1 Ikabheje ugwe ujiganye majiganyo ga kweli.
But speak thou the things that belong to wholesome doctrine.
2 Gwaajiganyanje bhanangulungwa bhailumanje, na kutungamana na bhakolanje lunda. Bhakolanje ngulupai ya kweli, na pingana na kwiiluma ntima.
And teach the older men to be watchful in their minds, and to be sober, and to be pure, and to be sound in the faith, and in love and in patience.
3 Nneyo peyo na bhanangulungwa bhanabhakongwe bhatamangane ukoto na mitima ja ukonjelo, bhanaalambililanje bhandu, na bhanakolelwanje ukana, ikabhe bhajiganyanje indu ya mmbone.
And so also the elder women, that they be in behavior as becometh the fear of God; and not to be slanderers; and not to be addicted to much wine; and to be inculcators of good things,
4 Nkupinga bhakombolanje kujiganya bhali bhalombilwenje bhaapinganje ashimbuje bhabhonji na ashibhana bhabhonji,
making the younger women to be modest, to love their husbands and their children,
5 bhakolanje lunda, bhaikonjeleyanje, na bhagoyanje nyumba yabhonji, bhabhanganje bha mmbone, na bhakundanje ibhabhalanjilwanga na ashimbuje bhabhonji, nkupinga lilobhe lya a Nnungu linatukanishe.
to be chaste and holy, and to take good care of their households, and to be obedient to their husbands; so that no one may reproach the word of God.
6 Nneyo peyo, gwaakwiyanje bhashanda bhakolanje lunda.
And likewise exhort young men to be sober.
7 Ugwe gunnyene ulanguye mpanda kwa itendi ya mmbone, akuno ulilanguya ishima na ya kweli, mmajiganyo gako,
And in every thing show thyself a pattern, as to all good works: and in thy teaching, let thy discourse be healthful,
8 malobhe gako gagoloshe, nkupinga mundu jwa mitau akole oni, pabha akakola malobhe ga nyata ga kutubheleketa.
such as is sober and uncorrupt; and let no one despise it: so that he who riseth up against us, may be ashamed, seeing he can say nothing odious against us.
9 Mwaajiganyanje bhatumwa bhaakundanje bhakulungwa bhabhonji, bhalikwaanonyeyanga mmaengo gowe, bhanapinganje ya taukangana,
Let servants obey their masters in every thing, and strive to please them, and not contradict, nor pilfer;
10 wala kwaajibhilanga indu yabhonji, ikabhe bhalanguyanje kukulupalika, pabha kwa tenda nneyo, majiganyo ga a Nnungu bhaatapula bhetu, gamanyishe kuti ga mmbone.
but let them manifest that their fidelity, in all respects, is good: so that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Life-giver, in all things.
11 Pabha nema ja a Nnungu jitapula, jiunukwilwe ku bhandu bhowe.
For the all-vivifying grace of God, is revealed to all men;
12 Numbe jinakutujiganya kukana ilebho na ilokoli ya pa shilambolyo, tutame nkwiiluma, na nkupinga ya aki na kutama malimga shibhapinga a Nnungu, nshilambolyo sha nnaino shino, (aiōn g165)
and it teacheth us, to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, and to live in this world in sobriety, and in uprightness, and in the fear of God, (aiōn g165)
13 akuno tulilindilila nnolelo gwa mboka ipinga unukulwa kwa ukonjelo gwa a Nnungu bhetu Bhakulu, na a Yeshu Kilishitu bhaatapula bhetu.
looking for the blessed hope, and the manifestation of the glory of the great God, and our Life-giver, Jesus the Messiah;
14 Bhenebho bhaishoshiye bhayene kwa ligongo lyetu uwe, nkupinga bhatugombole na ilebho yowe, na kwaakonjeleyanga bhandunji bhabhanganje bhandu bhabho, ni bhene bhaatumbilanga kutenda itendi ya mmbone.
who gave himself for us, that he might recover us from all iniquity, and purify for himself a new people, who are zealous in good works.
15 Bhai ugwe ujiganye gene malobhe gano, gwaataganje ntima bhandunji kutenda ya mmbone, na kwakalipilanga kwa mashili gowe, anapagwe mundu jojowe jwa kukunyegaya.
These things speak thou, and exhort, and inculcate, with all authority; and let no one despise thee.
