Luka 17
1 A Yeshu gubhaalugulilenje bhaajiganywa bhabho, “Indu ikwaatendanga bhandu bhatendanje yambi shiikoposhelepe. Ikabheje ole gwakwe jwene mundu akwiitenda ikoposhele jula.
He said to the disciples, "It is impossible that no occasions of stumbling should come, but woe to him through whom they come.
2 Ikaliji mbaya atabhilwe liganga likulungwa lya yajila nnukoi nitumbushiywa mmashi, nngabha kunnebhya jumo bhene bhabhashokobha
It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.
3 Mwiiteiganje! “Monaga mpwenu annebhelaga, munneye, aipetaga, munneshelele.
Watch yourselves. If your brother sins, rebuke him. If he repents, forgive him.
4 Na nkali annebhelaga mala shabha kwa lyubha limo, na kila mwanja alikunjiila akuno alinkuti, ‘Ngunakwiipeta nneshelele’ munneshelele.”
And if he sins against you seven times in the day, and seven times returns to you, saying, 'I repent,' you must forgive him."
5 Mitume gubhaabhalanjilenje Bhakulungwa a Yeshu, “Ntujenjesheye ngulupai.”
The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith."
6 A Yeshu gubhaajangwilenje. “Nkakwetenje ngulupai jishoko kapela ja malinga mmbeju ja aladali, nkakombolenje kuubhalanjila agu nkujugu, ‘Tutumbuka ukaipandishile mbhaali,’ ukampilikenenje.”
The Lord said, "If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you would tell this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea,' and it would obey you.
7 “Ibhaga mundu jumo munkumbi gwenunjimo akwete ntumishi, analima eu anashunga ngondolo. Bhuli, pabhuja kukoposhela kunngunda, shammalanjile ntumishijo. ‘Tenda shangu kuulye shalya’?
But who is there among you, having a servant plowing or keeping sheep, that will say, when he comes in from the field, 'Come immediately and sit down at the table'?
8 Nng'oo! Shammalanjile, ‘Ndeleshela shalya, gwilume undumishile mpaka maliye kulya na ng'wa, penepo numbe ugwe shulye na ng'wa.’
But will he not say to him, 'Prepare my supper, clothe yourself properly, and serve me, while I eat and drink, and afterward you can eat and drink'?
9 Bhuli, mundujo shantendele eja jwene ntumishijo kwa ligongo lya maliya yowe yalajilwe?
Does he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded?
10 Bhai na mmanganya nneyo peyo nkamulangaga yowe innajilwenje, mmeleketanje kuti, ‘Uwe tubhatumishi twangali mbwaiko, tushikamulape maengo getu.’”
Even so you also, when you have done all the things that are commanded you, say, 'We are unworthy servants. We have done our duty.'"
11 A Yeshu bhali mumpanda kwenda ku Yelushalemu bhashinkupita mumpika gwa ku Shamalia na ku Galilaya.
It happened as he was on his way to Jerusalem, that he was passing along the borders of Samaria and Galilee.
12 Bhalijinjila nshilambo shimo, bhandunji kumi bhamangundula bhashinkwajiilanga a Yeshu, gubhajimingene kwa taliya.
As he entered into a certain village, ten men who were lepers met him, who stood at a distance.
13 Gubhautiyenje lilobhe bhalinkutinji, “Mmakulungwa a Yeshu, ntubhonele shiya!”
They lifted up their voices, saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us."
14 A Yeshu bhakaabhonanjeje gubhaabhalanjilenje, “Nnjendangane nkailangulanje kubhaabhishila.” Bhai, akuno bhalikwendangana, gubhalamilenje.
When he saw them, he said to them, "Go and show yourselves to the priests." It happened that as they went, they were cleansed.
15 Jumo jula akabhoneje kuti alamile, gwabhujile alikwaakuya a Nnungu kwa lilobhe lya utiya.
One of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice.
16 Gwatindibhele pa makongono ga a Yeshu nkutenda eja. Jwenejo paaliji Nshamalia.
He fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks; and he was a Samaritan.
17 Ikabheje a Yeshu gubhabhushiye, “Bhuli, nngabha bhandu kumi bhalamiywenje? Tisha bhala bhalinginji kwei?
Jesus answered, "Weren't the ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
18 Bhakwapinji bhandu bhananji bhabhujilengene kukwaakuya a Nnungu, ikabhe nnjenipeju?”
Were there none found who returned to give glory to God, except this stranger?"
19 Kungai gubhammalanjile mundu jula, “Jinuka gwiijendele, ngulupai jako jikulamiye.”
Then he said to him, "Get up, and go your way. Your faith has healed you."
20 Lyubha limo, Ashimapalishayo bhashinkwaabhuyanga a Yeshu, “Upalume gwa a Nnungu puukwiya shakani?” Gubhaajangwilenje, “Upalume gwa a Nnungu ukaika kwa bhoneka.
Being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, he answered them, "The kingdom of God does not come with observation;
21 Wala bhakabheleketanga, ‘Aguno apano’ eu ‘Agula akula.’ Pabha Upalume gwa a Nnungu muuli munkumbi gwenunji.”
neither will they say, 'Look, here.' or, 'Look, there.' for the kingdom of God is within you."
22 Kungai gubhaalugulilenje bhaajiganywa bhabho, “Shigaishe mobha gushinnokolilanje kapela nkalibhweninji lyubha limo lika Mwana juka Mundu, ikabheje nkalibhonanga.
He said to the disciples, "The days will come, when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.
23 Na bhandunji shibhammalanjilanje, ‘Nnolanje abhala akula eu, Abhano apano!’ Nnaakagulanje.
And they will tell you, 'Look, there.' or 'Look, here.' Do not go away, nor follow after them,
24 Pabha shiibhe malinga kumeta kwa nnjai, jinabhalula shangupe nilangaya mmbali yowe, nneyo peyo shiipingabha lyubha lya kwiya Mwana juka Mundu.
for as the lightning, when it flashes out of the one part under the sky, shines to the other part under the sky; so will the Son of Man be in his day.
25 Ikabheje gakanabhe koposhela genego, anapinjikwa apotekwe kwa kaje na kanwa na bhandunji bha luluno lubheleko luno.”
But first, he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
26 Na malinga shiyaliji mobha ga a Nuu, shiipinga kubha gene mobha gaka Mwana juka Mundu.
As it happened in the days of Noah, even so will it be also in the days of the Son of Man.
27 Bhandunji bhatendaga lyanganga na ng'wa, bhatendaga lombanga na lombwa, mpaka lyubha libhajinjile a Nuu shapina. Nduluko gujiishe nikwaanititimiyanga bhowe.
They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the box-shaped ship, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28 Nneyo peyo shiibhe malinga puyakoposhele mobha ga a Lutu. Bhandunji bhatendaga lyanganga na ng'wa, bhaliumanga na pinda, bhalilimanga na shenga.
Likewise, even as it happened in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;
29 Ikabheje lyubha libhajawile a Lutu ku Shodoma, moto na bhonga yashinkunya mbuti ula kukopoka kunnungu, nikwaatitimiyanga bhowe.
but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom, it rained fire and sulfur from the sky, and destroyed them all.
30 Na malinga pushiibhe lyubha lya kwiya Mwana juka Mundu.
It will be the same way in the day that the Son of Man is revealed.
31 “Lyene lyubhalyo, jojowe shabhe pashitubhili na indu ili nnyumba, anatulushe kutola indu yakwe. Nneyo peyo ali kunngunda anabhuji kumui kutola shindu shoshowe.
In that day, he who will be on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not go down to take them away. Let him who is in the field likewise not turn back.
32 Nkumbushilanje gaaimene akongobhabho a Lutu.
Remember Lot's wife.
33 Jojowe shapinje kwiitapula nnyene shaiobhye, na shaiobhyejo shaitapule.
Whoever seeks to keep his life will lose it, but whoever loses it will preserve it.
34 Ngunakummalanjilanga, shene shilosho bhandunji bhabhili bhagonilenje pamo, jumo shotolwe na juna shalekwe.
I tell you, in that night there will be two people in one bed. The one will be taken, and the other will be left.
35 Bhanabhakongwe bhabhili bhaliyaganga pamo, jumo shatolwe na juna shalekwe.”
Two will be grinding grain together; one will be taken and the other left.
36 Bhandunji bhabhili shibhabhanganje mungunda, jumo shatolwe na juna shalekwe.
37 Penepo gubhaabhushiyenje, “Kwei Mmakulungwa?” A Yeshu gubhaajangwilenje, “Puugonile ntui ni pugaimana matumbui.”
They, answering, asked him, "Where, Lord?" He said to them, "Where the body is, there will the vultures also be gathered together."
