ဟောရှေ 12
1 ၁ ဣသရေလပြည်သားတို့မိုးလင်းမှမိုးချုပ် အထိ ပြုလုပ်ကျင့်ကြံနေသမျှတို့သည် အကျိုးမရှိ၊ အချည်းနှီးသက်သက်ဖြစ်၏။ သူတို့တွင်သစ္စာဖောက်မှု၊ အကြမ်းဖက်မှု များတိုးပွားများပြားလျက်ရှိ၏။ သူတို့ သည်အာရှုရိပြည်နှင့်မဟာမိတ်ဖွဲ့လျက် ပင် အီဂျစ်ပြည်နှင့်ကုန်သွယ်ကြ၏'' ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
Ephraim, feedeth on wind, and pursueth the east wind, all the day, falsehood and force, doth he magnify, —and, a covenant with Assyria, would they solemnize, and, oil into Egypt, must be borne along.
2 ၂ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်ယုဒပြည်သားတို့ ကိုစွဲချက်တင်တော်မူ၏။ ဣသရေလကို လည်းသူတို့၏အကျင့်ကြောင့်ဒဏ်ခတ် တော်မူမည်။ ကိုယ်တော်သည်သူတို့၏အပြု အမူအတိုင်းအကျိုးအပြစ်ကိုဆပ်ပေး မည်။-
But, a controversy, hath Yahweh with Judah, —so that he may bring punishment on Jacob, according to his ways, According to his doings, repay him.
3 ၃ သူတို့၏ဘိုးဘေးဖြစ်သောယာကုပ်သည် အမိဝမ်းတွင်း၌ရှိစဉ်ကပင် အမြွှာအစ်ကို ဧသောနှင့်ရန်ဘက်ပြုခဲ့၏။ ယာကုပ်သည် ကြီးပြင်းလာသောအခါ ဘုရားသခင်ကို ဆန့်ကျင်၍ရန်ဘက်ပြုခဲ့၏။-
In the womb, took he his brother by the heel; and, in his manly vigour, strove he with God:
4 ၄ သူသည်ကောင်းကင်တမန်နှင့်ရန်ဘက်ပြု ၍အနိုင်ယူခဲ့သည်။ သူသည်ငို၍ကောင်းချီး မင်္ဂလာကိုတောင်းခံ၏။ ဗေသလမြို့တွင် ဘုရားသခင်သည်ယာကုပ်ထံသို့ကြွ လာ၍ဗျာဒိတ်ပေးတော်မူ၏။-
Yea he strove against a Messenger, and prevailed, he wept, and made supplication unto him, —At Bethel, he found him, and, there, he spake with us;
5 ၅ ထိုဘုရားသည်အနန္တတန်ခိုးရှင်ဘုရားသခင်ဖြစ်တော်မူ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်၏ဘွဲ့ နာမတော်ကားထာဝရဘုရားဖြစ် သတည်း။-
And, Yahweh, is God of host, —Yahweh, is his memorial.
6 ၆ ထို့ကြောင့်ယာကုပ်အနွယ်ဝင်တို့၊ သင်တို့ ၏ဘုရားသခင်ကိုယုံကြည်၍အထံ တော်သို့ပြန်ကြလော့၊ သစ္စာစောင့်လော့၊ ဖြောင့် မတ်စွာကျင့်လော့၊ သင်တို့၏ဘုရားသခင် ကိုစိတ်ရှည်စွာစောင့်စားလျက်နေကြလော့။
Thou, therefore, by thy God, shalt return, —lovingkindness and justice, do thou keep, so wait thou for thy God, continually.
7 ၇ ထာဝရဘုရားက``ဣသရေလပြည်သား တို့သည်ခါနာန်အမျိုးသားတို့ကဲ့သို့ပင် မရိုးသားကြချေ။ သူတို့သည်မမှန်သော အလေးချိန်ခွင်ဖြင့်ဝယ်သူတို့အားရောင်း ချတတ်၏။-
A trafficker! in his hand, are balances of deceit, to oppress, he loveth.
8 ၈ သူတို့က`ငါတို့သည်ကြွယ်ဝချမ်းသာကြ၏။ ငွေကြေးအမြောက်အမြားစုဆောင်းမိပြီ။ မည်သူကမျှငါတို့အားမတရားရသော ငွေဖြင့်ကြွယ်ဝချမ်းသာသည်ဟုမစွပ်စွဲ နိုင်' ဟုဆိုကြ၏။-
So then Ephraim said, Surely I have gotten me riches, I have found wealth for myself, —in all my toils, they cannot find in me perversity which is sin.
9 ၉ သို့ရာတွင်သင်တို့အားအီဂျစ်ပြည်မှထုတ် ဆောင်ခဲ့သော သင်တို့၏ဘုရားသခင်ငါ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သဲကန္တာရ၌သင် တို့တဲများနှင့်နေထိုင်သည်နည်းတူ ယခု တစ်ဖန်တဲများ၌နေထိုင်စေဦးမည်။
But, I, Yahweh, have been thy God, from the land of Egypt, —I will yet make thee dwell in tents, as in the days of appointed meeting.
10 ၁၀ ``ငါသည်ပရောဖက်တို့အားဗျာဒိတ်ပေး ၍ ရူပါရုံများစွာကိုမြင်စေခဲ့ပြီ။ သူတို့ အားဖြင့်ငါ၏လူမျိုးတော်ကိုသတိပေး ခဲ့ပြီ။-
And I will lay my word upon the prophets, yea, I myself, have magnified, vision, —and, by the hand of the prophets, will I use similitudes.
11 ၁၁ သို့သော်လည်းသူတို့သည်ဂိလဒ်ပြည်တွင် ရုပ်တုများကိုကိုးကွယ်ကြ၏။ ထိုသို့ကိုး ကွယ်သူတို့သည်သေရမည်။ ဂိလဂါလ မြို့တွင်နွားများကိုယဇ်ပူဇော်ကြ၍ထို အရပ်၌ရှိသောယဇ်ပလ္လင်တို့သည်ကွင်း ပြင်များထဲတွင်ကျောက်ပုံများအဖြစ် ကျန်ရစ်လိမ့်မည်။''
If, Gilead, is in sorrow, surely false, have they been, In Gilgal, have they sacrificed, bullocks, —their very altars, shall become as heaps upon the furrows of the field.
12 ၁၂ ငါတို့၏ဘိုးဘေးဖြစ်သောယာကုပ်သည် အာရံပြည်သို့ထွက်ပြေး၍ မယားရရန် လူတစ်ဦးထံ၌သိုးကျောင်းရ၏။-
When Jacob fled to the country of Syria, then Israel served for a wife, and, for a wife, he watched over a flock.
13 ၁၃ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်ဣသရေလပြည် သားတို့အားကျွန်ခံရာအီဂျစ်ပြည်မှ ထုတ်ဆောင်ရန်နှင့်စောင့်ရှောက်ရန်ပရောဖက် တစ်ပါးကိုစေလွှတ်တော်မူ၏။-
And, by a prophet, Yahweh, brought up, Israel out of Egypt, —and, by a prophet, was he watched over.
14 ၁၄ ဣသရေလပြည်သားတို့သည်ထာဝရ ဘုရားအား ခါးသီးစွာအမျက်ဒေါသ ထွက်စေ၏။ သူတို့၏ဒုစရိုက်အပြစ်များ ကြောင့်သေဒဏ်ခံသင့်ကြ၏။ သူတို့သည် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ဘုန်းအသရေတော်ကို ရှုတ်ချသောကြောင့် ကိုယ်တော်သည်သူတို့ ကိုဒဏ်ခတ်တော်မူလိမ့်မည်။
Ephraim hath provoked, very bitterly, —his own blood, therefore, upon him, will he leave, and, his reproach, shall his Lord, bring back to him.
