< Bhaloma 7 >
1 Ashaapwanga, ngunabheleketa na mmanganyanji nkujimanyanga shalia ja a Musha, nkakumumanyanga kuti shalia jinakuntagwala mundu ali jwankoto?
Or are you ignorant, brothers — to those knowing for law I speak — that the law rules over the man for as long as [the] time he is alive?
2 Tujile malinga bhakongwe bhalombilwe, bhanatabhwa na shalia mobha gowe ga gumi gwa ambuje bhabho, ikabheje ambuje mundu bhala bhawaga, shalia jikakwaatabha kabhili bhakongwebho.
The for married woman to the living husband has been bound by law; if however shall die the husband, she has been cleared from the law of the husband.
3 Bhai monaga ambuje mundu bhali bhabhakoto, nilombwa na bhalume bhana, gwenego utwai, ikabheje bhalumebho bhawaga, bhakaatabhwa na shalia. Nkali bhalombwaga na bhalume bhana pangali utwai.
Then therefore while is living the husband an adulteress she will be called if she shall become [married] to man another; if however shall die the husband, free she is from the law which not to be her an adulteress having become [married] to man another.
4 Na malinga mmanganyanji ashaapwanga, nkali mmanganyanji nshikujiwilanga shalia, kwa shiilu sha a Kilishitu nkupinga mmanganje bha bhene bhayushile bhala, nkupinga twaatendele a Nnungu indu ya mmbone.
Likewise, brothers of mine, also you yourselves were put to death to the law through the body of Christ for to belong you to another, to the [One] out from [the] dead having been raised, so that we may bear fruit to God.
5 Pabha, putwaliji nndamo ja kagulila indu ya nshiilu, ilokoli ya yambi guipundile kwa ligongo lya shalia, ilitenda liengo mwiilu yetu nikutupeleshela ku shiwo.
While for we were in the flesh, the passions of sins that [were] through the law were at work in the members of us to the bringing forth of fruit to death;
6 Ikabheje nnaino tugopwelwe nshalia, tuiwilile yatutabhaga ila, nkupinga tukombole ndamo ja ambi ja tumishila ya Mbumu, nngabha malinga bhukala putwatumishilaga shalia jijandishwe.
Now however we have been released from the law having died to that which we were bound, in order for to serve us in newness of [the] Spirit and not in oldness of [the] letter.
7 Bhai, tujile bhuli? Shaliaji ni yambi? Ng'oo! Pabha gwangali shalia nganaimanye yambi shili bhuli, nganakumanye kulokolila kaliji shalia jikanalugule, “Nnalokolile yangali ya mmbone.”
What then will we say? [Is] the law sin? Never would it be! But sin not I have known only except through law; then for covetousness not I had known, only except the law was saying; Not you will covet;
8 Ikabheje yambi guikwete mashili ligongo lya amuli, gushitendile kila ilokoli nkati jangu. Pabha yambi gwangali shalia, iwile.
An occasion however having taken sin through the commandment it produced in me myself all covetousness; apart from for [the] Law sin [is] dead;
9 Numbe nne punaliji najwankoto gwangali shalia, ikabhe jikaishejepe shalia jila, yambi guiyushile na nne gung'wile.
I myself however was alive apart from law once; when was coming however the commandment the sin revived, I myself then died,
10 Nne gumweni kuti, shalia jatumbilile kupeleshela gumi jila, jishipeleshela shiwo.
And proved to be me the commandment that [was] to life this to death;
11 Pabha yambi shikakoleje mashili kwa ligongo lya shalia jila, gushindembile nimulaga.
The for sin an occasion having taken through the commandment deceived me and through it put [me] to death;
12 Bhai shalia ja a Musha ni ja ukonjelo, na amuli jila, ni ja ukonjelo, na ja mmbone, na ja aki.
So indeed the law [is] holy and the commandment [is] holy and righteous and good.
13 Bhai bhuli! Gene gali ga mmbone gala, nne nigabhone ga shiwo? Ng'oo! Ikabheje nkupinga shambi shibhoneshe ukoto kuti ni yambi, shialaya shiwo nkati jangu, kwa pitila lya mmbone lila, nkupinga kwa amuli jila, yambi ipunde nyata kaje.
That which then [is] good to me myself (became *N(k)O*) death? Never would it be! But sin, in order that it may be shown as sin, through that which [is] good to me is working out death, so that may become beyond excess sinful sin through the commandment.
14 Pabha tumumanyi kuti shalia ja a Musha shiumilo shakwe ni indu ikopoka Mmbumu jwa a Nnungu, ikabheje nne namundu jwa kagulila indu ya nshiilu, njiushwa muutumwa gwa yambi.
We know for that the Law spiritual is, I myself however (fleshly *N(k)O*) am sold under sin.
15 Pabha ngakushimanya shingutenda, shingupinga tenda shila, ngaatenda, ikabhe shingaapinga shila ni shingutenda.
What for I do not I understand; not for what I want this I do, but what I hate this I do.
16 Bhai monaga ngunakunda kuti shingutenda nngabha sha mmbone malinga shinatumbilile tenda, penepo ngunakunda kuti, shalia jila ni jammbone.
If now that which not I do want this I do, I consent to the law that [it is] good;
17 Bhai, nngabha nne namwene ngutenda shenesho, ikabhe yambi itama nkati jangu.
In that case now no longer no longer I myself am doing it but that which (is dwelling *NK(o)*) in me myself sin.
18 Pabha nimumanyi kuti, nkati jangu yani nshiilu shangu, shikaatama shindu sha mmbone. Numbe kupinga kutenda indu ya mmbone ngulipinga, ikabheje kutenda ngunalepela.
I know for that nothing dwells in me myself, That is in the flesh of mine, good; for to wish [to do] is present with me, but to do the good not (find. *K*)
19 Pabha shene sha mmbone shingushipinga, ngaatenda, ikabheje shene shangali sha mmbone shingakushipinga ni shingutenda.
Not for that I desire I do good, but that not I do want evil this I practice.
20 Bhai monaga shingakushipinga shila ni shingutenda, nngabha nne namwene ngutenda, ikabhe ni yambi itemi nkati jangu ila.
If now what not I do want (I myself *NK*) this do, no longer no longer I myself who do it but that which is dwelling in me myself sin.
21 Bhai nijimanyi jene kweliji, pungupinga tenda shindu sha mmbone, shipali sha nyata shinguagula tenda.
I find so the principle that which is desiring me myself to do good that me myself evil is present with.
22 Pabha ngunakwiinonyela shalia ja a Nnungu muntima gwangu.
I delight for in the law of God according to the inward man,
23 Ikabheje nshiilu shangu ngunakujibhona shalia jina jinakomana na shalia ja lunda lwangu, nindenda ntumwa jwa shalia ja yambi, jitemi nshiilu shangu jila.
I see however another law in the members of mine warring against the law of the mind of mine and making captive me (to *no*) the law of sin which is being in the members of mine.
24 Nankulaga nangali malanga nne! Gani shandapule na shiilu sha shiwoshi?
O wretched I myself [am] man! Who me will deliver out of the body of death this?
25 Ngunakwaatendela eja a Nnungu, pabha ngunatapulwa na a Yeshu Kilishitu bhakulungwa bhetu! Bhai kwa nneyo nne namwene kwa lunda lwangu ngunatumishila shalia ja a Nnungu, ikabhe kwa shiilu shangu ngunatumishila shalia ja yambi.
(Thanks [be] *N(K)O*) (then *no*) to God through Jesus Christ the Lord of us! Then so myself I myself with the indeed mind serve law of God but [with] the flesh [the] law of sin.
