1 Gene mobhago, lugwinjili lwa bhandu gulugumbele kabhili. Pabha bhakakwetenjeje shalya, a Yeshu gubhaashemilenje bhaajiganywa bhabho, gubhaalugulilenje,
In those days, when there was a large crowd, and they had nothing to eat, he called the disciples to himself, and said to them,
2 “Ngunakwaabhonelanga shiya bhandunjibha pabha bhashitamangana na nne mobha gatatu na bhangalinji shalya.
"I have compassion on the crowd, because they have stayed with me now three days, and have nothing to eat.
3 Naalugulilangaga bhajabhulangane kunngwabhonji bhalinginji na shibhanga, shibhaondokanje mumpanda, pabha bhananji kubhakopokenje kwatalika.”
If I send them away fasting to their home, they will faint on the way, and some of them have come a long way."
4 Bhaajiganywa bhabho gubhaabhushiyenje a Yeshu, “Putuli pano p akonde, tupate kwei mikate ja jukuta bhandu bhowebha?”
His disciples answered him, "From where could one satisfy these people with bread here in a deserted place?"
5 A Yeshu gubhaabhushiyenje, “Nkwetenje mikate jilingwa?” Gubhaajangwilenje, “Shabha.”
He asked them, "How many loaves do you have?" They said, "Seven."
6 Bhai, gubhaamulishenje bhandu bhatamangane pai. Gubhatolile mikate shabha jila gubhatendile eja kwa a Nnungu, gubhajigebhenye, gubhaapelenje bhaajiganywa bhabho bhaapanganje bhandu, na bhalabhonji gubhaapelenje.
He commanded the crowd to sit down on the ground, and he took the seven loaves. Having given thanks, he broke them, and gave them to his disciples to serve, and they served the crowd.
7 Bhashinkukolanga na yamaki ishokope. A Yeshu gubhatendile eja kwa a Nnungu, gubhaalugulilenje bhaapanganje bhandu.
They had a few small fish. Having blessed them, he said to serve these also.
8 Bhandu gubhalilenje na jukuta. Gubhakundikenyenje malepei gubhagumbeyenje ikapu shabha.
They ate, and were filled. They took up seven baskets of broken pieces that were left over.
9 Bhandu bhalilenje bhala pubhalinginji mbuti elupu nsheshe. A Yeshu gubhaalajilenje bhandu, nikwaalekanga bhajendangane kumui.
Now they were about four thousand. Then he sent them away.
10 Kashokope gubhakwelile mmashua pamo na bhaajiganywa bhabho, gubhapitengene shilambo sha ku Dalumanuta.
Immediately he entered into the boat with his disciples, and came into the region of Dalmanutha.
11 Mapalishayo gubhaikengenenje, gubhatandwibhenje kutaukangana na a Yeshu. Nkwaalinga, gubhapinjilenje bhatende shilangulo kopoka kunnungu.
The Pharisees came out and began to question him, seeking from him a sign from heaven, and testing him.
12 A Yeshu gubhatulwiye mbumu, nigubhashite, “Pakuti alu lubhelekolu lunapinga ilangulo? Kweli ngunakummalanjilanga, alu lubhelekolu lukapegwa shilangulo shoshowe.”
He sighed deeply in his spirit, and said, "Why does this generation seek a sign? Truly I tell you, no sign will be given to this generation."
13 Bhai a Yeshu gubhaaleshilenje, gubhakwelile kabhili mmashua, gubhatandwibhe mwanja gwa jomboka litanda.
And he left them, and got into the boat again, and went to the other side.
14 Bhaajiganywa bhashinkulibhalanga jigala mikate, ikabhe nkate gumope gwapali mumashua.
Now they forgot to take bread; and they did not have more than one loaf in the boat with them.
15 A Yeshu gubhaaleshiyenje bhalinkuti, “Nnolanje! Mwiteiganje na ngedule ya Mapalishayo na ya a Elode.”
He warned them, saying, "Watch out; guard yourselves against the yeast of the Pharisees and the yeast of Herod."
16 Bhaajiganywa gubhatandwibhenje kubheleketa ashaayenenji, “Bhanabheleketa genego pakubha twangali mikate.”
And they began discussing among themselves that they had no bread.
17 A Yeshu gubhamumanyi gubhaalugulilenje, Kwa nndi nnaganishiyanga ga ngajigala mikate? Bhuli, nkanabhe kumumanyangape? Bhuli mitima jenunji jishinonopa?
He, perceiving it, said to them, "Why do you reason that it's because you have no bread? Do you not perceive yet, neither understand? Are your hearts hardened?
18 Bhuli, nkwetenje meyo na nkalolanga? Nkwetenje makutu na nkapilikananga? Bhuli, nkakumbushilanga.
Having eyes, do you not see? Having ears, do you not hear? Do you not remember?
19 Lyene lyubha linagebhenye mikate ng'ano na kwaliyanga bhandu elupu ng'ano? Imwalokotenje ikapu ilingwa ya malepeyo? Gubhajangwilenje “Ikapu likumi limo na ibhili.”
When I broke the five loaves among the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?" They told him, "Twelve."
20 Na punagebhenye mikate shabha na kwaliyanga bhandu elupu nsheshe, imwalokotenje ikapu ilingwa? Gubhajangwilenje, “Shabha.”
"When the seven loaves fed the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?" And they said, "Seven."
21 Bhai, gubhaalugulilenje, “Nkanabhe ng'amulangape?”
He asked them, "Do you not yet understand?"
22 A Yeshu na bhaajiganywa bhabho gubhaikengenenje ku Bhetishaida, gubhaapeleshelenje mundu jumo nangalole, nikwashondelesheya a Yeshu bhankwaye nkupinga alame.
He came to Bethsaida. They brought a blind man to him, and begged Jesus to touch him.
23 A Yeshu gubhankamwile nkono, gubhapite najo kunyenje shijiji. Gubhanng'unile mata mmeyo, gubhankwashiye na makono, gubhammushiye, “Bhuli, ulikushibhona shindu shoshowe?”
He took hold of the blind man by the hand, and brought him out of the village. When he had spit on his eyes, and laid his hands on him, he asked him if he saw anything.
24 Nangalole jula gwalolile, nigwashite, “Ngunakwabhonanga bhandu bhabhagwinji mbuti mikongo jilikwenda.”
He looked up, and said, "I see people; they look like trees walking."
25 Kungai a Yeshu gubhankwashiye kabhili na makono kumeyo, na jwalakwe gwabhalakwile meyo nigwalamile, gwaibhweni indu yowe ukoto.
Then again he laid his hands on his eyes. He made him look up, and was restored, and saw everything clearly.
26 A Yeshu gubhannugulile ajende kunngwakwe nikung'amulisha, “Unabhuje kushijiji!”
He sent him away to his house, saying, "Do not enter into the village."
27 Kungai a Yeshu na bhaajiganywa bhabho gubhapitengenenje muijiji ya ku Kaishalia Pilipi. Bhalinginji mumpanda a Yeshu gubhabhushiyenje bhaajiganywa bhabho, “Bhandu bhakutinji nne gani?”
Jesus went out, with his disciples, into the villages of Caesarea Philippi. On the way he asked his disciples, "Who do people say that I am?"
28 Gubhaajangwilenje, “Bhananji bhakutinji mmwe a Yowana Bhabhatisha na bhananji bhakutinji a Eliya na bhananji bhakutinji jumo jwa munkumbi gwa ashinkulondola bha a Nnungu.”
And they said to him, saying, "John the Baptist, and others say Elijah, but others: one of the prophets."
29 Nabhalabho a Yeshu gubhaabhushiyenje, “Na mmanganya bhuli, nkutinji nne gani?” A Petili gubhaajangwile, “Mmwe a Kilishitu, nng'agwilwe na a Nnungu”
He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Peter answered and said to him, "You are the Messiah."
30 A Yeshu gubhaalimbiyenje bhanannugulilanje mundu jojowe jene nganijo.
He commanded them that they should tell no one about him.
31 A Yeshu gubhatandwibhe kwaajiganyanga bhaajiganywa bhabho kuti, inapinjikwa Mwana juka Mundu apotekwe na kanwa na bhanangulungwa na bhakulungwanji bhaabhishila na bhaajiganya bha shalia. Abhulagwe na lyubha lya tatu shaayushe.
He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
32 A Yeshu bhashinkwaalugulilanga gwangali nng'iyo. Penepo a Petili, gubhaatolile a Yeshu kunyenje na gubhatandwibhe kwaakalipila.
He spoke to them openly. Peter took him, and began to rebuke him.
33 Ikabheje a Yeshu gubhatendebhwishe, gubhaalolilenje bhaajiganywa bhabho, gubhaakalipile a Petili bhalinkuti, “Njoshela apano, Lishetani gwe! Pabha ukaganishiya ga a Nnungu ikabhe ga shigundupe.”
But he, turning around, and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, and said, "Get behind me, Satan. For you have in mind not the things of God, but the things of humans."
34 Kungai a Yeshu gubhaashemilenje bhandu bhagumbelenje bhala na bhaajiganywa bhabho, gubhaalugulilenje, “Mundu jojowe apinga ngagula nne, anapinjikwa aikane nnyene, ajigale nshalabha gwakwe angagule.
He called the crowd to himself with his disciples, and said to them, "If anyone wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
35 Pabha mundu apinga lamya gumi gwakwe shaguobhye, ikabheje akuguobhya gumi gwakwe kwa ligongo lyangu nne na ligongo lya Ngani ja Mmbone, shagutapule.
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever will lose his life for my sake and the sake of the gospel will save it.
36 Bhuli, shiimpwaile indi mundu apegwaga indu yowe ya nshilambolyo showe akuno aliobhya gumi gwakwe?
For what does it profit a person to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?
37 Eu mundu shashoye shindu shashi pa gumi gwakwe?
Or what will a person give in exchange for his soul?
38 Mundu jojowe munkumbi gwa lubheleko lwangakulupalika kwa a Nnungu na lwa yambilu, ashangolele oni nne na malobhe gangu, nne mwana juka Mundu shininkolele oni jwene mundujo, malanga pushing'ishe Muukonjelo gwa Atati pamo na ashimalaika bha Ukonjelo bha kunnungu.”
For whoever will be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man also will be ashamed of him, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels."
