ဂလာတိ 5
1 ၁ ခရစ်တော်သည်ငါတို့အား ကျွန်ဘဝမှလွတ် မြောက်စေတော်မူပြီဖြစ်၍ ငါတို့သည်ကျွန် မဟုတ်ကြ။ သို့ဖြစ်၍လွတ်လပ်သူများအဖြစ် နှင့်ရပ်တည်ကြလော့။ နောက်တစ်ဖန်ကျွန်မဖြစ် ကြနှင့်။
With her freedom, Christ hath made you, free. Stand fast, therefore, and do not, again, with a yoke of servitude, be held fast!
2 ၂ နားထောင်ကြလော့။ ငါပေါလုဆိုသည်ကား အကယ်၍ သင်တို့သည်အရေဖျားလှီးမင်္ဂလာ ကိုခံကြမည်ဆိုပါက ခရစ်တော်အားဖြင့် သင်တို့အဘယ်အကျိုးကိုမျှမရနိုင်ကြ။-
See! I, Paul, say unto you—if ye be getting circumcised, Christ will profit you, nothing.
3 ၃ အရေဖျားလှီးမင်္ဂလာခံသူတိုင်းသည် ပညတ် တရားအလုံးစုံကိုလိုက်လျှောက်ရလိမ့်မည် ဖြစ်ကြောင်း ယခုတစ်ဖန်ငါသတိပေး၏။-
Yea, I bear solemn witness again, unto every man getting circumcised, —that he is, a debtor, to do, the whole law.
4 ၄ ဘုရားသခင်နှင့်မှန်ကန်စွာဆက်ဆံမှုကို ပညတ်တရားလိုက်လျှောက်ခြင်းအားဖြင့်ရှာ လျှင် သင်တို့သည်ခရစ်တော်နှင့်အဆက်ပြတ်၍ ဘုရားသခင်၏ကျေးဇူးတော်တရားလက် အောက်တွင်မရှိတော့ပြီ။-
Ye have been set aside from Christ, ye who, by law, are to be declared righteous, —out of his favour, ye have fallen;
5 ၅ ငါတို့မူကားဘုရားသခင်၏ဝိညာဉ်တော် ၏တန်ခိုးကိုအမှီပြုလျက်ယုံကြည်ခြင်း အားဖြင့် ကိုယ်တော်နှင့်မှန်ကန်စွာဆက်ဆံ ခွင့်ကိုရရှိလိမ့်မည်ဟုစောင့်စားမျှော်လင့် ကြ၏။-
For, we, in Spirit, by faith, for a hope of righteousness, are ardently waiting, —
6 ၆ ငါတို့သည်ခရစ်တော်နှင့်တစ်လုံးတစ်ဝတည်း ဖြစ်ပါက အရေဖျားလှီးမင်္ဂလာခံသည်မခံ သည်မှာအရေးမကြီးပေ။ အရေးကြီးသည့် အရာမှာမေတ္တာတရားကိုပေါ်လွင်စေသည့် ယုံကြည်ခြင်းပင်ဖြစ်သတည်း။
For, in Christ [Jesus], neither, circumcision, availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but faith, through love, energising.
7 ၇ ယခင်ကသင်တို့ပြုကျင့်ကြပုံမှာ အလွန် လျောက်ပတ်ပေသည်။ သမ္မာတရားတော်ကို မလိုက်မနာစေရန်ယခုသင်တို့အား အဘယ် သူဆီးတားသနည်း။ ထိုသူသည်သင်တို့အား အဘယ်သို့သွေးဆောင်သနည်း။-
Ye were running well: —who hath hindered you, that, by truth, ye are not to be persuaded?
8 ၈ ထိုသွေးဆောင်မှုသည်သင်တို့အား ရွေးကောက် တော်မူသောဘုရားသခင်ထံတော်မှလာ သည်မဟုတ်။-
The persuasion, [is] not of him that calleth you: —
9 ၉ ``မုန့်ညက်တစ်ပုံလုံးကိုဖောင်းကြွစေရန် တဆေးအနည်းငယ်သာလိုသည်'' ဟူသော ဆိုရိုးစကားကိုသတိပြုကြလော့။-
A little leaven, leaveneth, the whole lump.
10 ၁၀ သို့ရာတွင်ငါသည်သင်တို့ကို ယနေ့တိုင်အောင် ယုံကြည်စိတ်ချခြင်းရှိ၏။ ငါနှင့်သင်တို့သည် သခင်ဘုရား၌တစ်လုံးတစ်ဝတည်းဖြစ်ကြ သဖြင့် သင်တို့သည်ကွဲလွဲသောအယူကို လက်ခံကြလိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်ဟု ငါယုံကြည် စိတ်ချ၏။ သို့ရာတွင်သင်တို့အားနှောင့်ယှက် သူမည်သူမဆို ဘုရားသခင်၏အပြစ်ဒဏ် ခတ်တော်မူခြင်းကိုခံရမည်။
I, am persuaded regarding you, in the Lord—that, for nothing else, ye will have any regard; but, he that is troubling you, shall bear the sentence, —whosoever he may be.
11 ၁၁ သို့ရာတွင်ညီအစ်ကိုတို့၊ အကယ်၍ ငါသည် အရေဖျားလှီးမင်္ဂလာကိုဆက်လက်ဟောပြော နေသည်ဟုဆိုသည်မှာမှန်လျှင် အဘယ်ကြောင့် ညှဉ်းဆဲနှိပ်စက်ခြင်းကိုခံလျက်နေရပါသေး သနည်း။ အကယ်၍ယင်းသို့ဟောပြောသည်ဟု ဆိုသည်မှာမှန်လျှင် ခရစ်တော်၏လက်ဝါးကပ် တိုင်တရားတော်အကြောင်း ငါဟောပြောမှု သည်ဒုက္ခပေးလိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်။-
I, however, brethren—if, circumcision, I yet proclaim, why am I yet persecuted? After all, the stumbling-block of the cross hath been set aside.
12 ၁၂ သင်တို့ကိုနှောင့်ယှက်သောသူတို့သည်အရေ ဖျားလှီးမင်္ဂလာခံယူရုံသာမက မိမိတို့ ကိုယ်ကိုသင်းကွပ်လိုက်ကြလျှင်ကောင်းလိမ့်မည်။
Oh! that they would even leave off in dismay, who are unsettling you!
13 ၁၃ ညီအစ်ကိုတို့၊ လွတ်လပ်မှုရစေရန်ဘုရားသခင် သည်သင်တို့ကိုရွေးကောက်တော်မူပေသည်။ သို့ ရာတွင်လွတ်လပ်မှုကိုအကြောင်းပြ၍ လူ့ဇာတိ အလိုသို့မလိုက်ကြဘဲမေတ္တာဖြင့်အချင်း ချင်းကျေးဇူးပြုကြလော့။-
For, ye, on a footing of freedom, were called, brethren, —only, [turn] not your freedom into an occasion to the flesh, but, by means of your love, be serving one another;
14 ၁၄ ``သင်၏အိမ်နီးချင်းကိုကိုယ်နှင့်အမျှချစ် လော့'' ဟူသောပညတ်သည်ပညတ်တရား၏ အချုပ်အခြာဖြစ်၏။-
For, the whole law, in one word, is summed up—[namely] in this, —Thou shall love thy neighbour as thyself.
15 ၁၅ သို့သော်သားရဲတိရစ္ဆာန်အချင်းချင်းကိုက်သတ် ကြသကဲ့သို့ သင်တို့ပြုကြပါလျှင် အချင်း ချင်းဖျက်ဆီးရာရောက်မည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်းသတိ ပြုကြလော့။
If, however, one another, ye bite and devour, take heed lest, by one another, ye be consumed!
16 ၁၆ ငါဆိုသည်ကားဝိညာဉ်တော်ညွှန်ကြားသည့် အတိုင်းကျင့်ကြလော့။ လူ့ဇာတိအလိုသို့ မလိုက်ကြနှင့်။-
I say, moreover—by Spirit, be walking, and, fleshly coveting, ye will in nowise fulfil;
17 ၁၇ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်လူ့ဇာတိအလိုသည် ဝိညာဉ်တော်အလိုနှင့်ဆန့်ကျင်လျက်နေ၍ ဝိညာဉ်တော်အလိုသည်လည်း လူ့ဇာတိအလို နှင့်ဆန့်ကျင်လျက်နေသောကြောင့်ဖြစ်၏။ လူ့ ဇာတိသဘောနှင့်ဝိညာဉ်တော်သည်ရန်သူ များဖြစ်ကြ၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍သင်တို့သည်မိမိ တို့အလိုဆန္ဒရှိသည်အတိုင်းမပြုနိုင်ကြ။-
For, the flesh, coveted against the Spirit, but, the Spirit, against the flesh, —for, these, unto one another, are opposed, lest, whatsoever things ye chance to desire, these, ye should be doing!
18 ၁၈ ဝိညာဉ်တော်သည်သင်တို့အားဦးဆောင်လမ်းပြ တော်မူလျှင် သင်တို့သည်ပညတ်တရား၏လက် အောက်ခံမဟုတ်တော့ပေ။
And, if, by Spirit, ye are being led, ye are not under law.
19 ၁၉ လူ့ဇာတိနှင့်ဆိုင်သောအပြုအမူများမှာ သိသာထင်ရှား၏။ ထိုအရာများကားကာမ ဂုဏ်လိုက်စားခြင်း၊ ညစ်ညမ်းခြင်း၊ အကျင့် ပျက်ခြင်း၊-
Manifest, however, are the works of the flesh, which, indeed, are—fornication, impurity, wantonness,
20 ၂၀ ရုပ်တုကိုကိုးကွယ်ခြင်း၊ စုန်းအတတ်ဖြင့်ပြုစား ခြင်း၊ ရန်ငြိုးဖွဲ့ခြင်း၊ ခိုက်ရန်ဖြစ်ခြင်း၊ မနာလိုခြင်း၊ အမျက်ထွက်ခြင်း၊ ကြီးပွားကျော်ကြားလိုစိတ် ရှိခြင်း၊ စိတ်ဝမ်းကွဲခြင်း၊ ဂိုဏ်းခွဲခြင်း၊-
idolatry, enchantment, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of wrath, factions, divisions, parties,
21 ၂၁ ငြူစူခြင်း၊ သေရည်သောက်ကြူးခြင်း၊ သောက်စား ပျော်ပါးခြင်းအစရှိသည်တို့ဖြစ်၏။ ဤနည်း အတိုင်းပြုကျင့်ကြသူတို့သည်ဘုရားသခင် ၏နိုင်ငံတော်ကိုအပိုင်ရကြမည်မဟုတ်။
envyings, drunkenness, revellings; —and such things as these: as to which I forewarn you, even as I have forewarned you, —that, they who such things as these do practise, shall not inherit, God’s kingdom.
22 ၂၂ ဝိညာဉ်တော်ကဖြစ်ပေါ်စေသည့်အသီးအပွင့် မူကားချစ်ခြင်း၊ ဝမ်းမြောက်ခြင်း၊ ငြိမ်သက်ခြင်း၊ စိတ်ရှည်သည်းခံခြင်း၊ သနားကြင်နာခြင်း၊ ကောင်း မြတ်ခြင်း၊ သစ္စာစောင့်ခြင်း၊-
But, the fruit of the Spirit, is—love, joy, peace, long-suffering, graciousness, goodness, faithfulness,
23 ၂၃ နူးညံ့သိမ်မွေ့ခြင်း၊ မိမိကိုယ်ကိုချုပ်တည်းခြင်း တို့ပေတည်း။ ဤအရာများနှင့်ပတ်သက်၍ပြဋ္ဌာန်း ထားသည့်တရားဥပဒေဟူ၍မရှိ။-
meekness, self-control; —against such things as these, there is no law.
24 ၂၄ ခရစ်တော်ယေရှု၏တပည့်များသည်လူ့ဇာတိစိတ် နှင့်၎င်း၏လိုအင်ဆန္ဒများကို လက်ဝါးကပ်တိုင်ပေါ် တွင်တင်၍ကွပ်မျက်လိုက်ကြလေပြီ။-
And, they who are of Christ Jesus, have crucified, the flesh, with its susceptibilities and covetings.
25 ၂၅ ဝိညာဉ်တော်သည်ငါတို့အားအသက်ရှင်စေပြီ။ ဝိညာဉ်တော်ဦးဆောင်လမ်းပြတော်မူသည် အတိုင်းကျင့်ရကြမည်။-
If we live by Spirit, by Spirit, let us also walk.
26 ၂၆ ငါတို့သည်မာန်မာနမရှိရ။ အချင်းချင်း အမျက်ထွက်အောင်မဆွရ။ မနာလိုခြင်း မရှိရ။
Let us not become vain-glorious, —one another, challenging, one another, envying.
