ယေဇကျေလ 18
And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
2 ၂ ကိုယ်တော်က ``မိဘတို့စပျစ်ချဉ်သီးကိုသုံးဆောင်ခြင်း ကြောင့်၊ သားသမီးများသွားကျိန်းရကြ၏'' ဟူသောစကားပုံကိုဣသရေလအမျိုး သားတို့ ထပ်ကာထပ်ကာပြောဆိုနေကြရာ ၌အဘယ်သို့ဆိုလိုသနည်း။''
What mean ye, ye who use this proverb of the land of Israel, saying, [The] fathers eat sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge?
3 ၃ ``ငါသည်အသက်ရှင်တော်မူသောဘုရား ဖြစ်သည်နှင့်အညီ ဣသရေလနိုင်ငံတွင် ဤစကားပုံကိုနောက်တစ်ဖန်သုံးစွဲရ တော့မည်မဟုတ်။-
[As] I live, saith the Lord Jehovah, ye shall not have any more to use this proverb in Israel.
4 ၄ အဖ၏အသက်ကိုငါပိုင်၏။ သား၏အသက် ကိုလည်းငါပိုင်၏။ လူတိုင်း၏အသက်ကို ငါပိုင်၏။ သေရမည့်သူကားအပြစ်ကူးလွန် သူပင်ဖြစ်၏။
Behold, all the souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
And if a man be righteous, and do judgment and justice:
6 ၆ သူသည်ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့ကိုးကွယ် သောရုပ်တုတို့ကိုမကိုးကွယ်။ တောင်ပေါ်ရှိ ကိုးကွယ်ရာဌာနများတွင် ယဇ်ပူဇော်သည့် အသားကိုမစား။ သူတစ်ပါး၏အိမ်ရာကို မပြစ်မှား။ ရာသီလာနေသောမိန်းမနှင့်လည်း မဆက်ဆံ။-
— he hath not eaten upon the mountains, nor lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour's wife, nor come near to a woman in her separation,
7 ၇ သူသည်လှည့်စားမှုကိုမပြု။ သူတစ်ပါး၏ ဥစ္စာကိုအနိုင်အထက်မလုမယူ။ အပေါင်ခံ ပစ္စည်းကိုလည်းပြန်၍ပေး၏။ ငတ်မွတ်နေသူ ကိုကျွေးမွေး၍ အဝတ်မဲ့သူအားအဝတ် အစားများကိုပေး၏။-
and hath not oppressed any; he hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath not exercised robbery, hath given his bread to the hungry, and covered the naked with a garment;
8 ၈ သူသည်အတိုးအမြတ်ရရန်ငွေကိုမချေး။ ဆိုးညစ်မှုကိုရှောင်ရှား၍အချင်းများမှု တို့တွင်ဖြောင့်မှန်သောအဆုံးအဖြတ်ကို ပေး၏။-
he hath not given forth upon usury, nor taken increase; he hath withdrawn his hand from unrighteousness, hath executed true judgment between man and man,
9 ၉ သူသည်ငါ၏အမိန့်များကိုလိုက်နာ၍ ငါ၏ ပညတ်တော်တို့ကိုသေချာစွာစောင့်ထိန်း၏။ ထိုသူသည်သူတော်ကောင်းဖြစ်သဖြင့် အသက် ရှင်လိမ့်မည်ဟုအရှင်ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
hath walked in my statutes, and kept mine ordinances, to deal faithfully: he is righteous, he shall certainly live, saith the Lord Jehovah.
10 ၁၀ ``ထိုသူ၌အနိုင်အထက်လုယက်သတ်ဖြတ် တတ်၍ ဖခင်မပြုခဲ့ဘူးသည့်အမှုတို့ကို ပြုကျင့်သူသားတစ်ယောက်ရှိသည်ဆိုအံ့။ ထိုသားသည်တောင်ပေါ်ရှိကိုးကွယ်ရာဌာန များတွင်ယဇ်ပူဇော်သည့်အသားကိုစား၏။ သူတစ်ပါးအိမ်ရာကိုပြစ်မှား၏။-
And if he have begotten a son that is violent, a shedder of blood, and that doeth only one of any of these [things],
11 ၁၁
and that doeth not any of those [duties], but also hath eaten upon the mountains, and defiled his neighbour's wife,
12 ၁၂ သူသည်ဆင်းရဲချို့တဲ့သူတို့အားလိမ်လည် လှည့်စား၏။ သူတစ်ပါး၏ဥစ္စာကိုအနိုင် အထက်လုယူ၏။ အပေါင်ခံပစ္စည်းကိုလည်း ပြန်၍မပေး။ ရုပ်တုတို့ကိုကိုးကွယ်၍ စက်ဆုပ်ဖွယ်ကောင်းသောအမှုကိုပြု၏။-
hath oppressed the poor and needy, exercised robbery, hath not restored the pledge, and hath lifted up his eyes to the idols, committed abomination,
13 ၁၃ သူသည်အတိုးအမြတ်ရအောင်ငွေကိုချေး ၏။ ထိုသူသည်အသက်ရှင်နိုင်မည်လော။ အသက် ရှင်နိုင်မည်မဟုတ်။ သူသည်ယင်းသို့စက်ဆုပ် ဖွယ်ကောင်းသောအမှုတို့ကိုပြုသဖြင့်သေ ရလိမ့်မည်။ သူ၏သွေးသည်သူ့ခေါင်းပေါ် တင်လျက်ရှိ၏။
given forth upon usury, and taken increase; shall he then live? He shall not live: he hath done all these abominations; he shall certainly die; his blood shall be upon him.
14 ၁၄ ``ယခုထိုသူ၌သားတစ်ယောက်ရှိသည်ဆို အံ့။ ထိုသားသည်မိမိဖခင်ပြုကျင့်ခဲ့သည့် ဒုစရိုက်တို့ကိုမြင်သော်လည်းဖခင်ကို အတုမခိုး။-
But lo, if he have begotten a son that seeth all his father's sins which he hath done, and considereth, and doeth not such like:
15 ၁၅ သူသည်ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့၏ ရုပ်တုတို့ကိုမကိုးကွယ်။ တောင်ပေါ်ရှိကိုး ကွယ်ရာဌာနများတွင် ယဇ်ပူဇော်သည့် အသားကိုလည်းမစား။ သူတစ်ပါးအိမ် ရာပြစ်မှားခြင်း၊-
— he hath not eaten upon the mountains, nor lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel; he hath not defiled his neighbour's wife,
16 ၁၆ သူတစ်ပါးတို့အားနှိပ်စက်ညှင်းဆဲမှုနှင့် သူ တစ်ပါး၏ဥစ္စာကိုအနိုင်အထက်လုယူမှုတို့ ကိုလည်းမပြု။ သူသည်အပေါင်ခံပစ္စည်းများ ကိုလက်မခံ။ ငတ်မွတ်နေသူကိုကျွေးမွေး၍ အဝတ်မဲ့သူအားအဝတ်အစားများကို ပေး၏။-
and hath not oppressed any, nor withholden the pledge, neither hath exercised robbery; he hath given his bread to the hungry, and covered the naked with a garment;
17 ၁၇ သူသည်ဆိုးညစ်မှုကိုရှောင်ရှား၍အတိုး အမြတ်ရရန်ငွေကိုမချေး။ ငါ၏ပညတ် တော်များကိုစောင့်ထိန်း၍ငါ၏အမိန့်တော် တို့ကိုလိုက်နာ၏။ ထိုသူသည်ဖခင်၏အပြစ် ကြောင့်သေရမည်မဟုတ်။ သူသည်မုချ အသက်ရှင်လိမ့်မည်။-
he hath withdrawn his hand from the poor, hath not received usury nor increase, hath executed my judgments, [and] walked in my statutes: he shall not die for the iniquity of his father, he shall certainly live.
18 ၁၈ သူ၏ဖခင်မူကားလိမ်လည်လှည့်စား၍သူ တစ်ပါးတို့၏ဥစ္စာကိုအနိုင်အထက်လုယူ လျက် အစဉ်ပင်လူအပေါင်းအားဆိုးညစ်စွာ ပြုကျင့်သဖြင့်မိမိ၏အပြစ်များကြောင့် သေရ၏။
As for his father, because he practised oppression, exercised robbery upon his brother, and did what was not good among his people, behold, he shall die in his iniquity.
19 ၁၉ ``သို့ရာတွင်သင်တို့က`သားဖြစ်သူသည် အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဖခင်ပြုခဲ့သည့်အပြစ်များ ၏အကျိုးဆက်ကိုမခံရပါသနည်း' ဟု မေးကြ၏။ အဖြေကားသားသည်ကောင်းရာ မှန်ရာကိုပြုသူဖြစ်၏။ သူသည်ငါ၏ပညတ် တော်တို့ကိုစောင့်ထိန်း၍အသေအချာလိုက် နာ၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍သူသည်မုချအသက်ရှင် လိမ့်မည်။-
And ye say, Why doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? But the son hath done judgment and justice, hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them; he shall certainly live.
20 ၂၀ သေရမည့်သူကားအပြစ်ကူးလွန်သူ ဖြစ်၏။ သားဖြစ်သူသည်ဖခင်ပြုသည့် အပြစ်များ၏အကျိုးဆက်ကိုခံရမည် မဟုတ်။ ဖခင်ဖြစ်သူသည်လည်းသားပြု သည့်အပြစ်များ၏အကျိုးဆက်ကိုခံ ရမည်မဟုတ်။ လူကောင်းသည်ကောင်းမှု ကိုပြုသည့်အတွက်ကောင်းကျိုး၊ ဆိုးညစ် သောသူသည်ဆိုးညစ်မှုကိုပြုသည့် အတွက်ဆိုးကျိုးကိုလည်းကောင်းခံရ လိမ့်မည်။
The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son; the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
21 ၂၁ ``ဆိုးညစ်သူသည်အပြစ်ဒုစရိုက်ကိုရပ်စဲ ၍ ငါ၏ပညတ်တော်တို့ကိုစောင့်ထိန်း၏။ မှန် ရာကောင်းရာကိုလည်းပြုကျင့်၏။ ထိုသူ သည်သေရမည်မဟုတ်။ မုချပင်အသက် ရှင်ရလိမ့်မည်။-
And the wicked, if he turn from all his sins which he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do judgment and justice, he shall certainly live, he shall not die.
22 ၂၂ သူသည်မှန်ရာကိုပြုကျင့်သည့်အတွက် မိမိ၏အပြစ်အပေါင်းမှပြေလွှတ်၍ အသက်ရှင်ရလိမ့်မည်။-
None of his transgressions which he hath committed shall be remembered against him; in his righteousness which he hath done shall he live.
23 ၂၃ ငါသည်ဆိုးညစ်သူသေသည်ကိုမြင်သော အခါ နှစ်ခြိုက်အားရခြင်းဖြစ်သည်ဟုသင် တို့ထင်မှတ်ကြသလောဟု အရှင်ထာဝရ ဘုရားမေးတော်မူ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်ကထိုသူ နောင်တရ၍အသက်ရှင်ရသည်ကိုသာ လျှင်ငါမြင်လို၏။
Have I any pleasure at all in the death of the wicked? saith the Lord Jehovah; is it not in his turning from his way, that he may live?
24 ၂၄ ``သို့ရာတွင်ဖြောင့်မတ်သောသူသည်ကောင်း မှုကိုရပ်စဲ၍ သူယုတ်မာတို့ပြုကျင့်တတ် သည့်စက်ဆုတ်ဖွယ်ရာဆိုးညစ်မှုတို့ကို ပြုလျှင် သူသည်ဆက်လက်၍အသက်ရှင် မည်လော။ အသက်မရှင်ရ။ သူပြုခဲ့သည့် ကောင်းမှုကိုငါအမှတ်ရတော့မည်မဟုတ်။ သူသည်သစ္စာမဲ့မှုကြောင့်အပြစ်ရှိ၍ မိမိကူးလွန်ခဲ့သည့်အပြစ်များ အတွက်သေရလိမ့်မည်။
And when the righteous turneth from his righteousness and practiseth what is wrong, [and] doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked doeth, shall he live? None of his righteous acts which he hath done shall be remembered: in his unfaithfulness which he hath wrought, and in his sin which he hath sinned, in them shall he die.
25 ၂၅ ``သို့သော်လည်းသင်တို့က`ဘုရားရှင်စီရင် တော်မူသည်မှာမဖြောင့်ဟု' ဆိုကြ၏။ အချင်း ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့ငါပြောသည် ကိုနားထောင်ကြလော့။ သင်တို့ကငါစီရင် ချက်မဖြောင့်ဟုထင်မှတ်ကြ၏။ မဖြောင့် သည့်အရာကားသင်တို့၏ပြုမူပုံပင် ဖြစ်၏။-
And ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. Hear then, house of Israel. Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?
26 ၂၆ သူတော်ကောင်းသည်ကောင်းမှုကိုရပ်စဲ၍ ဆိုးညစ်မှုကိုပြုပြီးနောက်သေသွားလျှင် ထိုသူသည်မိမိပြုခဲ့သည့်ဆိုးညစ်မှု ကြောင့်သေရခြင်းဖြစ်၏။-
When the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and practiseth what is wrong, and dieth for it; in his wrong that he hath done shall he die.
27 ၂၇ ဆိုးညစ်သူသည်အပြစ်ဒုစရိုက်ကိုရပ်စဲ ၍မှန်ရာကောင်းရာကိုပြုကျင့်လျှင် သူသည် မိမိ၏အသက်ကိုချမ်းသာရာရစေသူ ဖြစ်၏။-
And when the wicked turneth from his wickedness which he hath committed, and doeth judgment and justice, he shall keep his soul alive.
28 ၂၈ သူသည်မိမိအမှားကိုမြင်၍အပြစ်ကို စွန့်လွှတ်လိုက်သဖြင့်မုချပင်သေရမည် မဟုတ်။ ဆက်လက်၍အသက်ရှင်ရလိမ့် မည်။-
Because he considereth, and turneth from all his transgressions which he hath committed, he shall certainly live, he shall not die.
29 ၂၉ သို့သော်လည်းဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့၊ သင်တို့က`ဘုရားရှင်စီရင်တော်မူချက်သည် မဖြောင့်' ဟုဆိုကြ၏။ ငါစီရင်တော်မူချက် ကိုမဖြောင့်ဟုသင်တို့ထင်မှတ်ကြသလော။ မဖြောင့်သည့်အရာကားသင်တို့၏ပြုမူပုံ ပင်ဖြစ်၏။
But the house of Israel say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? Is it not your ways that are unequal?
30 ၃၀ ``အချင်းဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့၊ ငါ အရှင်ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ယခုသင်တို့ တစ်ဦးစီအားသင်တို့အသီးသီးပြုခဲ့ ကြသည့်အမှုကိုလိုက်၍ တရားစီရင်တော် မူမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်းပြောကြား၏။ သင်တို့သည် ပြုကျင့်လျက်နေသောဆိုးညစ်မှုအပေါင်း မှကြဉ်ရှောင်ကြလော့။ အပြစ်ဒုစရိုက်က သင်တို့အားမပျက်စီးစေနှင့်။-
Therefore I will judge you, house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord Jehovah. Return ye, and turn from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your snare.
31 ၃၁ သင်တို့ပြုကျင့်လျက်ရှိသည့်ဆိုးညစ်မှုကို စွန့်ပစ်၍ စိတ်နှလုံးအသစ်၊ စိတ်ဝိညာဉ်အသစ် ကိုယူကြလော့။ အချင်းဣသရေလအမျိုး သားတို့သင်တို့သည်အဘယ်ကြောင့်သေ ချင်ကြသနည်း။-
Cast away from you all your transgressions wherewith ye have transgressed, and make you a new heart and a new spirit: why then will ye die, house of Israel?
32 ၃၂ ငါသည်အဘယ်သူ့ကိုမျှမသေစေလို။ အပြစ်ဒုစရိုက်ကိုရပ်စဲ၍အသက်ရှင် ကြလော့'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord Jehovah; therefore turn ye and live.
