လုကာ 2
1 ၁ ထိုကာလ၌ရောမနိုင်ငံတစ်ဝန်းလုံးရှိလူဦး ရေစာရင်းကိုယူရန် ကဲသာသြဂုတ္တုဘုရင်သည် အမိန့်ထုတ်ပြန်တော်မူ၏။-
And in those days it occurred, that a decree went forth from Augustus Caesar, that all the people of his dominion should be enrolled.
2 ၂ ဤလူဦးရေစာရင်းယူခြင်းသည် ရှုရိပြည် ဘုရင်ခံ၊ ကုရေနိလက်ထက်တွင်ပထမဆုံး အကြိမ်ဖြစ်၏။-
And this enrollment was first made under the presidency of Quirinus in Syria.
And everyone went to his own city to be enrolled.
4 ၄ ယောသပ်သည်လည်းမိမိထိမ်းမြားရန်သစ္စာ ကတိပြုထားသူမာရိနှင့်အတူ ဂါလိလဲပြည် နာဇရက်မြို့မှယုဒပြည်ဗက်လင်မြို့ဟုနာမည် တွင်သောဒါဝိဒ်မင်း၏မြို့သို့သွား၏။ ထိုအခါ မာရိတွင်ကိုယ်ဝန်အရင့်အမာရှိ၏။ ယောသပ် သည်ဒါဝိဒ်မင်း၏အဆက်အနွယ်ဖြစ်သော ကြောင့်ဗက်လင်မြို့သို့သွားခြင်းဖြစ်၏။-
And Joseph also went up from Nazareth of Galilee to Judaea, to the city of David which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David,

with Mary his espoused, then pregnant, to be enrolled.
6 ၆ ဗက်လင်မြို့တွင်ရှိနေကြစဉ်မာရိမျက်နှာမြင် ရန်နေ့လစေ့သဖြင့်သားဦးကိုဖွားမြင်လေ၏။-
And it was while they were there, that the days for her to bring forth were completed.
7 ၇ ဧည့်ရိပ်သာတွင်သူတို့တည်းခိုရန်နေရာမရှိ သောကြောင့် သူငယ်တော်ကိုအနှီးဖြင့်ပတ်၍ နွားစားခွက်တွင်သိပ်ထားကြ၏။
And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in bandages, and laid him in the stall; for they had no place where they could lodge.
8 ၈ ထိုအရပ်ဒေသတွင်သိုးထိန်းအချို့ရှိ၏။ သူ တို့သည်ညအခါကွင်းပြင်များတွင်သိုးများ ကိုစောင့်လျက်နေကြ၏။-
And there were shepherds in that region, who abode there and kept watch of their flocks by night.
9 ၉ ထိုအခါထာဝရဘုရား၏ကောင်းကင်တမန် သည်သူတို့၏ရှေ့မှာပေါ်လာ၏။ သူတို့ပတ်လည် တွင်ထာဝရဘုရား၏ဘုန်းအသရေတော်ထွန်း လင်းတောက်ပလျက်နေသဖြင့် သူတို့သည် အလွန်ကြောက်လန့်ကြ၏။-
And lo, the angel of God came to them, and the glory of the Lord shone upon them: and they feared with great fear.
10 ၁၀ ကောင်းကင်တမန်က ``မကြောက်ကြနှင့်၊ ငါသည် လူအပေါင်းတို့အလွန်ဝမ်းမြောက်စရာသတင်း ကောင်းကိုသင်တို့ထံသို့ယူဆောင်လာ၏။-
And the angel said to them: Fear not; for, behold I announce to you great joy, which will be to all the world.
11 ၁၁ ဒါဝိဒ်မင်း၏မြို့တွင်သခင်ခရစ်တော်တည်း ဟူသောကယ်တင်ရှင်သည်သင်တို့အဖို့ယနေ့ ဖွားမြင်တော်မူပြီ။-
For there is born to you this day a deliverer, who is the Lord Messiah, in the city of David
12 ၁၂ နို့စို့သူငယ်တစ်ဦးကိုအနှီးဖြင့်ပတ်လျက် နွားစားခွက်တွင်သိပ်ထားသည်ကိုသင်တို့ တွေ့မြင်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ဤအခြင်းအရာကို တွေ့မြင်သော်သူငယ်တော်ဖြစ်ကြောင်းသိရှိ နိုင်ကြလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုဆို၏။
And this is the sign for you: Ye will find the babe wrapped in bandages, and placed in a stall.
13 ၁၃ ထိုကောင်းကင်တမန်အနီးတွင်များစွာသော ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေတို့သည်ရုတ်တရက်ပေါ် လာ၍၊ ဘုရားသခင်၏ဂုဏ်ကျေးဇူးတော်ကို ချီးမွမ်းလျက်
And instantly there were seen with the angel, the many hosts of heaven, praising God, and saying:
14 ၁၄ ``ကောင်းကင်ဘဝဂ်ဝယ်ထာဝရဘုရားသခင်သည် ဘုန်းကြီးတော်မူစေသတည်း။ ကမ္ဘာပေါ်တွင်ကိုယ်တော်နှစ်သက်တော်မူသော လူအပေါင်းတို့၌ငြိမ်းချမ်းသာယာခြင်းရှိစေသတည်း'' ဟုမြွက်ဆိုကြ၏။
Glory to God in the highest heavens, and on earth peace and good hope for men.
15 ၁၅ ကောင်းကင်တမန်များကောင်းကင်ဘုံသို့ပြန် သွားကြသောအခါသိုးထိန်းတို့က``ငါတို့ သည်ဗက်လင်မြို့သို့သွားကြကုန်အံ့။ ငါတို့ အားထာဝရဘုရားဖော်ပြတော်မူသော အခြင်းအရာကိုကြည့်ရှုကြကုန်အံ့'' ဟု အချင်းချင်းပြောဆိုကြ၏။
And it was so, that when the angels had gone from them into heaven, the shepherds conferred with one another, and said: Let us go down to Bethlehem, and see this thing which hath occurred, as the Lord hath made known to us.
16 ၁၆ သူတို့သည်အလျင်အမြန်သွား၍မာရိနှင့် ယောသပ်ကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ နွားစားခွက်တွင်သိပ် ထားသောသူငယ်တော်ကိုလည်းကောင်းတွေ့ ကြ၏။-
And they came hastily, and found Mary and Joseph, and the babe laid in the stall.
17 ၁၇ သူငယ်တော်ကိုတွေ့သောအခါသူငယ်တော်နှင့် စပ်လျဉ်း၍ မိမိတို့ကြားသိခဲ့သောအကြောင်း အရာများကိုပြောကြားကြ၏။-
And when they saw, they made known the information which was given to them concerning the child.
And all that heard, wondered at the things that were told them by the shepherds.
19 ၁၉ သို့သော်မာရိသည်အကြောင်းအရာအလုံးစုံ တို့ကိုမှတ်ကျုံးကာစဉ်းစားဆင်ခြင်လျက်နေ ၏။-
And Mary laid up all these things, and pondered them in her heart.
20 ၂၀ သိုးထိန်းတို့သည်ကောင်းကင်တမန်ဖော်ပြသည့် အတိုင်းတွေ့မြင်ကြားသိရသဖြင့် ဘုရား သခင်၏ဘုန်းအသရေတော်ကိုချီးကူး လျက်ပြန်သွားကြ၏။
And the shepherds returned glorifying and praising God for all that they had seen and heard, as it was told them.
21 ၂၁ သူငယ်တော်ရှစ်ရက်သားရှိ၍အရေဖျားလှီး မင်္ဂလာခံယူရန်အချိန်စေ့သောအခါ သူ့အား ယေရှုဟုနာမည်မှည့်ကြ၏။ ဤနာမည်ကား သူငယ်တော်ပဋိသန္ဓေမနေမီကပင် ကောင်းကင် တမန်ကမှည့်ခေါ်စေသည့်နာမည်ဖြစ်၏။
And when the eight days for the circumcision of the child were completed, his name was called JESUS; as he was named by the angel, before he was conceived in the womb
22 ၂၂ မောရှေ၏ပညတ်ပြဋ္ဌာန်းချက်အရမိဘ နှစ်ပါးတို့သည်သန့်စင်ခြင်းမင်္ဂလာကိုပြု ရန်အချိန်ရောက်လာသဖြင့် သူငယ်တော်ကို ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့ခေါ်သွား၍ထာဝရ ဘုရားအားဆက်ကပ်ကြ၏။-
And when the days of their purification were completed, according to the law of Moses, they carried him to Jerusalem, to present him before the Lord:
(as it is written in the law of the Lord, that every male opening the womb shall be called holy to the Lord: )
24 ၂၄ ချိုးနှစ်ကောင်ကိုဖြစ်စေ၊ ခိုငယ်နှစ်ကောင်ကို ဖြစ်စေပူဇော်ရမည်ဟူ၍လည်ကောင်း ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ပညတ်တော်တွင်ဖော်ပြပါရှိသည်နှင့် အညီဆက်ကပ်ပူဇော်ကြ၏။
and to offer a sacrifice, according as it is written in the law of the Lord, A pair of turtle-doves, or two young pigeons.
25 ၂၅ ထိုအခါ၌ယေရုရှလင်မြို့တွင်ရှုမောင်နာမည် ရှိသောလူတစ်ယောက်ရှိ၏။ သူသည်ဘုရားတရား ကြည်ညိုသောသူတော်ကောင်းတစ်ဦးဖြစ်၏။ ဣသ ရေလလူမျိုးတို့ကယ်တင်ခြင်းကိုရရှိရန်စောင့် မျှော်နေသူတည်း။ သန့်ရှင်းသောဝိညာဉ်တော်သည် သူနှင့်အတူရှိ၏။-
And there was a certain man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon. This man was upright and just, and was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
26 ၂၆ ``သင်သည်ဘုရားသခင်ကတိထားတော်မူသော မေရှိယကိုမဖူးမမြင်ရမီမသေရ'' ဟုသန့်ရှင်း သောဝိညာဉ်တော်အားဖြင့်ဗျာဒိတ်ကိုခံယူရရှိ သူလည်းဖြစ်၏။-
And it had been told him by the Holy Spirit, that he would not see death, until he should see the Messiah of the Lord.
27 ၂၇ သူသည်ဝိညာဉ်တော်နှိုးဆော်ခြင်းခံရသဖြင့် ဗိမာန်တော်ထဲသို့ဝင်လေသည်။ ပညတ်တရား အရဆောင်ရွက်စရာဝတ်ကိုဆောင်ရွက်ရန် မိဘ နှစ်ပါးတို့သည်သူငယ်တော်အားဗိမာန်တော် သို့ခေါ်ခဲ့ကြသောအခါ၊-
This man came, by the Spirit, into the temple; and when his parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him as is commanded in the law,
he took him in his arms, and blessed God, and said:
29 ၂၉ ထာဝရဘုရား၊ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်၏ကတိတော် ပြည့်စုံပြီးဖြစ်၍၊ ကိုယ်တော်ရှင့်ကျွန်သည်ငြိမ်သက်စွာ စုတေခွင့်ကိုပေးတော်မူပါ။
My Lord, now release thou thy servant in peace, as thou hast said:
30 ၃၀ လူမျိုးခြားတို့အားကိုယ်တော်ရှင်၏အလိုတော်ကို ဖော်ပြသောအလင်းဖြစ်စေရန်နှင့်၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏လူစုတော်ဖြစ်သောဣသရေလသည် ဂုဏ်အသရေထွန်းလင်းလာစေရန်၊ လူမျိုးအပေါင်းတို့ ရှေ့မှောက်တွင် ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်အသင့်ပြင်ဆင်ထားတော်မူသော ကယ်တင်ခြင်းကျေးဇူးကို၊အကျွန်ုပ်သည်ဒိဋ္ဌတွေ့ မြင် ရပါပြီ'' ဟုမြွက်ဆို၏။
for lo, my eyes have seen thy mercy,
31 ၃၁
which thou hast prepared in the presence of all nations,
32 ၃၂
a light for a revelation to the Gentiles, and a glory for thy people Israel.
33 ၃၃ မိဘတို့သည်သူငယ်တော်နှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ ရှုမောင်ပြောဆိုသောစကားများကိုကြား သောအခါအံ့သြကြ၏။-
And Joseph and his mother were astonished at those things which were spoken concerning him.
34 ၃၄ ရှုမောင်သည်သူတို့ကိုကောင်းချီးပေး၍ ``ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့တွင် ပျက်စီးဆုံးရှုံးရသူများနှင့် ကယ်တင်ခြင်းကိုခံရသူများပေါ်ပေါက်လာစေရန် ဤသူငယ်ကိုဘုရားသခင်ရွေးချယ်ခန့်ထားတော် မူပြီ။ သူသည်ဘုရားသခင်၏နိမိတ်လက္ခဏာ ဖြစ်၍သူ့အားလူအများပင်ဆန့်ကျင်ပြောဆို ကြခြင်းဖြင့်၊-
And Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary his mother: Behold, this child is set forth for the fall and for the rising of many in Israel, and for a standard of contention;
35 ၃၅ မိမိတို့၏စိတ်နှလုံးအကြံအစည်များကို ပေါ်လွင်စေကြလိမ့်မည်။ သင်၏အသည်းနှလုံး သည်သန်လျက်ဖြင့်အခွင်းခံရသကဲ့သို့ဖြစ် လိမ့်မည်'' ဟုမယ်တော်မာရိအားမြွက်ဆို၏။
(and also a dart will pierce thy own soul); that the thoughts of the hearts of many may be disclosed.
36 ၃၆ အာရှာအနွယ်ဝင်၊ ဖနွေလ၏သမီး၊ အန္နနာမည် ရှိသောအမျိုးသမီးပရောဖက်တစ်ပါးရှိ၏။ သူသည်များစွာအသက်အရွယ်ကြီးရင့်သူ ဖြစ်၏။ ငယ်ရွယ်စဉ်တွင်အိမ်ထောင်ကျ၍ခုနစ် နှစ်မျှခင်ပွန်းဖြစ်သူနှင့်ပေါင်းသင်းရ၏။-
And Hanna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher, she also was aged in days, and, from her maidenhood, had lived seven years with her husband,
37 ၃၇ ထိုနောက်အသက်ရှစ်ဆယ့်လေးနှစ်တိုင်အောင်မုဆိုး မဘဝနှင့်နေ၏။ သူသည်ဆုတောင်းပတ္ထနာပြု၍ အစာရှောင်လျက် နေ့ညမလပ်ဘုရားဝတ်၌ မွေ့လျော်ကာဗိမာန်တော်ထဲမှမထွက်မခွာ ဘဲနေ၏။-
and was a widow of about eighty and four years, and departed not from the temple, but worshipped by day and by night with fasting and prayer;
38 ၃၈ သူငယ်တော်ကိုဆက်ကပ်သည့်အချိန်၌ထို အမျိုးသမီးသည်ရောက်လာပြီးလျှင် ဘုရား သခင်၏ဂုဏ်ကျေးဇူးတော်ကိုချီးကူး၏။ ထို နောက်ယေရုရှလင်မြို့ကိုကယ်တင်တော်မူ လိမ့်မည်ဟု စောင့်မျှော်နေကြကုန်သောလူ အပေါင်းတို့အားသူငယ်တော်၏အကြောင်း ကိုပြောဆို၏။
and she too stood up, in that hour, and gave thanks to the Lord, and spoke of him to every one that waited for the redemption of Jerusalem.
39 ၃၉ မိဘနှစ်ပါးတို့သည်ထာဝရဘုရား၏ပညတ် တော်ပြဋ္ဌာန်းချက်ရှိသမျှကိုဆောင်ရွက်ကြ ပြီးနောက် ဂါလိလဲပြည်၊ နာဇရက်မြို့ဟု ခေါ်သောမိမိတို့၏ဌာနေသို့ပြန်ကြ၏။-
And when they had accomplished all things, according to the law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their city Nazareth.
40 ၄၀ သူငယ်တော်သည်ကြီးပြင်းသန်စွမ်းလာ၏။ ဉာဏ်ပညာတိုးတက်လာ၏။ ဘုရားသခင်၏ ကျေးဇူးတော်ကိုခံစားလျက်နေ၏။
And the child grew, and was strengthened in spirit, and was filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon him.
41 ၄၁ သူငယ်တော်၏မိဘတို့သည်နှစ်စဉ်ပသခါ ပွဲတော်ခံချိန်၌ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့သွားလေ့ ရှိကြ၏။-
And his people went up to Jerusalem every year, at the feast of the passover.
42 ၄၂ သူငယ်တော်သည်အသက်တစ်ဆယ့်နှစ်နှစ် ရှိသောအခါ၌လည်း ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့ သွားကြ၏။-
And when he was twelve years old, they went up to the feast, as they were accustomed.
43 ၄၃ ပွဲတော်ပြီးဆုံးချိန်၌အိမ်သို့ပြန်ကြ၏။ ထို အခါသူငယ်တော်သည်ယေရုရှလင်မြို့မှာ နေရစ်၏။ ထိုသို့နေရစ်သည်ကိုမိဘများ မသိကြ။-
And when the days were completed, they returned: but the child Jesus remained at Jerusalem, and Joseph and his mother knew not of it;
44 ၄၄ ခရီးသည်လူစုထဲတွင်ပါလာလိမ့်မည်ဟု ထင်မှတ်ကြ၏။ တစ်နေ့ခရီးပြုကြပြီးမှ ဆွေမျိုးအသိအကျွမ်းများထဲတွင်သူငယ် တော်ကိုရှာကြ၏။-
for they supposed he was with his companions. And when they had travelled a day's journey, they sought him among their people, and inquired of every one that knew them.
45 ၄၅ မတွေ့သဖြင့်ယောသပ်နှင့်မာရိသည်ယေရုရှလင် မြို့သို့ပြန်၍ရှာကြ၏။ တတိယနေ့တွင်သူငယ် တော်ကိုဗိမာန်တော်အတွင်းမှာတွေ့ကြ၏။-
And they did not find him. And they returned again to Jerusalem, searching for him.
46 ၄၆ သူသည်ယုဒဆရာတော်များနှင့်အတူထိုင် ကာသူတို့၏တရားစကားများကိုကြားနာ လျက်၊ သူတို့နှင့်ဆွေးနွေးမေးမြန်းလျက်နေ၏။-
And after three days, they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, and listening to them, and asking them questions.
47 ၄၇ သူငယ်တော်၏စကားကိုကြားကြသောသူ အပေါင်းတို့သည်သူ၏အသိပညာနှင့်ဖြေ ကြားချက်များကိုအံ့သြကြ၏။-
And all they that heard him, were astonished at his wisdom and his answers.
48 ၄၈ ယောသပ်နှင့်မာရိတို့သည်တွေ့လျှင်အံ့အားသင့် ကြ၏။ ထိုနောက်မယ်တော်က ``ငါ့သား၊ သင်သည် အဘယ်ကြောင့်ငါတို့ကိုဤသို့ပြုပါသနည်း။ သင့်ဖခင်နှင့်ငါသည်စိုးရိမ်ကြီးစွာဖြင့်ရှာခဲ့ ရ၏'' ဟုပြော၏။
And when they saw him they were amazed. And his mother said to him: My son, why hast thou done so to us? For lo, I and thy father have been seeking for thee with great anxiety.
49 ၄၉ သူငယ်တော်က ``အဘယ်ကြောင့်အကျွန်ုပ်ကိုရှာ ကြပါသနည်း။ အကျွန်ုပ်သည်ခမည်းတော်၏အိမ် တွင်ရှိနေရမည်ကိုမသိကြပါသလော'' ဟု ပြန်ပြော၏။-
He said to them: Why did ye seek me? Do ye not know, that it behooveth me to be in my Father's house?
But they did not comprehend the word that he spoke to them.
51 ၅၁ ထိုနောက်သူငယ်တော်သည်မိဘတို့နှင့်အတူ လိုက်၍ နာဇရက်မြို့သို့ရောက်သော်မိဘတို့၏ စကားကိုနာခံလျက်နေ၏။ မယ်တော်သည်ဤ အဖြစ်အပျက်အလုံးစုံတို့ကိုစိတ်နှလုံးထဲ မှာမှတ်ကျုံးထား၏။-
And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was obedient to them. And his mother laid up all these things in her heart.
52 ၅၂ သူငယ်တော်ယေရှုသည်ကာယညာဏကြီး ပွားတိုးတက်လျက်ဘုရားသခင့်ရှေ့၊ လူတို့ ရှေ့တွင်မျက်နှာပွင့်လန်းတော်မူ၏။
And Jesus increased in stature, and in wisdom, and in grace, before God and men.
