< Maliko 11 >
1 Bhai, bhalinginji tome na ika ku Yelushalemu, gubhaikengenenje ku Bhetipage na ku Bhetania tome na shitumbi sha mikongo jishemwa Misheituni. Gubhaatumilenje bhaajiganywa bhabho bhabhili,
Now when they were drawing near Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, He sent two of His disciples,
2 gubhalugulilenje, “Nnjendangane kushijiji shili mmujo jenunji, pushinnjinjilanje mwenemo, shimung'imananje mwana mbunda atabhililwe, akanabhe jigala mundu. Munngopolanje nkanjiye najonji.
saying to them: “Go into the village opposite you; and as soon as you enter it you will find a foal tied, on which no man has sat. Untie and bring it.
3 Monaga mundu amuyangaga, ‘Pakuti nnatendanga nneyo?’ Munnugulilanje ‘Bhakulungwa bhanakummpinga na shibhamujenajo shangupe.’”
And if anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord has need of it,’ and thereupon he will send it here.”
4 Bhai, gubhapitengenenje, gubhang'imenenje mwana mbunda atabhililwe pa nnango gwa nyumba, nnyenje mpanda njindo, pubhanngopolangaga,
So they went and found the foal tied at the door, out in the street, and they loosed it.
5 bhandu bhananji bhajimingenenje tome na penepo gubhaabhushiyenje, “Kwa nndi nnakungopolanga mwana mbundajo?”
Some of those who stood there said to them, “What are you doing, untying the foal?”
6 Gubhaajangwilenje malinga shibhalajilwenje na a Yeshu, nabhalabhonji gubhaaleshilenje bhajabhulanje.
So they answered them just as Jesus had instructed, and they let them go.
7 Gubhaapeleshelenje a Yeshu mwana mbunda jula. Gubhatandikenje nngubho pantundu jakwe na gubhaakweshienje a Yeshu.
Then they brought the foal to Jesus, and they placed their clothes on it, and He sat on it.
8 Bhandu bhabhagwinji gubhatandikenje nngubho yabhonji mumpanda, na bhananji gubhatandikenje maagala gubhatemilenje mmigunda.
And many spread their clothes on the road, while others were cutting leafy branches from the trees and spreading them on the road.
9 Bhandu bhowe bhalongolelenje na bhakagulangaga nnyuma, gubhautienje lilobhe bhalinkutinji, “Bhainiywe! Bhaposhele mboka bhakwiya kwa lina lya Bhakulungwa!
Both those who went in front and those who followed started calling out, saying: “Hosanna!” “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”
10 Ushipegwa mboka Upalume ukwiya, gwa ainabhetu a Daudi. Bhainiywe a Nnungu kunani kaje kunnungu!”
“Blessed is the Kingdom of our father David that is coming in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest!”
11 A Yeshu gubhajinjile kunjini ku Yelushalemu gubhapelengenye kwenda ku liekalu, gubhalolile indu yowe mowe. Pabha yashinkubha ligulo, gubhabhujile ku Bhetania na bhaajiganywa bhabho likumi limo na bhabhili bhala.
So Jesus entered Jerusalem and went into the temple. And when He had looked around at everything, the hour being late, He went out to Bethany with the twelve.
12 Malabhi gakwe bhalinkushokangana ku Bhetania, a Yeshu gushaapoteshe shibhanga.
Now the next day, as they were leaving Bethany, He was hungry.
13 Bhai, gubhagubhweni nkongo ntini kwa taliya uli na maamba. Gubhagujendele nkuganishiya pana shibhakaiimane iepo. Bhakaisheje gubhagaimene maambape, pabha nngabha miongwe ja ogoya iepo.
And seeing from a distance a fig tree having leaves, He went to see if perhaps He would find something on it. When He came to it He found nothing but leaves, because it was not fig season.
14 A Yeshu gubhaulugulile ntini gula, “Tandubhila lelo na mobha gowe, mundu akalya iepo yako.” Na bhaajiganywa bhabho gubhapilikenenje malobhe gubhabhelekete. (aiōn )
So Jesus reacted by saying to it, “Let no one ever eat fruit from you again!” And His disciples were listening. (aiōn )
15 Bhai, gubhaikengenenje ku Yelushalemu.
So they came to Jerusalem, and entering the temple Jesus began to drive out those who sold and bought in the temple, and He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of the dove sellers.
16 Na wala bhanganneshelela mundu jojowe, kujinjiya wala kopoya shindu ku Liekalu.
And He would not allow anyone to carry a container through the temple.
17 Kungai gubhaajigenyenje bhalinkuti, “Ishijandikwa Mmajandiko ga Ukonjelo kuti, ‘Nyumba jangu shijishemwe nyumba ja jujila kwa bhandu bhowe!’ Ikabheje mmanganya nshikujitendebhuyanga nibha lishembo lya kwiiya bhagwii!”
And He kept teaching them by saying: “Is it not written, ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations’? but you have made it ‘a den of robbers’!”
18 Bhakulungwanji bhaabhishila, na bhaajiganya bha Shalia, bhakapilikananjeje genego, gubhatandwibhenje loleya shanabhuli pushibhaabhulaganje. Ikabheje bhashinkujogopanga, pabha lugwinjili lwa bhandu lwatendaga kanganigwa, kwa majiganyo gabho.
Well the scribes and the chief priests heard it, and kept on looking for a way to destroy Him; because they were afraid of Him, in that all the people were astonished at His teaching.
19 Likaisheje ligulo, a Yeshu na bhaajiganywa bhabho gubhashoshilenje pa nnjini pala.
When evening came, He went out of the city.
20 Pa lyamba lyakwe bhalipitangana, gubhagubhweninji nkongo ntini gula gujumwile gowe kuumila kumbubhu.
Now in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
21 A Petili gubhakumbushile, gubhaalugulile a Yeshu, “Mmajiganya, nnole! Ntini gumuuloshile gula, gujumwile!”
And Peter, remembering, said to Him: “Rabbi, look! The fig tree that you cursed has dried up!”
22 A Yeshu gubhaalugulile, “Nnapinjikwanga mwakulupalilanje a Nnungu.
So in answer Jesus said to them: “Have faith in God.
23 Kweli ngunakunnugulilanga, mundu ashilugulilaga ashi shitumbishi, ‘Tutumbuka ukaileshele mmashi,’ akuno akakola lipamba muntima gwakwe, ikabhe alikulupalila kuti yowe yabheleketayo inatendeka, shatendelwe shene shindusho.
Because I tell you assuredly, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be picked up and be thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that the things he says will happen, he will have whatever he says.
24 Kwa nneyo ngunakunnugulilanga, punkujuganga shindu kwa a Nnungu, nkulupalilanje kuti mpegwilwenje na shimpegwanje.
That is why I say to you, whatever things you ask for in prayer, believe that you receive, and you will have them.
25 Punkujuganga Nnungu, munneshelelanje jojowe annebhilenje, nkupinga Ainabhenunji bhali kunnungu, bhanneshelelanje yambi yenunji.”
“And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your trespasses.
26 “Ikabheje nkaaleshelanje ajenunji, nkali Ainabhenunji bha kunnungu, bhakanneshelelanga yambi yenunji.”
But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your trespasses.”
Then they came again to Jerusalem. And as He was walking in the temple, the chief priests, the scribes and the elders came to Him.
28 Gubhaabhushiyenje, “Nnatenda genega kwa ukulungwa gwashi? Na gani ampele gwene ukulungwa gwa tenda yene indui?”
And they said to Him, “By what authority are you doing these things?” and “Who gave you this authority to do these things?”
29 A Yeshu gubhaalugulilenje, “Shinimmuyanje oti, nnyangulangaga, numbe nne shininnugulilanje ngunatenda yenei kwa ukulungwa gwashi.
So in answer Jesus said to them: “I also will ask you one question; answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I am doing these things.
30 Mashili ga ubhatisho gwa a Yowana kugakopweshe kunnungu eu kubhandu?”
The baptism of John: was it from heaven or from men?”
31 Gubhatandwibhenje kubhuyana ashaayenenji bhalinkutinji, “Tulugulaga kuti kugakopweshe kunnungu, shibhatubhuye pakuti mwangaakulupalilanga?
They considered among themselves, saying: “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say, ‘So why did you not believe him?’
32 Na tulugulaga kuti kugakopweshe ku bhandu, ntape.” Bhangajangulanga nneyo, nkwaajogopanga bhandu, pabha bhowe bhakulupalilenje kuti, a Yowana pubhaliji kweli ankulondola bha a Nnungu.
But if we say, ‘From men’…”—they feared the people, for everyone held John to really be a prophet.
33 Bhai, gubhaajangwilenje a Yeshu, “Tukakukumanya.” Na bhalabho a Yeshu gubhaalugulilenje, “Na nne ngannugulilanga ngunatenda genega kwa mashili gashi.”
So they answered Jesus by saying, “We don't know.” And in answer Jesus said to them, “Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.”
