၄ ဓမ္မရာဇဝင် 5
1 ၁ ရှုရိတပ်မတော်ဗိုလ်ချုပ်နေမန်သည် ရှုရိဘုရင် ၏ရိုသေလေးစားမှုကိုများစွာခံရသူဖြစ်၏။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်နေမန်အားဖြင့် ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည်ရှုရိတပ်များကိုအောင်ပွဲခံစေတော် မူသောကြောင့်ဖြစ်၏။ နေမန်သည်သူရဲကောင်း ကြီးတစ်ဦးဖြစ်သော်လည်း ကြောက်ရွံ့ဖွယ်ဖြစ် သောအရေပြားရောဂါစွဲကပ်နေသူဖြစ်ပေ သည်။-

2 ၂ ရှုရိအမျိုးသားတို့သည်အခါတစ်ပါးက ဣသ ရေလအမျိုးသားတို့အားလုယက်တိုက်ခိုက်ကြ ရာဝယ် ဣသရေလအမျိုးသမီးသူငယ်မတစ် ယောက်ကိုဖမ်းဆီးရမိခဲ့၏။ သူသည်နေမန် ၏ဇနီးထံတွင်အစေခံရလေသည်။-

3 ၃ တစ်နေ့သောအခါသူသည်မိမိ၏သခင်မ အား``ကျွန်မတို့သခင်သည်ရှမာရိမြို့တွင်နေ ထိုင်သူပရောဖက်ထံသို့သွားနိုင်ပါက အဘယ် မျှကောင်းပါမည်နည်း။ ထိုပရောဖက်သည်သခင် ၏ရောဂါကိုပျောက်ကင်းအောင်ကုသပေးပါ လိမ့်မည်'' ဟုပြော၏။-

4 ၄ ဤစကားကိုကြားသောအခါနေမန်သည်မင်း ကြီးထံသို့သွား၍ သူငယ်မပြောသည့်စကား ကိုသံတော်ဦးတင်၏။-

5 ၅ မင်းကြီးက``ဣသရေလဘုရင်ထံသို့သွား၍ဤ စာကိုပေးလော့'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။ သို့ဖြစ်၍နေမန် သည်ငွေသားသုံးသောင်း၊ ရွှေသားခြောက်ထောင်နှင့် ဝတ်စားတန်ဆာဆယ်စုံကိုယူ၍ထွက်ခွာသွား လေသည်။-

6 ၆ သူယူဆောင်သွားသည့်စာတွင်``ယခုစာနှင့်လာသူ ကျွန်ုပ်၏အမှုထမ်းနေမန်၏ရောဂါကိုပျောက်ကင်း အောင်ကုသပေးရန် ဤစာနှင့်တကွအဆွေတော် ထံလွှတ်လိုက်သည်'' ဟုပါရှိ၏။

7 ၇ ဣသရေလဘုရင်သည်ထိုစာကိုရသောအခါ အဝတ်တော်ကိုဆုတ်လျက်``ငါသည်ဤသူ၏ ရောဂါကိုပျောက်ကင်းစေလိမ့်မည်ဟုအဘယ် သို့ရှုရိမင်းမျှော်လင့်နိုင်ပါသနည်း။ ငါသည် အသက်ကိုပေးပိုင်နုတ်ပိုင်သောတန်ခိုးနှင့်ပြည့် စုံသည့်ဘုရားဖြစ်ပါသလော။ သူသည်ငါ့အား ရန်ရှာသည်မှာထင်ရှားပါသည်တကား'' ဟု ဆို၏။

8 ၈ ပရောဖက်ဧလိရှဲသည်ဤအဖြစ်အပျက်ကို ကြားသိသောအခါ``အဘယ်ကြောင့်အရှင်သည် ဤမျှစိတ်အနှောက်အယှက်ဖြစ်တော်မူရပါ သနည်း။ ဣသရေလပြည်တွင်ပရောဖက်ရှိ ကြောင်းသိစေရန် သူ့အားငါ့ထံသို့လွှတ် လိုက်ပါလော့'' ဟုမင်းကြီးအားမှာလိုက်လေ သည်။

9 ၉ သို့ဖြစ်၍နေမန်သည်မြင်းများကသည့်ရထား ကိုစီး၍ ဧလိရှဲ၏အိမ်အဝင်ဝသို့လာရောက် ရပ်တန့်၏။-

10 ၁၀ ဧလိရှဲကသူ့အား``သင်သည်ယောဒန်မြစ်တွင် ခုနစ်ကြိမ်တိုင်တိုင်ရေချိုးပါလျှင် သင်၏ရောဂါ လုံးဝပျောက်ကင်းသွားပါလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုအစေခံ ကိုလွှတ်၍ပြောကြားစေ၏။-

11 ၁၁ သို့ရာတွင်နေမန်သည်ပြင်းစွာအမျက်ထွက် လျက်``သူသည်ယုတ်စွအဆုံးငါ့ထံသို့ထွက်လာ ပြီးလျှင် မိမိ၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရား ထံသို့ဆုတောင်းကာ ရောဂါရှိသည့်နေရာတွင် တောင်ဝှေးကိုဝှေ့ရမ်းခြင်းအားဖြင့် ငါ၏ရောဂါ ကိုပျောက်ကင်းစေလိမ့်မည်ဟုငါထင်မှတ်၏။-

12 ၁၂ ထို့ပြင်ဒမာသက်မြို့ရှိအာဗနမြစ်နှင့်ဖာဖာ မြစ်တို့သည် ဣသရေလမြစ်ရှိသမျှထက်ပို၍ ကောင်းသဖြင့် ထိုမြစ်တို့တွင်ရေချိုး၍ရောဂါ ကိုပျောက်ကင်းနိုင်သည်မဟုတ်လော'' ဟုဆို၍ ပြန်လေသည်။

13 ၁၃ သူ၏အစေခံတို့သည် သူ့ထံသို့ချဉ်းကပ်၍``အရှင်၊ အကယ်၍ပရောဖက်ကအရှင့်အားခက်ခဲသည့် အမှုတစ်စုံတစ်ခုကိုပြုလုပ်ခိုင်းပါက အရှင် နာခံမည်မဟုတ်ပါလော။ `ရေချိုး၍ရောဂါပျောက် ကင်းလော့' ဟုခိုင်းသည်ကိုပို၍နာခံသင့်သည် မဟုတ်ပါလော'' ဟုလျှောက်ထားကြ၏။-

14 ၁၄ သို့ဖြစ်၍နေမန်သည်ယော်ဒန်မြစ်သို့ဆင်းပြီး လျှင် ဧလိရှဲညွှန်ကြားခဲ့သည့်အတိုင်း ခုနစ်ကြိမ် တိုင်တိုင်မိမိကိုယ်ကိုရေတွင်နှစ်လိုက်သောအခါ ရောဂါလုံးဝပျောက်ကင်းသွားလေသည်။ သူ၏ အသားအရေသည်ကလေးသူငယ်၏အသား အရေကဲ့သို့တောင့်တင်းစိုပြေလာ၏။-

15 ၁၅ သူသည်မိမိ၏နောက်လိုက်နောက်ပါအပေါင်းနှင့် အတူ ဧလိရှဲထံသို့ပြန်သွားပြီးလျှင်'' ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသားတို့၏ဘုရားမှတစ်ပါး အခြားဘုရား မရှိကြောင်းကိုယခုအကျွန်ုပ်သိပါပြီ။ သို့ဖြစ်၍ အရှင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်ပေးလှူသောလက်ဆောင်ကိုလက်ခံ တော်မူပါ'' ဟုပြော၏။

16 ၁၆ ဧလိရှဲက``ငါသည်လက်ဆောင်ကိုလက်ခံမည် မဟုတ်ကြောင်း ငါကိုးကွယ်သည့်အသက်ရှင်တော် မူသောထာဝရဘုရားကိုတိုင်တည်ပြော၏'' ဟု ဆို၏။ နေမန်သည်ဧလိရှဲအားလက်ဆောင်ကိုလက်ခံ ပါရန် အကြိမ်ကြိမ်တိုက်တွန်းသော်လည်းဧလိရှဲ သည်လက်မခံဘဲနေ၏။-

17 ၁၇ သို့ဖြစ်၍နေမန်က``အကျွန်ုပ်ပေးလှူသောလက် ဆောင်ကိုအရှင်လက်မခံပါမူ လားနှစ်စီးတင် မြေကိုအကျွန်ုပ်၏နေရင်းပြည်သို့ယူဆောင် သွားခွင့်ပြုတော်မူပါ။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်ယခုမှစ၍အကျွန်ုပ် သည် ဘုရားသခင်မှတစ်ပါးအခြားအဘယ် ဘုရားကိုမျှ မီးရှို့ရာယဇ်သို့မဟုတ်အခြား အဘယ်ယဇ်ကိုမျှပူဇော်တော့မည်မဟုတ် သောကြောင့်ဖြစ်ပါ၏။-

18 ၁၈ ထိုကြောင့်အကျွန်ုပ်သည်မိမိ၏ဘုရင်နှင့်အတူ ရှုရိဘုရားရိမ္မုန်ဗိမာန်သို့လိုက်ပါသွားရောက်၍ ကိုးကွယ်ဝတ်ပြုခဲ့သည့်အပြစ်အတွက်ထာဝရ ဘုရားသည် အကျွန်ုပ်အားအပြစ်လွှတ်တော်မူလိမ့် မည်ဟုမျှော်လင့်ပါ၏။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်အကျွန်ုပ် အားအမှန်ပင်အပြစ်လွှတ်တော်မူပါလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုဆို၏။

19 ၁၉ ထိုအခါဧလိရှဲက``အေးချမ်းစွာသွားပါလော့'' ဟုဆိုသဖြင့် နေမန်သည်ထွက်ခွာသွားလေ၏။ သူသည်သွား၍အဝေးသို့မရောက်မီ၊-

20 ၂၀ ဧလိရှဲ၏အစေခံဂေဟာဇိက``ငါ့သခင်သည် နေမန်ထံမှအဘယ်အရာကိုမျှမယူဘဲ သူ့ အားထွက်ခွာသွားခွင့်ပြုလေပြီတကား။ သခင် သည်ရှုရိအမျိုးသားပေးလှူသည့်ပစ္စည်းများ ကိုလက်ခံသင့်သည်။ ငါသည်နေမန်၏နောက်သို့ ပြေး၍လိုက်ပြီးလျှင် သူ့ထံမှပစ္စည်းတစ်စုံတစ် ရာကိုရအောင်ယူမည်ဖြစ်ကြောင်း အသက်ရှင် တော်မူသောထာဝရဘုရားကိုတိုင်တည်၍ ကျိန်ဆိုပါ၏'' ဟုတစ်ကိုယ်တည်းပြောဆိုကာ၊-

21 ၂၁ နေမန်၏နောက်သို့လိုက်လေ၏။ နေမန်သည်မိမိ ၏နောက်သို့လူတစ်ယောက်လိုက်လာသည်ကိုမြင် သောအခါ ထိုသူနှင့်တွေ့ဆုံရန်ရထားပေါ်မှ ဆင်း၍``အရေးကိစ္စတစ်စုံတစ်ရာရှိပါသလော'' ဟုမေး၏။

22 ၂၂ ဂေဟာဇိက``မရှိပါ။ သို့ရာတွင်ကျွန်တော်၏သခင် က ယခုပင်ဧဖရိမ်တောင်ကုန်းဒေသမှပရောဖက် နှစ်ပါးရောက်ရှိလာသဖြင့် သူတို့အတွက်ငွေသား သုံးထောင်နှင့်ဝတ်စုံနှစ်စုံကိုအရှင့်ထံမှတောင်းခံ ရန် ကျွန်တော်အားစေလွှတ်လိုက်ပါသည်'' ဟုဖြေ၏။

23 ၂၃ နေမန်က``ကျေးဇူးပြု၍ငွေသားခြောက်ထောင်ယူ ပါလော့'' ဟုတိုက်တွန်းပြီးလျှင်ထိုငွေကိုအိတ်နှစ် လုံးတွင်ထည့်၍ ဝတ်စုံနှစ်စုံနှင့်အတူမိမိ၏ အစေခံနှစ်ယောက်အားပေးအပ်ကာဂေဟာဇိ ရှေ့မှထမ်းယူသွားစေ၏။-

24 ၂၄ သူတို့သည်ဧလိရှဲနေထိုင်ရာတောင်ကုန်းသို့ရောက် သောအခါ ဂေဟာဇိသည်အိတ်နှစ်လုံးကိုယူ၍အိမ် ထဲသို့သယ်ဆောင်သွားလေသည်။ ထိုနောက်နေမန်၏ အစေခံများအားပြန်၍လွှတ်လိုက်၏။-

25 ၂၅ သူသည်အိမ်ထဲသို့ပြန်၍ဝင်လာသောအခါဧလိ ရှဲက``အဘယ်သို့သွားနေပါသနည်း'' ဟုမေး၏။ ဂေဟာဇိက``အရှင်၊ ကျွန်တော်အဘယ်ကိုမျှ မသွားပါ'' ဟုပြန်ပြော၏။

26 ၂၆ သို့ရာတွင်ဧလိရှဲက``သင်နှင့်တွေ့ဆုံရန်ထိုသူ ရထားပေါ်မှဆင်းရာအရပ်သို့ ငါ၏စိတ်ဝိညာဉ် သည်ရောက်ရှိခဲ့သည်မဟုတ်လော။ ဤအချိန်သည် ငွေ၊ အထည်၊ သံလွင်ဥယျာဉ်၊ စပျစ်ဥယျာဉ်၊ သိုး၊ နွား၊ အစေခံများကိုခံယူရန်အချိန်မဟုတ်။-

27 ၂၇ ယခုနေမန်၏ရောဂါသည်သင့်အပေါ်သို့သက် ရောက်၍ သင်နှင့်သင့်သားမြေးတို့၌ထာဝစဉ်စွဲ ကပ်နေလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုဆို၏။ ဂေဟာဇိထွက်သွား ချိန်၌ထိုရောဂါစွဲကပ်သဖြင့် သူ၏ကိုယ်သည် မိုးပွင့်ကဲ့သို့ဖြူလျက်နေ၏။
