၁ ပေတရု 3
1 ၁ ထိုနည်းတူစွာဇနီးတို့၊ သင်တို့ခင်ပွန်းများ ၏အုပ်စိုးခြင်းကိုဝန်ခံကြလော့။ ဤနည်းအား ဖြင့်သင်တို့တွင်ဘုရားသခင်၏နှုတ်ကပတ်တော် ကိုမယုံကြည်သူခင်ပွန်းများရှိပါမူ သင်တို့ ၏အကျင့်အကြံအပြုအမူကသူတို့အား ယုံကြည်လာစေလိမ့်မည်။ သင်တို့နှုတ်ဖြင့်ပြော ရန်ပင်မလိုပေ။-
Similarly, wives, be submissive to your own husbands, so that even if some are disobedient to the Word, they may be won over, without a word, by the conduct of their wives
2 ၂ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်သင်တို့အဘယ်မျှ စိတ်ထားဖြူစင်သည်ကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ ဘုရား တရားရိုသေကိုင်းရှိုင်းသည်ကိုလည်းကောင်း သူတို့တွေ့မြင်မည်ဖြစ်သောကြောင့်တည်း။-
(having watched your pure behavior accompanied by respect),
3 ၃ သင်တို့၏ရုပ်ရည်လှပမှုသည်အပြင်အပ လက္ခဏာများဖြစ်သောဖီးလိမ်းဝတ်စားမှု၊ ကျောက်မျက်ရတနာဆင်ယင်မှုတို့အပေါ် တွင်မတည်စေဘဲ၊-
whose adorning should not be the outward one of braiding hair and wearing gold, or putting on fine clothing,
4 ၄ မိမိတို့အတွင်းစိတ်နှလုံးနှင့်ဆိုင်သော နူးညံ့သိမ်မွေ့သည့်သဘောတည်းဟူသော ထာဝစဉ်လှပမှုပေါ်တွင်တည်စေကြလော့။ ယင်းလှပမှုသည်ဘုရားသခင်ရှေ့တော် မှောက်၌၊ အလွန်အဖိုးထိုက်ပေသည်။-
but rather the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible adorning of the gentle and quiet spirit that is of great value before God.
5 ၅ ရှေးအခါကဘုရားတရားကြည်ညို၍ ဘုရားသခင်ကိုမျှော်လင့်ကိုးစားသော အမျိုးသမီးတို့သည် မိမိတို့ခင်ပွန်းများ ၏စကားကိုနားထောင်ခြင်းအားဖြင့်လှပ အောင်တန်ဆာဆင်ကြ၏။-
For this is how the holy women who hoped in God in former times also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands,
6 ၆ ဥပမာပြောရသော်စာရာသည်အာဗြဟံ ၏စကားကိုနားထောင်၏။ အာဗြဟံကိုသခင် ဟုခေါ်၏။ သင်တို့သည်မည်သည်ကိုမျှကြောက်ရွံ့ ခြင်းမရှိဘဲ ကောင်းမြတ်သည့်အကျင့်ကိုပြု ကျင့်ပါလျှင်စာရာ၏သမီးများဖြစ်ကြ၏။
as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him ‘lord’, whose (f) daughters you became by doing good and not being afraid of any intimidation.
7 ၇ ထိုနည်းတူစွာခင်ပွန်းတို့၊ သင်တို့သည်မိမိတို့ ဇနီးများအားနွဲ့သူများဖြစ်သည်ကိုထောက်၍ သူတို့နှင့်ပေါင်းသင်းနေထိုင်ရကြမည်။ သူတို့ သည်သက်ဆိုင်ရာဆုကျေးဇူးကိုသင်တို့နှင့် အတူခံစားရကြမည့်သူများဖြစ်သဖြင့် သင်တို့သည်သူတို့ကိုလေးစားစွာဆက်ဆံ ရကြမည်။ သို့မှသာသင်တို့၏ပတ္ထနာများ ကိုအဆီးအတားရှိမည်မဟုတ်။
Similarly, husbands, live together knowledgeably as with a weaker vessel, according honor to the wife especially as being a joint heir of the grace of life, for your prayers not to be hindered.
8 ၈ နောက်ဆုံးဖော်ပြလိုသည်မှာ သင်တို့သည် တစ်စိတ်တစ်ဝမ်းတည်းရှိကြလော့။ စာနာ ထောက်ထား၍တစ်ယောက်ကိုတစ်ယောက် ညီ ရင်းအစ်ကိုကဲ့သို့ချစ်ကြလော့။ ကြင်နာ သနားတတ်သောသဘော၊ နှိမ့်ချတတ်သော သဘောရှိကြလော့။-
Finally, all of you be like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous,
9 ၉ အဆိုးကိုအဆိုးအားဖြင့်လည်းကောင်း၊ ကျိန် ဆဲခြင်းကိုကျိန်ဆဲခြင်းအားဖြင့်လည်းကောင်း တုံ့ပြန်ခြင်းမပြုကြနှင့်။ ယင်းသို့ပြုမည့် အစားကောင်းချီးပေးကြလော့။ အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဆိုသော် ဘုရားသခင်ကတိထားတော်မူသည့် ကောင်းချီးမင်္ဂလာကိုခံစားစေရန် သင်တို့ အားကိုယ်တော်ခေါ်ယူရွေးကောက်တော်မူခဲ့ သောကြောင့်တည်း။-
not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but instead blessing, knowing that you were called to this so that you may inherit a blessing.
10 ၁၀ အောက်ပါကျမ်းစာတော်အရဖော်ပြသည် နှင့်အညီဖြစ်သည်။ ``မိမိဘဝကိုချစ်မြတ်နိုး၍စီးပွားချမ်း သာကို အလိုရှိသူသည်၊ မိမိ၏လျှာကိုမညစ်ညမ်းစေရန်ထိန်းသိမ်း ရမည်။ မိမိနှုတ်ကိုလည်းလိမ်လည်လှည့်ဖြားမှုနှင့် ကင်းစေရမည်။
For: “The one who wants to love life and to see good days must refrain his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit;
11 ၁၁ သူသည်ဒုစရိုက်ကိုရှောင်ရှားလျက် သုစရိုက်ကိုပြုရမည်။ ငြိမ်းချမ်းမှုအတွက်အစွမ်းကုန်ကြိုးပမ်း ရမည်။
he must turn away from evil and do good; he must seek peace, even pursue it.
12 ၁၂ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ဖြောင့်မတ်သူတို့အား၊ကြည့်ရှုစောင့်ရှောက်တော်မူ၍ သူတို့၏ဆုတောင်းပတ္ထနာများကို၊ နားညောင်းတော်မူသောကြောင့်တည်း။ သို့ရာတွင်ဒုစရိုက်ပြုသူတို့ထံမှ မျက်နှာလွှဲတော်မူ၏။''
Because the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears open to their prayer; but the face of the Lord is against those doing evil.”
13 ၁၃ သို့ဖြစ်၍သုစရိုက်တရားကိုသင်တို့ခုံမင် စွဲလမ်းကြပါမူအဘယ်သူသည်သင်တို့အား ဘေးသင့်စေနိုင်မည်နည်း။-
Now who is he who will harm you if you become imitators of the good?
14 ၁၄ သို့ရာတွင်အကယ်၍သင်တို့သည်အမှန်တရား ကိုကျင့်သုံးမှုကြောင့်ဒုက္ခဆင်းရဲခံရသော်မင်္ဂ လာရှိကြ၏။ မည်သူအားမျှမကြောက်ကြနှင့်။ မစိုးရိမ်ကြနှင့်။-
But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you are blessed. “Do not fear what they fear, neither be troubled.”
15 ၁၅ သို့ရာတွင်သင်တို့စိတ်နှလုံးတွင်ခရစ်တော် ကိုရိုသေကိုင်းရှိုင်း၍အရှင်သခင်အဖြစ်ဖြင့် ခံယူကြလော့။ သင်တို့ခံယူရရှိသည့်မျှော် လင့်ချက်အကြောင်းကိုစစ်ဆေးမေးမြန်းလာ သူအားအချိန်မရွေးရှင်းလင်းဖော်ပြရန် အသင့်ရှိကြလော့။-
Rather, sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready with an answer for everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with meekness and respect;
16 ၁၆ သို့ရာတွင်သိမ်မွေ့ရိုသေစွာဖြေကြားကြလော့။ သင်တို့အားမတရားဝေဖန်၍စော်ကားပြောဆို သူတို့သည် ခရစ်တော်၏တပည့်များအနေဖြင့် သင်တို့ပြုမူပုံကောင်းမွန်သင့်မြတ်သည်ကိုမြင် ၍အရှက်ရကြစေရန် သင်တို့၏သြတ္တပ္ပစိတ် ကိုကြည်လင်စေကြလော့။-
keeping a good conscience, so that wherein they speak against you as evildoers, those who revile your good way of life in Christ may be put to shame.
17 ၁၇ သုစရိုက်ကိုပြုသဖြင့်ဆင်းရဲဒုက္ခရောက်ခြင်း သည်ဘုရားသခင်၏အလိုတော်အရဖြစ်လျှင် ယင်းသည်ဒုစရိုက်ကိုပြုခြင်းထက်ပို၍ ကောင်း၏။-
For it is better to suffer for doing good, should the will of God so determine, than for doing evil.
18 ၁၈ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်ခရစ်တော်ကိုယ်တိုင် ပင်လျှင် ငါတို့၏အပြစ်များအတွက်အပြီး အပိုင်အသေခံတော်မူခဲ့သောကြောင့်ဖြစ်၏။ ကိုယ်တော်သည်သူတော်စင်ဖြစ်တော်မူ၍မသူ တော်တို့အတွက်အသေခံတော်မူလေပြီ။ ယင်း သို့ပြုတော်မူခြင်းမှာသင်တို့အားဘုရား သခင်ထံတော်သို့ပို့ဆောင်ပေးရန်ပင်ဖြစ်၏။ ကိုယ်တော်သည်ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာအားဖြင့်အသေ သတ်ခြင်းကိုခံရသော်လည်းဝိညာဉ်အား ဖြင့်အသက်ပြန်၍ရှင်တော်မူ၏။-
Because Christ also suffered on account of sins, once for all, the righteous on behalf of the unrighteous, that He might bring us to God; having been put to death, to be sure, in flesh, but having been made alive in spirit;
19 ၁၉ ဝိညာဉ်အားဖြင့်ကိုယ်တော်သည်အကျဉ်းကျ လျက်နေသောဝိညာဉ်များထံသို့သွားရောက် ၍တရားဟောတော်မူ၏။-
in which He also went and made a proclamation to the spirits in prison
20 ၂၀ ထိုဝိညာဉ်တို့ကားသင်္ဘောကိုနောဧတည်ဆောက် လျက်နေစဉ်တွင် သည်းခံစောင့်ဆိုင်းလျက်နေတော် မူသောဘုရားသခင်၏စကားကိုနားမထောင် ခဲ့သူတို့၏ဝိညာဉ်များပင်ဖြစ်သတည်း။ သို့ ရာတွင်ရေအားဖြင့်ကယ်ဆယ်ခြင်းခံရသူ များမှာသင်္ဘောပေါ်တွင်အနည်းငယ်သာရှိ ၍အရေအတွက်အားဖြင့်ရှစ်ယောက်မျှသာ ဖြစ်၏။-
who formerly were disobedient, when the patience of God kept waiting in the days of Noah, while the Ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is eight, souls were brought safely through water.
21 ၂၁ ဤတွင်ရေဟုဆိုရာ၌သင်တို့ကိုယခုကယ် တင်သောဗတ္တိဇံမင်္ဂလာကိုပုံဆောင်ပေသည်။ ဗတ္တိဇံမင်္ဂလာခံယူခြင်းသည်ကိုယ်ကာယ အညစ်အကြေးများကိုသန့်စင်ဆေးကြော ခြင်းမဟုတ်။ သြတ္တပ္ပစိတ်ကြည်လင်စွာဖြင့် ဘုရားသခင်၏ရှေ့တော်၌ကတိသစ္စာပြု ခြင်းဖြစ်ပေသည်။ သေခြင်းမှသခင်ယေရှု ခရစ်ရှင်ပြန်ထမြောက်တော်မူခြင်းကို အကြောင်းပြု၍ သင်တို့သည်ဗတ္တိဇံအား ဖြင့်ကယ်တင်ခြင်းကိုခံရကြ၏။-
This is an antitype of baptism, that now saves us also (not the removal of physical filth, but the appeal into God from a good conscience) through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
22 ၂၂ ထိုသခင်သည်ကောင်းကင်ဘုံသို့ဝင်တော်မူ ၍ ယခုအခါဘုရားသခင်လက်ယာတော် ဘက်တွင်ရှိတော်မူပြီးလျှင်ကောင်းကင်တမန် များ၊ ကောင်းကင်အာဏာပိုင်များနှင့်တန်ခိုး ရှင်များကိုအုပ်စိုး၍နေတော်မူ၏။
who is at the right hand of God, having gone into heaven, angels and authorities and powers having been made subject to Him.
