< Bhaloma 5 >
1 Bhai, pabha tupegwilwe aki kwa ngulupai, tukole ulele kwa a Nnungu, gutuposhele ku Bhakulungwa bhetu a Yeshu Kilishitu.
Therefore, having been pronounced righteous as the result of faith, let us enjoy peace with God through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
2 Kwa ngulupai jetu, bhenebho bhashikutupa nema ja a Nnungu jitutama najo nnaino jino. Bhai, tunakwiipunila kulolela kwetu ukonjelo gwa a Nnungu.
It is through him that, by reason of our faith, we have obtained admission to that place in God’s favor in which we now stand. So let us exult in our hope of attaining God’s glorious ideal.
3 Wala nngabha genegope, ikabhe tunaangalala nkali nshilaje, tulikumumanya kuti liengo lya shilaje, inapeleshela kwiipililila.
And not only that, but let us also exult in our troubles;
4 Na liengo lya kwiipililila, kunapeleshela kulolela, na kwalakwe kunapeleshela kukulupalila.
for we know that trouble develops endurance, and endurance strength of character, and strength of character hope,
5 Kwa nneyo kulolelako kukatutokomaya, pabha kupinga kwa a Nnungu kushibhikwa nigumbala mmitima jetu na Mbumu jwa Ukonjelo jutupegwilwe.
and that hope never disappoints. For the love of God has filled our hearts through the Holy Spirit which was given us;
6 Pabha putwaliji twangali mashili, malanga gayene gakaishileje, a Kilishitu gubhawile kwa ligongo lya bhakwetenje yambi.
seeing that, while we were still powerless, Christ, in God’s good time, died on behalf of the godless.
7 Pabha inakomala mundu kuwa, kwa ligongo lika mundu akwete aki, ikabheje ilikomboleka mundu kulinga kuwa kwa ligongo lika mundu jwa mmbone.
Even for an upright person scarcely anyone will die. For a really good person perhaps someone might even dare to die.
8 Ikabheje a Nnungu bhayene bhanakutulanguya shibhakuti kutupinga uwe, pabha a Kilishitu bhashinkuwa kwa ligongo lyetu, putwaliji na yambi.
But God puts his love for us beyond all doubt by the fact that Christ died on our behalf while we were still sinners.
9 Bhai nnaino pabha tubhishilwe munkumbi gwa bhandu bhakwete aki kwa kuwa kwabho a Kilishitu, shibhatutapule mu nnjimwa ja a Nnungu.
Much more, then, now that we have been pronounced righteous by virtue of the shedding of his blood, will we be saved through him from the wrath of God.
10 Putwaliji mmagongo na a Nnungu, gubhatupatanishe kwa shiwo shika Mwana gwabho. Na punda penepo, nnaino tushipatanishwa na bhenebho, shibhatutapule kwa gumi gwabho.
For if, when we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, much more, now that we have become reconciled, will we be saved by virtue of Christ’s life.
11 Na nngabha genegope, ikabhe tunakwiinonyela nkulundana na a Nnungu, kupitila Bhakulungwa bhetu a Yeshu Kilishitu, bhatupatanishe na a Nnnugu.
And not only that, but we exult in God, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, through whom we have now obtained this reconciliation.
12 Monaga kwa ligongo lika mundu jumo shambi shashinkukoposhela nshilambolyo na shambisho nikumbuya shiwo, na shiwo gushaaishilenje bhandu bhowe, pabha bhowe bhashilebhanga.
Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and through sin came death; so, also, death spread to all humanity, because every person has sinned.
13 Pabha jikanabhe ika shalia ja a Musha, yambi yaapali pa shilambolyo, ikabheje yambi ikaatolelelwa, jikapagwe shalia.
Even before the time of the Law there was sin in the world; but sin cannot be charged against someone where no Law exists.
14 Ikabheje tandubhila mobha ga a Adamu mpaka a Musha, shiwo shishitagwala nkali ku bhangalebhanga malinga shibhalebhile a Adamu. A Adamu bhaliji shilanda sha bhene bhapinga kwiyabho.
Yet, from Adam to Moses, death reigned even over those whose sin was not a breach of a law, as Adam’s was. And Adam foreshadows the one to come.
15 Ikabheje shilebho sha a Adamu shikalandanywa na nema ja a Nnungu. Pabha nkali yambi ika mundu jumo shanshikubha shiumilo shawa bhandu bhabhagwinjinji, bhai kwa nema jika mundu jumo, yani a Yeshu Kilishitu a Nnungu bhashipunda kwaapanganga bhandunji bhowe, nema na upo yabho.
But there is a contrast between Adam’s offense and God’s gracious gift. For, if by reason of the offense of the one man the whole human race died, far more were the loving kindness of God, and the gift given in the loving kindness of the one man, Jesus Christ, lavished on the whole human race.
16 Gushipagwa ungalandana gwa upo ya a Nnungu, na shambi shika mundu jumo jula. Pabha akalebheje mundu jumo jula, a Nnungu gubhaukumwile mboteko. Ikabheje bhakalebhanjeje bhandunji bhabhagwinji, a Nnungu gubhaapelenje upo yabho nikwaapanganga aki.
There is a contrast, too, between the gift and the results of the one man’s sin. The judgment, which followed on the one man’s sin, resulted in condemnation, but God’s gracious gift, which followed on many offenses, resulted in a decree of righteousness.
17 Kweli, kwa shambi shika mundu jumo, kuwa kushitagwala kwa ligongo lika mundu jumojo, ikabheje imanyishe ukoto kuti shatendile mundu juna, yani a Yeshu Kilishitu, shishipunda kaje. Bhowe bhaaposhelanga nema na upo ja tendwa bhakwete aki, shibhatagwalanje mugumi kupitila mundu jumo a Yeshu Kilishitu.
For if, by reason of the offense of the one man, death reigned through that one man, far more will those, on whom God’s loving kindness and his gift of righteousness are lavished, find life, and reign through the one man, Jesus Christ.
18 Bhai, malinga kwa shambi shika mundu jumo bhandu bhowe bhashiukumulwanga, nneyo peyo kwa shitendi sha aki shika mundu juna yani a Yeshu Kilishitu, shishikwapanganga bhandu bhowe aki na gumi.
Briefly then, just as a single offense resulted for all humanity in condemnation, so, too, a single decree of righteousness resulted for all humanity in that declaration of righteousness which brings life.
19 Na ibhaga kulebha kuka mundu jumo, bhandu bhabhagwinjinji bhashibhonekanga na yambi, nneyo peyo kukunda kuka mundu juna, yani a Yeshu Kilishitu, bhandu bhabhagwinjinji kushikwaatendanga bhapatanje aki.
For, as through the disobedience of the one man the whole human race was rendered sinful, so, too, through the obedience of the one, the whole human race will be rendered righteous.
20 Ikabheje shalia ja a Musha jikaisheje na shambi shikupundaga, na shambi shikapundeje, na nema gujipundile kujenjesheka.
Law was introduced in order that offenses might be multiplied. But, where sins were multiplied, the loving kindness of God was lavished the more,
21 Malinga yambi puitegwele kwa shiwo, nnepeyo na nema jinatagwala kwa aki, nipeleshela gumi gwa pitipiti, kupitila a Yeshu Kilishitu Bhakulungwa bhetu. (aiōnios )
in order that, just as sin had reigned in the realm of death, so, too, might loving-kindness reign through righteousness, and result in eternal life, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. (aiōnios )
