Bhaloma 10

1 Ashaalongo ajangu, shingupinga nne muntima gwangu na kujuga kwangu kwa a Nnungu Bhaishilaeli, bhatapulwanje.

Brothers, my heart's desire and my prayer to God is for them, that they may be saved.

2 Pabha ngunakong'ondela kuti bhanatumbilanga nkwaatumishila a Nnungu, ikabhe gwangali lunda.

For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.

3 Pabha bhakakumumanyanga a Nnungu shibhakuti kwaapanganga bhandunji aki, bhalilinganga kwiitolela aki jabhonji malinga shibhaapinganga ashaayenenji, akuno bhalikananga kukagula aki ja a Nnungu.

For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.

4 Pabha a Kilishitu ni kutimilila kwa shalia, nkupinga jojowe shaabhakulupalile akole aki.

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

5 Pabha a Musha bhashinkujandika ga aki jipatikana kwa shalia “Mundu akunda shalia, shaatame kwa genego.”

For Moses writes about the righteousness of the law, "The one who does them will live by them."

6 Ikabheje ga aki jipatikana kwa ngulupai jinataya kuti, “Nnabhelekete muntima gwenu kuti, ‘Gani shakwele mpaka kunnungu kupinga kwaatuluya a Kilishitu pai kubhatutapule?

But the righteousness which is of faith says this, "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will go up into heaven?' (that is, to bring Christ down);

7 Wala nnaibhuye, gani shaajende pai kukwaatola a Kilishitu kukopoka ku Jeanamu nikwiya nabho kunani kubhatutapule?’” (Abyssos g12)

or, 'Who will go down into the deep?' (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.)" (Abyssos g12)

8 Ikabheje Majandiko gakuti bhuli? “Lilobhe lya a Nnungu lila pulili tome na mmwe. Mulili nkang'wa jenu na muntima gwenu.” Lyene lilobhelyo, ni lilobhe lya ngulupai litulunguya lila.

But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;" that is, the message of faith that we proclaim;

9 Pabha nkundaga kwa kang'wa jenu kuti a Yeshu ni Bhakulungwa, na kulupalila muntima gwenu kuti a Nnungu bhashinkwaayuya, shintapulwe.

because, if you acknowledge with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 Pabha mundu anakulupalila muntima, nipata aki, na kwa kang'wa jakwe mundu anakunda nitapulwa.

For with the heart one believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth acknowledgment is made, resulting in salvation.

11 Pabha Majandiko ga Ukonjelo ganataya kuti, “Jojowe akwaakulupalila akatokomaywa.”

For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in him will not be put to shame."

12 Pabha kwakwapi kupembula kuti, a Bhayaudi eu Bhagiliki, pabha a Yeshu ni Bhakulungwa bha bhowe, bhashikola ntuka ku bhowe bhakwaajuganga.

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord of all is rich to all who call on him.

13 Pabha jojowe shaajuje kujangutilwa na Bhakulungwa, shaatapulwe.

For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."

14 Bhai shibhaajuganje bhuli bhene bhakakwaakulupalilanga? Numbe shibhaakulupalilanje bhuli bhubhangaapilikananga? Na kabhili shibhapilikananje bhuli gwangali nkulunguya?

How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without someone preaching?

15 Numbe bhalunguyanje bhuli gwangali pelekwa? Malinga shigalugula Majandiko ga Ukonjelo kuti, “Nnole shiikuti konja kwiya kwabhonji bhaalunguyanga Ngani ja Mmbone.”

And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of peace, who bring good news of good things."

16 Ikabheje nngabha bhowe bhakundilenje. Pabha nkali a Ishaya bhakuti, “Mmwe Mmakulungwa, gani akundile ngani jetu?”

But they did not all listen to the Good News. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our report?"

17 Bhai ngulupai shiumilo shakwe ni kupilikana, kwa ngani ja lilobhe lya a Kilishitu.

So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

18 Ikabheje ngunabhuya, bhuli, bhangapilikananga? Elo, bhapilikenenje, “Lilobhe lyabhonji lipilikanishe ku shilambolyo, Na malobhe gabhonji gaishe mpaka ku mpelo gwa shilambolyo.”

But I ask, isn't it rather that they did not hear? On the contrary, "Their voice has gone out to all the earth, their words to the farthest parts of the world."

19 Kabhili ngunabhuya, bhuli bha Ishilaeli bhangamanyanga? Gwa ntai a Musha bhashite, “Shinintendanje nkolanje lupimilo ku bhandunji bhalinginji nngabha bhashilambo. Shininntendanje nkolanje nnjimwa ku bhashilambo bhangumba.”

But I ask, did not Israel know? First Moses says, "I will provoke you to jealousy with that which is not a people. I will make you angry with a foolish nation."

20 Numbe a Ishaya gwangali bhoga bhabhelekete, “Nabhoneshe ku bhandunji bhanganoleyanga, Nailangwiye ku bhandunji bhangamushishiyanga.”

Isaiah is very bold, and says, "I was found by those who did not seek me. I was revealed to those who did not ask for me."

21 Ikabheje ga Ishilaeli bhanabheleketa, “Mui gowe naagolosheyenje makono gangu bhandunji bhangakundanga na bha mitau.”

But as to Israel he says, "All day long I have stretched out my hands to a disobedient and obstinate people."
