ဟေရှာယ 39
1 ၁ ထိုအချိန်ကာလလောက်၌ပင်ဗာလဒန်၏ သားဗာဗုလုန်ဘုရင်မေရောဒပ္ဗာလဒန်သည် ဟေဇကိမင်းဖျားနာလျက်ရှိကြောင်းကြား သိရသဖြင့်၊ သဝဏ်လွှာတစ်စောင်နှင့်လက် ဆောင်ပဏ္ဏာပေးပို့ဆက်သလေ၏။-
At that time Merodach-baladan the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent a letter and a present to Hezekiah; for he heard that he had been sick, and was recovered.
2 ၂ ဟေဇကိသည်စေတမန်တို့ကိုလက်ခံပြီး လျှင် မိမိ၏ဘဏ္ဍာတော်များဖြစ်သည့် ရွှေ၊ ငွေ၊ နံ့သာမျိုး၊ နံ့သာဆီနှင့်လက်နက်ကိရိယာ ရှိသမျှတို့ကိုပြ၏။ ပစ္စည်းသိုလှောင်ခန်းများ နှင့်နိုင်ငံတော်အရပ်ရပ်တို့တွင်ထိုသူတို့ အားမင်းကြီးမပြသည့်အရာတစ်စုံ တစ်ခုမျှမရှိ။-
And Hezekiah was glad of them, and showed them his treasure-house, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious oil, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures; there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah showed them not.
3 ၃ ထိုနောက်ဟေရှာယသည်ဟေဇကိမင်းထံ သွား၍``ထိုသူတို့သည်အဘယ်အရပ်မှလာ ပါသနည်း။ သူတို့ကအရှင့်အားအဘယ် သို့ပြောဆိုကြပါသနည်း'' ဟုမေး၏။ ဟေဇကိက``သူတို့သည်အလွန်ဝေးသော ဗာဗုလုန်ပြည်မှလာပါသည်'' ဟုဆိုလျှင်၊
Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him: 'What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee?' And Hezekiah said: 'They are come from a far country unto me, even from Babylon.'
4 ၄ ``သူတို့သည်နန်းတော်တွင်း၌အဘယ်အရာ များကိုတွေ့မြင်သွားကြပါသနည်း'' ဟု မေးမြန်း၏။ ဟေဇကိက``သူတို့သည်နန်းတော်တွင်း၌ရှိ သမျှသောအရာတို့ကိုတွေ့မြင်ကြပါ၏။ ပစ္စည်းသိုလှောင်ခန်းများတွင်သူတို့အားငါ မပြသောအရာတစ်စုံတစ်ခုမျှမရှိ'' ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
Then said he: 'What have they seen in thy house?' And Hezekiah answered: 'All that is in my house have they seen; there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them.'
5 ၅ ထိုအခါဟေရှာယသည်မင်းကြီးအား၊ ``အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့် တော်မူသည်ကိုကြားနာလော့၊-
Then said Isaiah to Hezekiah: 'Hear the word of the LORD of hosts:
6 ၆ အရှင့်နန်းတော်တွင်ရှိသမျှသောအရာတို့ ကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ ယနေ့တိုင်အောင်အရှင့်ဘိုး ဘေးတို့စုဆောင်းထားရှိခဲ့သည့်ပစ္စည်းဥစ္စာ မှန်သမျှကိုလည်းကောင်း ဗာဗုလုန်ပြည်သို့ ဆောင်ယူသွားရာနေ့ရက်ကာလရောက်ရှိ လာလိမ့်မည်။ အဘယ်အရာတစ်စုံတစ်ခု မျှကျန်ရစ်လိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်။-
Behold, the days come, that all that is in thy house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon; nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.
7 ၇ အရှင့်သားမြေးအရင်းအချာအချို့တို့ သည်လည်းအဖမ်းခံရလျက် ဗာဗုလုန်ဘုရင် ၏နန်းတော်တွင်မိန်းမစိုးများအဖြစ်ဖြင့် အမှုထမ်းရကြလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုလျှောက်လေ သည်။
And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, whom thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be officers in the palace of the king of Babylon.'
8 ၈ ဤလျှောက်ထားချက်ကိုဟေဇကိမင်းသည် မိမိ၏လက်ထက်၌ငြိမ်းချမ်းမှုနှင့်ဘေးမဲ့ လုံခြုံမှုရှိလိမ့်မည်ဟု အနက်အဋ္ဌိပ္ပါယ် ကောက်ယူလျက်``ငါ့အားသင်ဖော်ပြသည့် ထာဝရဘုရားထံမှသတင်းတော်သည် ကောင်းပေ၏'' ဟုဆို၏။
Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah: 'Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken.' He said moreover: 'If but there shall be peace and truth in my days.'
