် အကြောင်းနှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ `ငါသည်အာဗြဟံ၏ ဘုရား၊ ဣဇက်၏ဘုရား၊ ယာကုပ်၏ဘုရားပေတည်း' ဟုဘုရားသခင်မိန့်တော်မူသည်ကိုသင်တို့မဖတ် ဖူးကြသလော။ ကိုယ်တော်သည်သေလွန်သူတို့၏ ဘုရားမဟုတ်။ ရှင်နေသူတို့၏ဘုရားဖြစ်၏' ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
"But concerning the resurrection of the dead, did you never read what was spoken to you by God,
32 ၃၂
"I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living."
And when the crowds heard it, they were astonished at his teaching.
34 ၃၄ ဇဒ္ဒုကဲတို့မချေပနိုင်အောင်ဤသို့သခင်ယေရှု ဖြေကြားတော်မူလိုက်ကြောင်းကိုဖာရိရှဲတို့ ကြားလျှင်အထံတော်သို့စုရုံးလာကြ၏။-
As soon as the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered themselves together,
35 ၃၅ သူတို့အထဲမှကျမ်းတတ်ဆရာတစ်ယောက် က ``ဆရာတော်၊ ပညတ်ကျမ်းမှာအဘယ်ပညတ် သည်အကြီးမြတ်ဆုံးဖြစ်ပါသနည်း'' ဟုပရိ ယာယ်ဆင်၍မေးလျှောက်လေ၏။-
and one of them, a lawyer, tested him by asking a question.
36 ၃၆
"Master, which is the great commandment in the law?"
37 ၃၇ ကိုယ်တော်က ``သင်၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ကိုစိတ်စွမ်းရှိသမျှ၊ ကိုယ်စွမ်းရှိသမျှ၊ ဉာဏ်စွမ်း ရှိသမျှနှင့်ချစ်ရမည်ဟူသောပညတ်သည်ပထမ အကြီးမြတ်ဆုံးပညတ်ဖြစ်၏။-
Jesus answered, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 ၃၈
"This is the great and first commandment.
39 ၃၉ ဒုတိယအကြီးမြတ်ဆုံးပညတ်ကား၊ အိမ်နီးချင်း ကိုကိုယ်နှင့်အမျှချစ်ရမည်ဟူသောပညတ် ဖြစ်၏။-
"The second, which is like it, is this, "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
40 ၄၀ ဤပညတ်နှစ်ပါးတို့သည်မောရှေ၏ပညတ်ကျမ်း တစ်စောင်လုံးနှင့်ပရောဖက်ကျမ်းများ၏အချုပ် အခြာပင်ဖြစ်သတည်း'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူသည်။
"On those two commandments hang the whole law and the prophets."
41 ၄၁ ဖာရိရှဲတို့စုရုံးမိကြသောအခါသခင်ယေရှု က ``မေရှိယကိုသင်တို့မည်သို့ထင်မြင်ယူဆ ကြသနည်း။ သူသည်မည်သူ၏သားမြေးဖြစ် သနည်း'' ဟုမေးတော်မူ၏။ ထိုသူတို့က ``ဒါဝိဒ်၏သားမြေးဖြစ်ပါသည်'' ဟုလျှောက်ကြလျှင်၊
Now while the Pharisees were together, Jesus put this question to them.
42 ၄၂
"What is your opinion concerning the Christ? Whose Son is he?" "David’s," they answered.
43 ၄၃ ကိုယ်တော်က ``သို့ဖြစ်ပါမူဒါဝိဒ်မင်းသည်သန့်ရှင်း သောဝိညာဉ်တော်၏နှိုးဆော်ချက်ဖြင့်မေရှိယကို အရှင်ဟုအဘယ်ကြောင့်ခေါ်ပါသနည်း။ ဒါဝိဒ်မင်းကြီးက၊
"How then, "he said, "does David in the Spirit call him Lord, saying,
44 ၄၄ `သင့်ရန်သူများကိုသင်၏ခြေဖဝါးအောက်သို့ ရောက်စေရမည်။ ယင်းသို့မရောက်စေသေးမီကာလအတွင်း ငါ၏လက်ယာဘက်တွင်ထိုင်နေလော့ဟု ဘုရားသခင်ကငါ၏အရှင်အားမိန့်တော်မူသည်' ဟုမြွက်ဆိုခဲ့၏။
"The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand Until I put thine enemies beneath thy feet?
45 ၄၅ အကယ်၍ဒါဝိဒ်မင်းသည်မေရှိယကိုအရှင်ဟု ခေါ်ပါမူမေရှိယသည်အဘယ်သို့လျှင်ဒါဝိဒ်၏ သားမြေးဖြစ်နိုင်ပါသနည်း'' ဟုမေးတော်မူ၏။
"If David calls him Lord, how can he be his Son?"
46 ၄၆ ထိုအခါကိုယ်တော်အားမည်သူမျှအဖြေမပေး နိုင်ကြ။ ထိုနေ့မှစ၍မည်သူမျှကိုယ်တော်အား နောက်ထပ်မမေးမြန်းဝံ့တော့ပေ။
No one could answer him a word, nor did any one dare from that day to ask him another question.
