ယေရမိ 6
1 ၁ ဗင်္ယာမိန်ပြည်သားတို့၊ ဘေးမဲ့လုံခြုံရာသို့ပြေး ကြလော့။ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့မှထွက်သွားကြလော့။ တေကောရွာ၌တံပိုးခရာကိုမှုတ်ကြလော့။ ဗေသက္ကရင်ရွာတွင်အချက်ပြမီးရှူးတိုင်ကို မြှောက်တင်ကြလော့။ ဘေးအန္တရာယ်နှင့်ပျက်စီး ခြင်းသည်မြောက်အရပ်မှရောက်ရှိလာတော့ မည်။-
Strengthen yourselves, you children of Benjamin, [to flee] out of the midst of Jerusalem, and sound an alarm with the trumpet in Thecue, and set up a signal over Baethacharma: for evil threatens from the north, and a great destruction is coming.
And [your] pride, O daughter of Sion, shall be taken away.
3 ၃ သိုးထိန်းများသည်မိမိတို့သိုးများနှင့်ထို အရပ်တွင်စခန်းချကြလိမ့်မည်။ သူတို့သည် မိမိတို့တဲရှင်များကိုသင်၏ပတ်လည်တွင် ထိုးပြီးလျှင် မိမိတို့အသီးသီးအလိုရှိ ရာတွင်စခန်းချကြလိမ့်မည်။-
The shepherds and their flocks shall come to her; and they shall pitch [their] tents against her round about, and shall feed [their flocks] each with his hand.
4 ၄ သူတို့က``ယေရုရှလင်မြို့ကိုတိုက်ခိုက်ရန် အသင့်ပြင်ထားကြလော့။ မွန်းတည့်ချိန်၌ ငါတို့တိုက်ခိုက်ကြကုန်အံ့'' ဟုဆိုကြ၏။ သို့ ရာတွင်သူတို့က ``ကနေ့အချိန်ကုန်လွန် တော့မည်။ ညနေစောင်းကျချိန်ရောက်ပြီ ဖြစ်၍ယခုနောက်ကျသွားပေပြီ။-
Prepare yourselves for war against her; rise up, and let us go up against her at noon. Woe to us! for the day has gone down, for the shadows of the day fail.
5 ၅ ညဥ့်အခါငါတို့တိုက်ခိုက်ကြကုန်အံ့။ ယေရု ရှလင်မြို့ခံတပ်များကိုဖြိုဖျက်ကြကုန်အံ့'' ဟုဆိုကြ၏။
Rise, and let us go up against her by night, and destroy her foundations.
6 ၆ အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ဤ ဘုရင်တို့အားယေရုရှလင်မြို့ကိုဝိုင်းရံ ထားနိုင်ရန်သစ်ပင်များကိုခုတ်လှဲ၍ မြေ ကတုတ်များကိုဖို့စေခြင်းငှာအမိန့်ပေး တော်မူလေပြီ။ ကိုယ်တော်က``ဤမြို့သည် ညှင်းပန်းနှိပ်စက်မှုနှင့်ပြည့်နှက်လျက်ရှိ သဖြင့်ငါသည်ဤမြို့ကိုဒဏ်ခတ်မည်။-
For thus says the Lord, Hew down her trees, array a numerous force against Jerusalem. O false city; [there is] all oppression in her.
7 ၇ စမ်းရေတွင်းမှရေသည်အစဉ်စီးထွက်လျက် ရှိသကဲ့သို့ယေရုရှလင်မြို့မှမကောင်းမှု များသည်အစဉ်ယိုစီးလျက်နေ၏။ မြို့ထဲ ၌အကြမ်းဖက်မှု၊ လုယက်ဖျက်ဆီးမှုတို့ ကိုငါကြားရ၍ဖျားနာမှုနှင့်ဒဏ်ရာ ဒဏ်ချက်များကိုငါမြင်ရ၏။-
As a cistern cools water, so her wickedness cools her, ungodliness and misery shall be heard in her, [as] continually before her.
8 ၈ အို ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သားတို့၊ သင်တို့သည်ဤ အမှုအရာများမှသင်ခန်းစာယူကြလော့။ သို့မဟုတ်ပါမူငါသည်သင်တို့အားအစဉ် စွန့်ပစ်မည်။ သင်တို့မြို့ကိုလူသူကင်းမဲ့ရာ သွေ့ခြောက်သောဒေသအဖြစ်သို့ငါပြောင်း လဲစေမည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
You shall be chastened, O Jerusalem, with pain and the scourge, lest my soul depart from you; lest I make you a desert land, which shall not be inhabited.
9 ၉ အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်ထာဝရဘုရားက ငါ့ အား``စပျစ်ဥယျာဉ်မှစပျစ်သီးရှိသမျှ ကိုအကြွင်းအကျန်မရှိအောင်ဆွတ်ခူးသကဲ့ သို့၊ ဣသရေလပြည်မှလူအကြွင်းအကျန် မရှိစေရ။ သို့ဖြစ်၍သင်သည်အချိန်ရှိခိုက် ကယ်ဆယ်၍ရနိုင်သမျှဣသရေလအမျိုး သားတို့အားကယ်ဆယ်ရမည်ဟုမိန့်တော် မူ၏။
For thus says the Lord, Glean, glean thoroughly as a vine the remnant of Israel: turn back [your hands] as a grape-gatherer to his basket.
10 ၁၀ ငါကလည်း``အကယ်၍ကျွန်တော်မျိုးပြော ဆိုသတိပေးသော် အဘယ်သူသည်ကျွန်တော် မျိုး၏စကားကိုနားထောင်ပါမည်နည်း။ သူ တို့သည်နားများကိုပိတ်၍ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်၏ ဗျာဒိတ်တော်ကိုနာခံရန်ငြင်းဆိုလျက် ကိုယ် တော်ရှင်၏နှုတ်ကပတ်တော်ကိုပြက်ရယ်ပြု ကြပါ၏။-
To whom shall I speak, and testify, that he may listen? behold, your ears are uncircumcised, and they shall not be able to hear: behold, the word of the Lord is become to them a reproach, they will not at all desire it.
11 ၁၁ အို ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကျွန်တော်မျိုးသည်ကိုယ် တော်ရှင်၏အမျက်တော်နှင့်ပြည့်လျက်ရှိ သဖြင့် မျိုသိပ်၍ပင်မထားနိုင်တော့ပါ'' ဟုပြန်လည်လျှောက်ထား၏။ ထိုအခါ ထာဝရဘုရားက``ငါ၏အမျက် တော်ကိုလမ်းများပေါ်ရှိကလေးသူငယ်တို့ အပေါ်သို့လည်းကောင်း၊ လူငယ်လူရွယ်အစု အဝေးများပေါ်သို့လည်းကောင်းသွန်းလောင်း လော့။ ဇနီးမောင်နှံများနှင့်အလွန်အိုမင်းသူ များသည်ချမ်းသာရာရကြလိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်။ သူတို့၏အိမ်များ၊ လယ်ယာများနှင့်အမျိုး သမီးများသည်သူတစ်ပါးလက်သို့ရောက်ရှိ ရကြလိမ့်မည်။ ငါသည်ဤပြည်မှလူတို့ကို လက်တော်ကိုဆန့်လျက်အပြစ်ဒဏ်ပေးတော် မူမည်။-
And I allowed my wrath to come to full, yet I kept [it] in, and did not utterly destroy them: I will pour it out on the children without, and on the assembly of young men together: for man and woman shall be taken together, the old man with him that is full of days.
12 ၁၂
And their houses shall be turned to others, [with] their fields and their wives together: for I will stretch out my hand upon the inhabitants of this land, says the Lord.
13 ၁၃ ကြီးငယ်မဟူလူအပေါင်းတို့သည်မတရား စီးပွားရှာကြ၏။ ပရောဖက်များနှင့်ယဇ်ပု ရောဟိတ်များပင်လျှင်လူတို့ကိုလှည့်ဖြား ကြ၏။-
For from the least of them even to the greatest they have all committed iniquity; from the priest even to the false prophet they have all wrought falsely.
14 ၁၄ ထိုသူတို့သည်ငါ့လူမျိုးတော်၏အနာများ ကိုပေါ့ပေါ့တန်တန်သဘောထား၍ကုသ ကြ၏။ `အစစအရာရာအဆင်မပြေချိန် ၌အစစအရာရာအဆင်ပြေပါသည်' ဟုဆိုကြ၏။-
And they healed the breach of my people [imperfectly], making light [of it], and saying, Peace, peace, and where is peace?
15 ၁၅ သူတို့သည်စက်ဆုတ်သည့်အမှုတို့ကိုပြုကျင့် သည့်အတွက်ရှက်ကြပါသလော။ အလျှင်း မရှက်ကြ။ ရှက်သွေးရောင်ပင်မသန်းကြ။ သို့ ဖြစ်၍သူတို့သည်အခြားသူများနည်းတူ ပြိုလဲရကြလိမ့်မည်။ ငါအပြစ်ဒဏ်ခတ်သော အခါသူတို့သည်ဆုံးခန်းသို့ရောက်ကြလိမ့် မည်။ ဤကားငါထာဝရဘုရားမြွက်ဟ သည့်စကားဖြစ်၏'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
They were ashamed because they failed; yet they were not ashamed as those who are [truly] ashamed, and they knew not their own disgrace: therefore shall they [utterly] fall when they do fall, and in the time of visitation shall they perish, said the Lord.
16 ၁၆ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်မိမိ၏လူမျိုးတော် အား``လမ်းဆုံလမ်းခွတို့တွင်ရပ်၍ကြည့် ကြလော့။ ရှေးလမ်းဟောင်းတို့ကိုစုံစမ်း ရှာဖွေကြလော့။ အကောင်းဆုံးသောလမ်း အဘယ်မှာနည်းဟုမေးမြန်း၍ ထိုလမ်းသို့ လိုက်လျှင်သင်တို့၏ဝိညာဉ်သည်ငြိမ်းချမ်း သာယာမှုရှိလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။ သို့ရာတွင်သူတို့က``ထိုလမ်းကို အကျွန်ုပ် တို့မလိုက်လိုပါ'' ဟုပြန်ပြောကြ၏။
Thus says the Lord, Stand you in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths of the Lord; and see what is the good way, and walk in it, and you shall find purification for your souls. But they said, We will not walk [in them].
17 ၁၇ တံပိုးခရာမှုတ်၍သတိပေးသံကိုနား ထောင်ရန် ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ကင်းစောင့်များ ကိုခန့်ထားတော်မူ၏။ သို့ရာတွင်ထိုသူတို့ က``အကျွန်ုပ်တို့နားမထောင်လိုပါ'' ဟု ဆိုကြ၏။
I have set watchmen over you, [saying], Hear you the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hear [it].
18 ၁၈ ထို့ကြောင့်ထာဝရဘုရားက``အချင်းလူမျိုး တကာတို့၊ နားထောင်ကြလော့။ အချင်းသက်သေ အပေါင်းတို့၊ ငါ၏လူမျိုးတော်ကြုံတွေ့ရမည့် ကံကြမ္မာကိုလေ့လာကြလော့။-
Therefore have the nations heard, and they that feed their flocks.
19 ၁၉ ကမ္ဘာမြေကြီးသားတို့၊ နားထောင်ကြလော့။ ဤ လူတို့သည်ငါ့စကားကိုမနာယူ၊ ငါ၏သြ ဝါဒကိုလည်းပစ်ပယ်ကြ၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ငါ သည်သူတို့ခံယူထိုက်သည့်ဘေးအန္တရာယ် ဆိုးကိုသူတို့အပေါ်သို့သက်ရောက်စေမည်။-
Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evils upon this people, [even] the fruit of their rebellions; for they have not heeded my words, and they have rejected my law.
20 ၂၀ ရှေဘပြည်မှသူတို့ယူဆောင်လာသောလော်ဗန် ကိုသော်လည်းကောင်း၊ ဝေးလံရပ်ခြားမှယူဆောင် လာသည့်နံ့သာပေါင်းကိုသော်လည်းကောင်းငါ အလိုမရှိ။ သူတို့၏ပူဇော်သကာများကိုငါ လက်မခံ၊ သူတို့ယဇ်ပူဇော်ခြင်းများကိုငါ မနှစ်သက်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။-
Therefore do you bring me frankincense from Saba, and cinnamon from a land afar off? your whole burnt offerings are not acceptable, and your sacrifices have not been pleasant to me.
21 ၂၁ သို့ဖြစ်၍ငါသည်ဤလူတို့ရှေ့တွင်ခလုတ် များချထားသဖြင့် ခြေချော်၍လဲစေမည်။ ဖခင်များနှင့်သားများသည်လည်းကောင်း မိတ်ဆွေများနှင့်အိမ်နီးချင်းများသည် လည်းကောင်းသေရကြလိမ့်မည်'' ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
Therefore thus says the Lord, Behold, I [will] bring weakness upon this people, and the fathers and sons shall be weak together; the neighbour and his friend shall perish.
22 ၂၂ ထာဝရဘုရားက``မြောက်အရပ်ရှိနိုင်ငံတစ် ခုမှ လူတို့သည် ချီတက်လာကြလိမ့်မည်။ ရပ် ဝေးမှအင်အားကြီးမားသည့်လူမျိုးသည် စစ်တိုက်ရန်ပြင်ဆင်လျက်နေ၏။-
Thus says the Lord, Behold, a people comes from the north, and nations shall be stirred up from the end of the earth.
23 ၂၃ သူတို့သည်လေးများ၊ လှံများကိုစွဲကိုင်ကြ လေပြီ။ သူတို့သည်ရက်စက်ကြမ်းကြုတ်၍ သနားကရုဏာကင်းမဲ့သူများဖြစ်ကြ၏။ မြင်းများကိုစီး၍လာချိန်၌သူတို့၏အသံ သည်ပင်လယ်မြည်ဟည်းသံနှင့်တူ၏။ သူတို့ သည်ဇိအုန်မြို့ကိုတိုက်ခိုက်ရန်အသင့်ရှိ လေပြီ။''
They shall lay hold on bow and spear; [the people] is fierce, and will have no mercy; their voice is as the roaring sea; they shall array themselves for war against you as fire on horses and chariots, O daughter of Sion.
24 ၂၄ ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သားတို့က``ဤသတင်းကို ငါတို့ကြားသောအခါ ငါတို့၏လက်များ သည်ပျော့ခွေ၍သွားပါ၏။ ငါတို့သည်သား ဖွားသောအမျိုးသမီးကဲ့သို့ပြင်းစွာ ဝေဒနာခံရကြပါ၏။-
We have heard the report of them: our hands are weakened: anguish has seized us, the pangs as of a woman in travail.
25 ၂၅ ရန်သူတို့သည်လက်နက်များကိုစွဲကိုင်လျက် ငါတို့အားဘေးအန္တရာယ်ဝိုင်း၍နေသဖြင့် ငါ တို့သည်ကျေးလက်များသို့မထွက်ဝံ့။ လမ်း များပေါ်တွင်လည်းမလျှောက်ဝံ့'' ဟုဆိုကြ၏။
Go not forth into the field, and walk not in the ways; for the sword of the enemy lingers round about.
26 ၂၆ ထာဝရဘုရားက မိမိလူမျိုးတော်အား``သင် တို့သည်လျှော်တေကိုဝတ်၍ပြာထဲ၌လူးလှိမ့် ကြလော့။ တစ်ဦးတည်းသောသားအတွက် ငိုကြွေး မြည်တမ်းသကဲ့သို့ဝမ်းနည်းပက်လက်ငိုကြွေး ကြလော့။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်သင်တို့အား သုတ်သင်ဖျက်ဆီးရန်လာသူသည် ရုတ်တရက် ဝင်ရောက်တိုက်ခိုက်မည်ဖြစ်သောကြောင့်တည်း။-
O daughter of my people, gird yourself with sackcloth: sprinkle [yourself] with ashes; make for yourself pitiable lamentation, [as] the mourning for a beloved [son]: for misery will come suddenly upon you.
27 ၂၇ အချင်းယေရမိ၊ ငါ့လူမျိုးတော်ကိုသတ္တု အားဆန်းစစ်သကဲ့သို့သူတို့၏အကျင့် အကြံများကိုသိစေရန်ဆန်းစစ်၍ကြည့် လော့။-
I have caused you to be tried amongst tried nations, and you shall know me when I have tried their way.
28 ၂၈ သူတို့အားလုံးပင်ခေါင်းမာသည့်သူပုန် များဖြစ်ကြ၏။ သူတို့သည်ကြေးဝါကဲ့ သို့လည်းကောင်း၊ သံကဲ့သို့လည်းကောင်းမာ ကြောကြ၏။ သူတို့သည်လှည့်လည်သွားလာ ၍ကုန်းချောတတ်ကြ၏။ အကျင့်ပျက်သူ များဖြစ်ကြ၏။-
[They are] all disobedient, walking perversely: [they are] brass and iron; they are all corrupted.
29 ၂၉ သတ္တုကျိုရာမီးဖိုကြီးသည်အပူရှိန်ပြင်း ၍လာသော်လည်း သတ္တုချေးများသည်အရည် မပျော်၊ စီးမထွက်ဘဲနေသဖြင့်ငါ၏လူမျိုး တော်အားချေးညှော်ကိုဆက်လက်၍ချွတ် နေပါသော်လည်းအကျိုးမရှိ။ အဘယ် ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်ဆိုးညစ်သူတို့ကိုထုတ် ပစ်၍မရသောကြောင့်ဖြစ်၏။-
The bellows have failed from the fire, the lead has failed: the silversmith works at his trade in vain; their wickedness is not consumed.
30 ၃၀ ငါထာဝရဘုရားသည်သူတို့အားပစ်ပယ် လိုက်လေပြီ။ ထို့ကြောင့်သူတို့ကိုအပယ်ခံ ငွေချော်မြှုပ်ဟူ၍ခေါ်ရမည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော် မူ၏။
Call you them reprobate silver, because the Lord has rejected them.
