ယေဇကျေလ 9
1 ၁ ထိုနောက်ဘုရားသခင်က``ယေရုရှလင်မြို့ ကိုစောင့်နေသူတို့လာကြလော့။ သင်တို့နှင့် အတူလက်နက်များကိုလည်းယူခဲ့ကြ လော့'' ဟုကျယ်သောအသံနှင့် မိန့်တော်မူ သည်ကိုငါကြားရ၏။-
And he cried in my ears with a loud voice, saying: The visitations of the city are at hand, and every one hath a destroying weapon in his hand.
2 ၂ ထိုအခါချက်ချင်းပင်လက်နက်တစ်ခု စီကိုင်ဆောင်ထားသောလူခြောက်ယောက်တို့ သည် ဗိမာန်တော်မြောက်ဘက်အပြင်တံခါး မှထွက်၍လာကြ၏။ သူတို့နှင့်အတူပိတ် ချောထည်ကိုဝတ်ဆင်ကာ စာရေးကိရိယာ ကိုယူဆောင်လာသူလူတစ်ဦးလည်းပါ၏။ သူတို့အားလုံးပင်ကြေးဝါယဇ်ပလ္လင် အနီးသို့လာ၍ရပ်ကြ၏။
And behold six men came from the way of the upper gate, which looketh to the north: and each one had his weapon of destruction in his hand: and there was one man in the midst of them clothed with linen, with a writer’s inkhorn at his reins: and they went in, and stood by the brazen altar.
3 ၃ ထိုအခါဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့ ကိုး ကွယ်သောဘုရားသခင်၏တောက်ပသော ဘုန်းအသရေတော်သည် ကျိန်းဝပ်တော်မူ ရာခေရုဗိမ်များမှလျှံတက်လျက်ဗိမာန် တော်အဝင်ဝသို့ရွေ့လျားသွားတော်မူ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်ပိတ်ချောထည်ကိုဝတ် ဆင်ထား၍ စာရေးကိရိယာကိုယူဆောင် လာသူအားခေါ်တော်မူ၍၊-
And the glory of the Lord of Israel went up from the cherub, upon which he was, to the threshold of the house: and he called to the man that was clothed with linen, and had a writer’s inkhorn at his loins.
4 ၄ ``သင်သည်ယေရုရှလင်မြို့တစ်လျှောက်လုံး တွင်လှည့်လည်ကာ ယခုလူတို့ပြုကျင့်လျက် ရှိသောစက်ဆုပ်ဖွယ်ရာအမှုများကြောင့် ညည်းတွားမြည်တမ်းနေသူမှန်သမျှ၏ နဖူးတွင် အမှတ်သညာကိုရေးမှတ်လော့'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
And the Lord said to him: Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem: and mark Thau upon the foreheads of the men that sigh, and mourn for all the abominations that are committed in the midst thereof.
5 ၅ ထိုနောက်ဘုရားသခင်ကအခြားသူတို့ အား``ထိုသူ၏နောက်သို့လိုက်၍မြို့တွင်း တစ်လျှောက်တွင်သတ်ဖြတ်ကြလော့။ မည်သူ့ ကိုမျှချမ်းသာမပေးနှင့်။ မည်သူ့ကိုမျှ မသနားမညှာတာနှင့်။-
And to the others he said in my hearing: Go ye after him through the city, and strike: let not your eyes spare, nor be ye moved with pity.
6 ၆ အသက်ကြီးသူများ၊ ပျိုရွယ်သူယောကျာ်း မိန်းမများ၊ ကလေးအမေများနှင့်ကလေး များကိုသတ်ကြလော့။ သို့ရာတွင်နဖူး တွင်အမှတ်သညာရှိသူတစ်စုံတစ်ယောက် ကိုမျှမထိနှင့်။ ငါ၏ဗိမာန်တော်မှအစ ပြု၍ဆောင်ရွက်လော့'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူသည် ကိုငါကြားရ၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ထိုသူတို့သည် ဗိမာန်တော်တွင်ရပ်လျက်နေသော ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားအသက်ကြီးသူများကိုဦး စွာသတ်ကြ၏။
Utterly destroy old and young, maidens, children and women: but upon whomsoever you shall see Thau, kill him not, and begin ye at my sanctuary. So they began at the ancient men who mere before the house.
7 ၇ ဘုရားသခင်က``ဗိမာန်တော်ကိုညစ်ညမ်း စေကြလော့။ တံတိုင်းများကိုလူသေကောင် များဖြင့်ပြည့်စေကြလော့။ အလုပ်စ၍ လုပ်ကြလော့။'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ ထိုသူခြောက်ယောက်တို့သည်မြို့တွင်းရှိ လူတို့ကိုစတင်သတ်ဖြတ်ကြ၏။
And he said to them: Defile the house, and ill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew them that were in the city.
8 ၈ ယင်းသို့ထိုသူတို့သတ်ဖြတ်နေကြချိန် ၌ငါသည်တစ်ယောက်တည်းကျန်ခဲ့၏။ ငါ သည်မြေပေါ်သို့လှဲချပျပ်ဝပ်ကာ``အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား၊ ကိုယ်တော်သည်ဣသရေလ ပြည်တွင်ကျန်ရှိသမျှသောလူတို့ကိုသတ် ဖြတ်စေသည့်တိုင်အောင် ယေရုရှလင်မြို့ကို အမျက်ထွက်တော်မူပါသလော'' ဟုဟစ် အော်လျှောက်ထား၏။
And the slaughter being ended I was left: and I fell upon my face, and crying, I said: Alas, alas, alas, O Lord God, wilt thou then destroy all the remnant of Israel, by pouring out thy fury upon Jerusalem?
9 ၉ ဘုရားသခင်က``ဣသရေလနှင့်ယုဒပြည် သူပြည်သားတို့၏အပြစ်များသည်အကယ် ပင်ကြီးလေး၏။ သူတို့သည်ပြည်တွင်းနေရာ တကာတွင်လူသတ်မှုများ၊ ပြစ်မှုများဖြင့် ပြည့်နှက်စေကြလျက်`ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ငါတို့ပြည်ကိုစွန့်တော်မူလေပြီ။ ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည်ငါတို့ကိုမြင်တော်မမူ' ဟု ဆိုကြ၏။-
And he said to me: The iniquity of the house of Israel, and of Juda, is exceeding great, and the land is filled with blood, and the city is filled with perverseness: for they have said: The Lord hath forsaken the earth, and the Lord seeth not.
10 ၁၀ သို့ရာတွင်ငါသည်သူတို့ကိုသနားမည် မဟုတ်။ ချမ်းသာပေးလိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်။ ထိုသူ တို့သူတစ်ပါးအားပြုကြသည်အတိုင်း သူတို့အားငါပြုမည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
Therefore neither shall my eye spare, nor will I have pity: I will requite their way upon their head.
11 ၁၁ ထိုနောက်ပိတ်ချောထည်ကိုဝတ်ဆင်ထား၍ စာရေးကိရိယာကိုယူဆောင်လာသူက``အ ကျွန်ုပ်သည်ကိုယ်တော်ရှင်၏အမိန့်တော်အ တိုင်းဆောင်ရွက်ပြီးပါပြီ'' ဟု ထာဝရ ဘုရားအားလာရောက်အစီရင်ခံလေ သည်။
And behold the man that was clothed with linen, that had the inkhorn at his back, returned the word, saying: I have done as thou hast commanded me.
