< Maliko 10 >
1 A Yeshu gubhajabhwile pepala gubhapite ku shilambo sha ku Yudea na mmbali ya ku ng'ambu lushi lwa Yolodani. Bhandu bhabhagwinji gubhaajendelenje kabhili, na bhalabho gubhaajigenyenje malinga shigwaliji nkubho gwabho.
And he arose from there, and came to the border of Judaea, on the other side the Jordan. And great multitudes came to him there; and again he instructed them, as he was accustomed.
2 Bhai, Mapalishayo gubhaajendelenje, gubhabhushiyenje nkwaalinga, “Bhuli, ilipinjikwa jwannume kunneka nkagwe?”
And the Pharisees came to him, and, tempting him, inquired if it were lawful for a man to divorce his wife.
3 A Yeshu gubhaajangwilenje bhalinkuti, “Bhuli a Musha bhannajilenjeje nndi?”
He said to them: What did Moses command you?
4 Na bhalabhonji gubhashitenje, “A Musha bhakundile kuti, jwannume ajandishe talaka anneshe nkagwe.”
They said: Moses permitted us to write a bill of divorce, and send her away.
5 A Yeshu gubhaalugulilenje, “A Musha bhashinkunnjandishilanga jene shaliajo kwa ligongo lya nonopa mitima jenunji.
Jesus answered and said to them: On account of the hardness of your heart, Moses wrote you this precept.
6 Ikabheje kutandubhila kupanganywa kwa shilambolyo, a Nnungu bhashinkupanganya bhandu bhabhili, jwannume na jwankongwe.
But, from the beginning, God made them a male and a female.
7 Kwa nneyo, jwannume shabhalekanje ainagwe na akwabhe nilundana na akagwe,
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and adhere to his wife:
8 numbe shibhabhanganje shindu shimo. Kwa nneyo bhakabhanganga bhabhili ikabhe shindu shimo.
and they two shall be one flesh. Wherefore they are not two, but one flesh.
9 Bhai, shibhalundenye a Nnungu, mundu analekanye.”
What therefore God hath conjoined, let not man separate.
10 Bhakajinjilanjeje kabhili nnyumba, bhaajiganywa bhabho gubhaabhushiyenje ga genego.
And in the house, the disciples asked him again of this matter.
11 Na bhalabho a Yeshu gubhaalugulilenje, “Akwaaleka akagwe nilomba jwankongwe juna, analabhalabha.
And he said to them: Whoever shall divorce his wife, and take another, committeth adultery.
12 Numbe jwankongwe akwaaleka ambujegwe, nilombwa naka jwannume juna, analabhalabha.”
And if a woman shall leave her husband, and marry another, she committeth adultery.
13 Bhandunji bhashinkwapeleshelanga a Yeshu bhana bhashoko bhashoko nkupinga bhaakwayanje, ikabheje bhaajiganywa bhabho gubhaakalipilenje.
And they brought little children to him, that he might touch them. But his disciples rebuked those who brought them.
14 A Yeshu bhakabhoneje nneyo, guyaashimile nigubhaalugulilenje, “Mwaalekanje bhana bhashoko bhashoko bhanyiilanje, wala nnaaibhililanje, pabha Upalume gwa a Nnungu gwa malinga bhene bhanganyabha.
And when Jesus saw it, he was displeased; and he said to them, Suffer little children to come to me, and forbid them not; for of those like them is the kingdom of God.
15 Kweli ngunakummalanjilanga, mundu jojowe akauposhele Upalume gwa a Nnungu malinga mwana jwa nshoko, akajinjila mwenemo.”
Verily I say to you, That whoever doth not receive the kingdom of God, like a little child, shall not enter it.
16 Kungai gubhaajambetenje bhana bhala, nigubhaabhishilenje makono, nikwaajujilanga mboka.
And he took them in his arms, and laid his hand on them and blessed them.
17 A Yeshu bhakatandubheje mwanja gwabho kabhili, mundu jumo gwabhaishile lubhilo, gwabhatindibhalile pamakongono gabho, gwabhabhushiye, “Mmajiganya mmambone, ndende bhuli mbate gumi gwa pitipiti?” (aiōnios )
And as he walked in the way, one ran and fell upon his knees, and asked him, and said: Good Teacher, what must I do, to inherit eternal life? (aiōnios )
18 A Yeshu gubhannjangwile, “Pakuti unanjema najwa mmbone? Jwakwapi ali jwa mmbone ikabheje a Nnungu jikape.
Jesus saith to him: Why callest thou me good? There is none good, but one, God.
19 Gwiimanyi amuli shiikuti lugula, ‘Unalabhelabhe na unabhulaje na unajibhe unakong'ondele unami na unalambile na gwaishimunji ainago na akwenu.’”
Thou knowest the commandments; thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not give false testimony, thou shalt not defraud; honor thy father and thy mother.
20 Nshanda jula gwabhalugulile, “Mmajiganya, gene gowego njikunda tandubhila ushanda gwangu.”
And he answered, and said to him: Teacher, all these have I kept from my childhood.
21 A Yeshu gubhannolile gubhampinjile, nigubhannugulile, “Ushitubhilwa shindu shimo, ujende ukaushe yowe yuukwete, elayo, ukaapanganje bhaalaga, na ugwe shiukole shibhiko kunnungu, kungai ujiye ungagule.”
And Jesus looked on him, and loved him, and said to him: One thing thou lackest. Go, sell all that thou possessest, and give to the poor, and there will be a treasure for thee in heaven; and take thy cross, and come after me.
22 Akapilikaneje genego, gwajabhwile ali ainjishe, pabha ashinkukola indu yaigwinji.
And he was made sad by that speech, and went away sorrowing: for he possessed great riches.
23 A Yeshu gubhalolile akuno na kukuno, gubhaalugulilenje bhaajiganywa bhabho, “Shiibhe ukomu kwa matajili kujinjila mu Upalume gwa a Nnungu.”
And Jesus looked upon his disciples, and said to them: How hard for those who possess wealth, to enter into the kingdom of God!
24 Bhaajiganywa gubhakanganigwenje kwa malobhe gabho. A Yeshu gubhaajangwilenje kabhili, “Ashibhanangu nnolanje, shiishite komala kwa akulupalila mali, kujinjila mu Upalume gwa a Nnungu!
And the disciples wondered at the remark. And Jesus, replied again, and said to them: My children, how hard it is, for those who trust in riches, to enter into the kingdom of God.
25 Ikakomala ngamia kupeleta pa lilanga lya ingano, kupunda akwete indu kujinjila mu Upalume gwa a Nnungu.”
It is easier for a camel to enter the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.
26 Bhaajiganywa bhabho gubhapundilenje kukanganigwa nigubhabhalanjilenenje, “Bhai, igala gani shakombole kutapulwa?”
And they wondered the more, and said among themselves: Who can obtain life!
27 A Yeshu gubhaalolilenje, nigubhashite, “Kubhandu ikakomboleka, ikabheje kwa a Nnungu nngabha nneyo, pabha kwa a Nnungu yowe inakomboleka.”
And Jesus looked on them again, and said to them: With men, this is not possible, but with God it is; for with God all things are possible.
28 A Petili gubhashite, “Nnole, uwe tushileka yowe nikunkagula mmwe.”
And Cephas began to say: Lo, we have left every thing, and have cleaved to thee.
29 A Yeshu gubhashite, “Kweli ngunakummalanjilanga, jwakwa mundu jojowe aleshile nyumba, eu ashapwakwe, eu ashalumbugwe, eu akwabhe, eu ainagwe, eu bhanagwe, eu migunda, kwa ligongo lyangu nne, na kwa ligongo lya Ngani ja Mmbone,
Jesus answered and said: Verily I say to you, There is no man that leaveth houses, or brothers or sisters, or father or mother, or wife or children, for my sake, and for the sake of my tidings,
who will not receive a hundredfold, here in the present time, houses, and brothers and sisters, and mothers and children, and lands, with persecution; and in the world to come eternal life. (aiōn , aiōnios )
31 Ikabheje, bhabhagwinji bhalingi bhantai, shibhabhanganje bha kumpelo, na bhalinginji bha kumpelo, shibhabhanganje bhantai.”
But many are first, who will be last; and last, who will be first.
32 Bhai bhalinginji mumpanda, kujomboka kwenda ku Yelushalemu a Yeshu gubhaalongolelenje, bhaajiganywa bhabho gubhakanganigwenje, na bhakagulangaga bhala gubhajogopenje. A Yeshu gubhaatolilenje bhaajiganywa bhabho kuntemela, gubhatandwibhe kwaalugulilanga, gapinga kwaakoposhela,
And as they were in the way, going up to Jerusalem, Jesus went before them: and they were amazed, and walked after him with trembling. And he took his twelve, and began to tell them what was to befall him.
33 bhalinkuti, “Mpilikananje, tunakwenda ku Yelushalemu, kweneko nne Mwana juka Mundu ngupinga tendebhukwa, nikamuywa ku bhakulungwanji bhaabhishila na bhaajiganya bha shalia, bhalabhonji shibhang'ukumulanje mulagwe, na shibhangamuyanje kubhandu bha ilambo ina,
Behold, we are going to Jerusalem; and the Son of man will be delivered up to the chief priests and the Scribes; and they will condemn him to die, and will deliver him over to the Gentiles.
34 bhalabhonji shibhanyegayanje, ning'unilanga mata na ngomanga na mishapilo, nimulaga na lyubha lya tatu shinyushe.”
And they will mock him, and will scourge him, and will spit in his face, and will kill him; and on the third day he will arise.
35 A Yakobho na a Yowana bhana bha a Shebhedayo, bhashinkwaajendelanga a Yeshu gubhaalugulilenje, “Mmajiganya, tunakunnjuga ntutendele shindu shimo shitupinga kunnjuga.”
And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to him, and said to him: Teacher, we desire that thou wouldst do for us all that we ask.
36 A Yeshu gubhaabhushiyenje, “Nkupinganga nintendelanje nndi?”
He saith to them: What would ye, that I should do for you?
37 Gubhaajangwilenje, “Ntubhishe tutame jumo kunkono gwenu gwa nnilo na juna kunkono gwenu gwa nshinda mu Ukonjelo gwenu.”
They say to him: Grant to us, that one may sit on thy right hand, and the other on thy left, in thy glory.
38 A Yeshu gubhaalugulilenje, “Nkakushimanyanga shinkujuganga! Bhuli, shinkombolanje kuipililila malanga ga mboteko malinga shimbinga pitila nne, eu shinkombolanje kupitila malanga ga mboteko, malinga shingubinga pitila nne?”
But he said to them: Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink the cup, of which I drink? and to be baptized with the baptism, that I am baptized with?
39 Gubhaajangwilenje, “Shitukombole.” A Yeshu gubhaalugulilenje, “Kweli shimwiipilililanje malanga ga mboteko gumbinga pitila nne, na shinkombolanje kupitila malanga ga mboteko, malinga shingubinga pitila nne.
They say to him: We are able. Jesus saith to them: The cup that I drink, ye will drink, and the baptism that I am baptized with, ye will be baptized with:
40 Ikabheje gani shatame nkono nnilo eu kunkono nshinda, nngabha gangu nne, ikabhe shibhapegwanje bhapanjilwenje na a Nnungu bhala.”
But that ye should sit on my right hand and on my left, is not mine o give, except to those for whom it is prepared.
41 Bhaajiganywa bhana bhakapilikananjeje genego, gubhashimilwenje na a Yakobho na a Yowana
And when the ten heard it, they began to murmur against James and John.
42 Kwa nneyo a Yeshu gubhaashemilenje, gubhaalugulilenje “Mmumanyinji kuti, bhene bhaganishiwanga kuti bhaatagwala bha bhandu bha ilambo ina, bhanakwaatagwalanga bhandu kwa mashili, na bhakulungwa bhabhonji bhanakwashishilishiyanga kukunda ukulungwa gwabhonji.
And Jesus called them, and said to them: Ye know, that they who are accounted chiefs of the nations, are their lords; and their great men have authority over them.
43 Ikabheje ikabha nneyo kwa mmanganyanji, apingabha jwankulungwa munkumbi gwenunji, shabhe ntumishi jwenunji.
But it shall not be so among you: but he that would be great among you, must be a servitor to you.
44 Apingabha kalongolele munkumbi gwenunji, shabhe ntumwa jwa bhowe.
And he of you that would be first, must be servant to every one.
45 Pabha nne Mwana juka Mundu nangaika kuutumishilwa, ikabhe kutumishila na shoya gumi gwangu kwa ligongo lya kwaagombolanga bhandu bhabhagwinji.”
And also the Son of man came, not to be served, but to serve; and to give his life a ransom for many.
46 Bhai, gubhaikengenenje ku Yeliko, nabhalabho a Yeshu na bhaajiganywa bhabho pubhashokanganaga shene shilambosho na lugwinjili lwa bhandu, a Bhatimayo anangalole bhaajuga, bhanabhabho a Timayo, bhashinkutama nnyenje mpanda.
And they came to Jericho. And as Jesus went out of Jericho, he and his disciples and a great multitude; Timeus, the son of Timeus, a blind man, was sitting by the side of the way, and begging.
47 Bhakapilikaneje kuti a Yeshu Bhanashaleti bhanapita penepo, gubhatandwibhe kuutiya lilobhe bhalinkuti, “A Yeshu, Mwana jwa a Daudi, mmonele shiya!”
And he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarean; and he began to cry out, and to say: Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
48 Bhandu bhabhagwinji gubhaakalipilenje, nkupinga bhapumule, ikabheje gubhapundile kuutiya lilobhe “Mwana jwa a Daudi monela shiya!”
And many rebuked him, that he might be silent. But he cried out the more, and said: Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.
49 A Yeshu gubhajimi gubhashite, “Mwaashemanje” Bhai, gubhaashemilenje anangalole bhala, gubhaalugulilenje “Mwilume ntima! Nnjinushe bhanakunshema.”
And Jesus stood, and directed him to be called. And they called the blind man, and said to him: Take courage: arise, he calleth thee.
50 Nabhalabho gubhajaile nkogo gula, gubhaumbile, gubhaajendele a Yeshu.
And the blind man cast off his garment and arose, and went to Jesus.
51 A Yeshu gubhaabhushiye, “Nkupinga nintendele nndi?” Anangalole bhala gubhaajangwile, “Mmajiganya ngunapinga nole.”
Jesus said to him: What wilt thou, that I do for thee? And the blind man said to him: Rabbi, that I may have sight.
52 A Yeshu gubhaalugulile, “Nnjabhule, ngulupai jenu jinnammiye. Shangupe gubhatandwibhe kulola kabhili, gubhaakagwile a Yeshu mumpanda.”
And Jesus said to him: Go; thy faith hath procured thee life. And immediately his sight was restored; and he followed after him.
