၃ ဓမ္မရာဇဝင် 5
1 ၁ တုရုဘုရင်ဟိရံသည် ဒါဝိဒ်မင်း၏အဆွေ တော်အဖြစ်နှင့်အစဉ်နေထိုင်ခဲ့သူဖြစ်၏။ ထို့ကြောင့်ခမည်းတော်ဒါဝိဒ်၏အရိုက်အရာ ကိုရှောလမုန်ဆက်ခံ၍ နန်းတက်သည့်အကြောင်း ကိုကြားသိသောအခါသံတမန်များကို ရှောလမုန်ထံသို့စေလွှတ်လေသည်။-
And Hiram king of Tyre sent his servants to Solomon; for he had heard that they had anointed him king in the room of his father: for Hiram was ever a lover of David.
2 ၂ ရှောလမုန်သည်ဟိရံအား``ကျွန်ုပ်ခမည်း တော်ဒါဝိဒ်သည် မိမိပတ်လည်ရှိရန်သူ နိုင်ငံများကိုအမြဲတစေတိုက်ခိုက်လျက် နေရသဖြင့် သူ၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရ ဘုရားကိုဝတ်ပြုရန်အတွက် ဗိမာန်တော် ကိုမတည်မဆောက်နိုင်ခဲ့ကြောင်းအဆွေ တော်သိပါ၏။ သူ၏ရန်သူအပေါင်းတို့ အား ထာဝရဘုရားမနှိမ်နင်းမချင်း သူသည်ဗိမာန်တော်ကိုမတည်မဆောက် နိုင်ပါ။-
And Solomon sent to Hiram, saying,
3 ၃
Thou knowest how that David my father could not build a house to the name of the LORD his God, for the wars which were about him on every side, until the LORD put them under the soles of his feet.
4 ၄ သို့ရာတွင်ယခုအခါ၌ကျွန်ုပ်၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ပတ်ဝန်းကျင် အရပ်ရပ်၌ငြိမ်းချမ်းသာယာမှုကိုပေး တော်မူပါပြီ။ ကျွန်ုပ်မှာရန်သူမရှိပါ။ ရန် သူတိုက်ခိုက်မည့်အန္တရာယ်လည်းမရှိပါ။-
But now the LORD my God hath given me rest on every side, [so that there is] neither adversary nor evil occurrent.
5 ၅ ထာဝရဘုရားကကျွန်ုပ်၏ခမည်းတော် အား`သင့်နောက်၌ငါမင်းမြှောက်မည့်သူသင် ၏သားသည် ငါ့အတွက်ဗိမာန်တော်ကို တည်ဆောက်လိမ့်မည်' ဟုကတိထားတော် မူခဲ့ပါ၏။ ကျွန်ုပ်၏ဘုရားသခင်ထာဝရ ဘုရားအားကိုးကွယ်ဝတ်ပြုရန်အတွက် ထိုဗိမာန်တော်ကိုတည်ဆောက်ရန်ယခု ကျွန်ုပ်စိတ်ပိုင်းဖြတ်လိုက်ပါပြီ။-
And behold, I purpose to build a house to the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spoke to David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build a house to my name.
6 ၆ သို့ဖြစ်၍ကျွန်ုပ်အတွက်သစ်ကတိုးပင် များကိုခုတ်လှဲပေးရန် လေဗနုန်တောသို့ အဆွေတော်၏လူတို့ကိုစေလွှတ်ပေးစေ လိုပါသည်။ ကျွန်ုပ်အစေခံများသည်လည်း ကူညီစေပါမည်။ အဆွေတော်ဆုံးဖြတ် သည့်အခကြေးငွေကိုကျွန်ုပ်ပေးပါမည်။ အဆွေတော်သိသည့်အတိုင်း ကျွန်ုပ်၏လူ တို့သည်အဆွေတော်၏လူတို့ကဲ့သို့သစ် ခုတ်မှုတွင်မကျွမ်းကျင်ကြပါ'' ဟုမှာ ကြားလိုက်၏။
Now therefore command thou, that they hew me cedar trees out of Lebanon; and my servants shall be with thy servants: and to thee will I give hire for thy servants according to all that thou shalt appoint: for thou knowest that [there is] not among us any that is skilled in hewing timber like the Sidonians.
7 ၇ ရှောလမုန်မင်းမှာကြားသောစကားကို ကြားရသောအခါ ဟိရံမင်းသည်လွန်စွာ အားရနှစ်သက်သဖြင့်``ဤသို့ကြီးမားသည့် နိုင်ငံတော်ကိုအုပ်စိုးရန်အတွက် ဒါဝိဒ် အားဤမျှပညာရှိသောသားကိုပေးတော် မူသောထာဝရဘုရားအား ယနေ့ထော မနာပြုကြလော့'' ဟုမြွက်ဆိုတော်မူ၏။-
And it came to pass, when Hiram heard the words of Solomon, that he rejoiced greatly, and said, Blessed [be] the LORD this day, who hath given to David a wise son over this great people.
8 ၈ ထိုနောက်ဟိရံသည် ရှောလမုန်ထံသို့``အဆွေ တော်ပေးပို့သောအမှာတော်စကားကိုကြား သိပါပြီ။ ကျွန်ုပ်သည်အဆွေတော်မှာကြား လိုက်သည့်အတိုင်းဆောင်ရွက်ရန်အသင့်ရှိ ပါ၏။ အဆွေတော်၏ထံသို့သစ်ကတိုး နှင့်ထင်းရှူးသစ်များကိုပေးပို့လိုက်ပါ မည်။-
And Hiram sent to Solomon, saying, I have considered the things which thou sentest to me for: [and] I will perform all thy desire concerning timber of cedar, and concerning timber of fir.
9 ၉ ကျွန်ုပ်၏လူတို့သည်သစ်လုံးများကိုလေ ဗနုန်တောင်မှပင်လယ်ကမ်းခြေအထိယူ ဆောင်ကာဖောင်ဖွဲ့၍ အဆွေတော်အလိုရှိ ရာဆိပ်ကမ်းသို့မျှောချပေးပါမည်။ သူ တို့သည်ထိုဆိပ်ကမ်းတွင်ဖောင်များကို ဖျက်၍ သစ်လုံးများကိုအဆွေတော်၏လူ တို့အားပေးအပ်ကြပါမည်။ အဆွေတော် အနေဖြင့်ကျွန်ုပ်၏လူများအတွက်စား နပ်ရိက္ခာကိုထောက်ပံ့စေလိုပါသည်'' ဟု ပြန်ကြားလိုက်၏။
My servants shall bring [them] down from Lebanon to the sea: and I will convey them by sea in floats to the place that thou shalt appoint me, and will cause them to be discharged there, and thou shalt receive [them]: and thou shalt accomplish my desire, in giving food for my household.
10 ၁၀ ထို့ကြောင့်ဟိရံကရှောလမုန်လိုသမျှ သော သစ်ကတိုးနှင့်ထင်းရှူးသစ်ကိုပေးပို့၍၊-
So Hiram gave Solomon cedar trees and fir trees [according to] all his desire.
11 ၁၁ ရှောလမုန်ကလည်းဟိရံ၏လူများစားသုံး ရန်အတွက် တစ်နှစ်လျှင်ဂျုံဆန်တင်းတစ်သိန်း နှင့်သံလွင်ဆီအစစ်ဂါလံတစ်သိန်းတစ် သောင်းကိုပေးပို့လေသည်။
And Solomon gave Hiram twenty thousand measures of wheat [for] food to his household, and twenty measures of pure oil: thus gave Solomon to Hiram year by year.
12 ၁၂ ထာဝရဘုရားသည်ကတိတော်ရှိသည့်အတိုင်း ရှောလမုန်အားဉာဏ်ပညာကိုပေးတော်မူ၏။ ဟိရံနှင့်ရှောလမုန်တို့သည်ငြိမ်းချမ်းစွာ နေထိုင်လျက် မဟာမိတ်စာချုပ်ချုပ်ဆိုကြ လေသည်။
And the LORD gave Solomon wisdom, as he promised him: and there was peace between Hiram and Solomon; and they two made a league together.
13 ၁၃ ရှောလမုန်သည်ဣသရေလပြည်တစ်ပြည်လုံး မှ လူသုံးသောင်းကိုချွေးတပ်သားအဖြစ်ဖြင့် ဆင့်ခေါ်တော်မူပြီးလျှင်၊-
And king Solomon raised a levy out of all Israel; and the levy was thirty thousand men.
14 ၁၄ အဒေါနိရံအားသူတို့ကိုအုပ်ချုပ်စေတော် မူ၏။ မင်းကြီးသည်ထိုသူတို့အားလူတစ် သောင်းစီအဖွဲ့သုံးဖွဲ့ဖွဲ့တော်မူ၍ တစ်ဖွဲ့ကို တစ်လကျလေဗနုန်တောင်သို့စေလွှတ်ပြီး လျှင် နှစ်လမျှအိမ်သို့ပြန်၍နေထိုင်ခွင့်ပြု တော်မူ၏။-
And he sent them to Lebanon ten thousand a month by courses; a month they were in Lebanon, [and] two months at home. And Adoniram [was] over the levy.
15 ၁၅ ရှောလမုန်သည်ကျောက်ဆစ်ရန်လူရှစ်သောင်း ကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ ကျောက်သယ်မည့်သူလူခုနစ် သောင်းနှင့်အတူတောင်ပေါ်ဒေသသို့စေ လွှတ်တော်မူ၏။-
And Solomon had seventy thousand that bore burdens, and eighty thousand hewers in the mountains;
16 ၁၆ ထို့နောက်မင်းကြီးသည်ထိုသူတို့၏အလုပ် ကိုကြီးကြပ်သူ လူသုံးထောင်သုံးရာကိုခန့် ထားတော်မူ၏။-
Besides the chief of Solomon's officers who [were] over the work, three thousand and three hundred, who ruled over the people that wrought in the work.
17 ၁၇ ရှောလမုန်မင်း၏အမိန့်တော်အရထို ချွေးတပ်သားတို့သည် ဗိမာန်တော်တိုက်မြစ် အတွက်ကျောက်တုံးကြီးများကိုဆစ်ရ ကြ၏။-
And the king commanded, and they brought great stones, costly stones, [and] hewed stones, to lay the foundation of the house.
18 ၁၈ ရှောလမုန်၏အလုပ်သမားများနှင့်ဟိရံ၏ အလုပ်သမားများသည်ဗိမာန်တော်ဆောက်လုပ် ရန်အတွက် ဂေဗာလမြို့သားများနှင့်အတူ ကျောက်များနှင့်သစ်များကိုပြင်ဆင်ကြ လေသည်။
And Solomon's builders, and Hiram's builders did hew [them], and the stone-squarers: so they prepared timber and stones to build the house.
