< Yowana 9 >
1 A Yeshu bhali nkupita gubhammweni mundu jumo, nangalole jwa shibhelekwa.
And as he passed on, he saw a man blind from birth.
2 Bhai, bhaajiganywa bhabho gubhaabhushiyenje, “Mmaajiganya! Gani atendile yambi, jwene munduju eu bhankwetenje mpaka abhelekwe nangalole?”
And his disciples asked him, saying, Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he would be born blind?
3 A Yeshu gubhajangwile, “Lyeneli lyangakoposhela kwa ligongo lya yambi yakwe, wala yambi ya bhankwetenje, ikabhe ashibhelekwa na unangalole nkupinga mashili ga a Nnungu gabhoneshe.
Jesus answered, Neither this man sinned, nor his parents, but that the works of God might be manifested in him.
4 Pabha kukanabhe pilila, tunapinjikwa kutenda maengo ga bhandumile bhala, kupililaga mundu akakombola kutenda liengo.
I must work the works of him who sent me while it is day. Night comes when no man can work.
5 Mobha guni pashilambolyo, nne shilangaya sha shilambolyo.”
When I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
6 Bhakabheleketeje genego, gubhaunile mata pai, gubhaeleye litope na mata gala, gubhampashile mmeyo nangalole jula,
Having said these things, he spat toward the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and rubbed the clay on the eyes of the blind man.
7 gubhannugulile, “Jenda ukanabhe kulitanda lya Shiloamu.” Malombolelo ga Shiloamu, “Atumilwe.” Bhai, nangalole jula gwapite kunabha, kungai gwabhujile alilola.
And he said to him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam (which is translated, He who has been sent). Therefore he went and washed, and came seeing.
8 Bhai, ashaatami ajakwe na bhammanyangaga kuti paliji nangalole nkujuga, gubhashitenje, “Bhuli, jweneju nngabha nkulaga atamaga na juga jula?”
The neighbors therefore and those who saw him formerly, that he was blind, said, Is this not he who sits and begs?
9 Bhananji gubhashitenje, “Ni juju.” Bhananji gubhashitenje, “Ng'oo! Ikabhe ashilandanape.” Ikabheje aliji nangalole jula nigwashite, “Ni nne!”
Others said, He is this man, but others said, He is like him. That man said, I am.
10 Bhai, gubhammushiyenje, “Shanabhuli meyo gako pugashite lola?”
They said to him therefore, How were thine eyes opened?
11 Jwalakwe gwabhajangwilenje, “Bhandu bhaashemwa a Yeshu bhala bhashinkualaya litope, gubhambashile mmeyo ninugulila. ‘Jenda ukanabhe kulitanda lya Shiloamu.’ Bhai, gumbite nabha, nigunolile.”
That man answered and said, A man called Jesus made clay, and rubbed on my eyes, and said to me, Go to the pool of Siloam and wash. And after going and washing, I received sight.
12 Gubhammushiyenje, “Bhenebho kubhali kwei?” Jwalakwe gwabhajangwilenje, “Nne ngakukumanya!”
Therefore they said to him, Where is that man? He says, I do not know.
13 Kungai mundu aliji nangalole jula gubhampelekenje kwa Ashimapalishayo.
They brought him to the Pharisees-the former blind man.
14 Lyene lyubha libhaeleye litope a Yeshu nikunnamiya mundu nangalolejo, pulyaaliji Lyubha lya Pumulila.
Now it was a sabbath when Jesus made the clay and opened his eyes.
15 Bhai, Ashimapalishayo gubhammushiyenje jwene mundujo, “Shanabhuli pukombwele kulola?” Jwalakwe gwabhalugulilenje, “Bhashinkumbaka litope mmeyo, gunabhile nnaino ngulilola.”
Again therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he received sight. And he said to them, He put clay upon my eyes, and I washed, and I see.
16 Ashimapalishayo bhananji gubhashitenje, “Bhene bhandubho bhangakoposhela kwa a Nnugu, pabha bhakaakagula shalia ja Lyubha lya Pumulila.” Ikabheje bhananji gubhashitenje, “Mundu akwete yambi akombola bhuli kutenda ilangulo ya nnei?” Gugakoposhele malekano munkumbi gwabhonji.
Therefore some of the Pharisees said, This man is not from God, because he does not keep the sabbath. Other men said, How is a sinful man able to do such signs? And there was division among them.
17 Gubhammushiyenje kabhili mundu aliji nangalole jula, “Pabha bhenebho bhashikulamya meyo, ukwaataya bhuli?” Jwalakwe gwabhalugulilenje, “Bhenebho ankulondola bha a Nnungu!”
They say again to the blind man, What do thou say about him, that he opened thine eyes? And he said, He is a prophet.
18 Ashikalongolele bha Bhayaudi bhangakulupalilanga kuti jwene mundujo bhukala paliji nangalole na nnaino analola, mpaka pubhaashemilenje bhankwetenje.
The Jews therefore did not believe about him, that he had been blind, and had received sight, until they called the parents of the man who had received sight.
19 Bhai, gubhaabhushiyenje, “Bhuli, jweneju ni mwana jwenunji junkutinji pabhelekwe ali nangalole? Shanabhuli nnaino pakombwele kulola?”
And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, whom ye say that he was born blind? How then does he now see?
20 Bhankwetenje gubhajangwilenje, “Uwe tummanyi aju mwana gwetu na pabhelekwe ali nangalole.
And his parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind,
21 Ikabheje shanabhuli palolile, tukakumumanya na nkali annamiye meyojo, uwe tukakummanya. Mummuyanje nnyene, jwenejo jwankulungwa, shataye.”
but how he now sees, we know not. Or who opened his eyes, we know not. He has maturity, ask him. He will speak for himself.
22 Bhankwetenje bhashinkubheleketanga nneyo kwa ligongo lya kwaajogopanga ashikalongolele bha Bhayaudi, pabha ashikalongolelebho bhashinkulagananga kuti mundu jojowe shakunde kuti a Yeshu ni a Kilishitu abhingwe nshinagogi.
His parents spoke these things because they feared the Jews, for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man confessed him as Christ, he should become excommunicated from the synagogue.
23 Lyenelyo ni ligongo lya bhankwetenje kubheleta kuti, “Jwenejo jwankulungwa, mummuyanje nnyene.”
Because of this his parents said, He has maturity, ask him.
24 Bhai, gubhanshemilenje kabhili aliji nangalole jula, gubhannugulilenje, “Ubhelekete ya kweli gwaape ukonjelo a Nnungu! Uwe tumumanyi kuti abha bhandubha bhakwete yambi.”
So they called the man who was blind, for a second time, and said to him, Give glory to God. We know that this man is sinful.
25 Jwenejo gwajangwile, “Monaga bhakwete yambi, nne ngaamanya. Ikabheje nishimanyi shindu shimo kuti, naliji nangalole na nnaino ngunalola.”
That man therefore answered and said, If he is sinful, I know not. One thing I know, that being blind, now I see.
26 Bhai, gubhammushiyenje, “Bhakutendele nndi? Bhakulamiye shanabhuli meyo gako?”
But again they said to him, What did he do to thee? How did he open thine eyes?
27 Jwene mundujo gwabhajangwilenje, “Nimmalanjilenje, mmanganyanji mwangapilikanishiyanga, kwa nndi nnapinganga kupilikana kabhili? Bhuli na mmanganyanji nnapinganga kubha bhaajiganywa bhabho?”
He answered them, I told you already, and ye did not listen. Why do ye want to hear it again? Do ye not also want to become his disciples?
28 Bhai gubhantukenenje, bhalinkutinji, “Ugwe ni nkujiganywa jwabho, uwe tubhaajiganywa bha a Musha.
They reviled him, and said, Thou are a disciple of that man, but we are disciples of Moses.
29 Uwe tumumanyi kuti a Nnungu bhashinkubheleketa na a Musha, ikabheje bhene bhandubha tukakukumanya kubhakoposhele!”
We know that God has spoken to Moses, but this man, we know not where he is from.
30 Jwalakwe gwabhajangwilenje, “Sheneshi sha kanganigwa! Mmanganyanji nkakukumanyanga kubhakoposhele, ikabheje bhashinamiya meyo gangu!
The man answered and said to them, For in this it is amazing, that ye know not where he is from, and yet he opened my eyes.
31 Tumumanyi kuti a Nnungu bhakakwapilikanishiyanga bhandunji bhakwetenje yambi, ikabhe jojowe akwaakunda na tenda gubhapinga.
And we know that God does not listen to sinners, but if any man is a worshiper of God, and does his will, he listens to this man.
32 Kuumila bhukala pa shilambolyo ikanabhe pilikanika kuti mundu ashilamya meyo gaka nangalole jwa shibhelekwa. (aiōn )
From the age, it was not heard that any man opened the eyes of a man who was born blind. (aiōn )
33 Monaga bhene bhandubha bhangakoposhela kwa a Nnungu, bhakanakombole kutenda shoshowe!”
If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.
34 Gubhajangwilenje, “Ugwe ushibhelekwa na lelelwa muyambi jika, utujiganye uwe?” Bhai, gubhankanilenje kushinagogi.
They answered and said to him, Thou were born entirely in sins, and thou teach us? And they cast him outside.
35 A Yeshu gubhapilikene kuti bhashikunkananga nshinagogi. Bhai, bhakammoneje gubhammushiye, “Bhuli, ugwe ulikunkulupalila Mwana juka Mundu?”
Jesus heard that they cast him outside. And having found him, he said to him, Do thou believe in the Son of God?
36 Jwene mundujo gwajangwile, “Mmakulungwa, nnugulile jwenejo ni gani, ninkulupalile.”
That man answered and said, And who is he, Lord, that I may believe in him?
37 A Yeshu gubhammalanjile, “Mumweni, akunguluka na mmwejo.”
And Jesus said to him, Thou have both seen him, and he is that man who speaks with thee.
38 Bhai, jwene mundujo gwashite, “Mmakulungwa ngulikulupalila!” Gwabhatindibhalile.
And he affirmed, Lord, I believe. And he worshiped him.
39 A Yeshu gubhashite, “Nne njiika kushilambolyo kuukumula, nkupinga bhakaalolanga bhalolanje, na bhaalolanga bhabhanganje ashinangalole.”
And Jesus said, For judgment I came into this world, so that those not seeing might see, and those who see might become blind.
40 Ashimapalishayo bhananji bhalinginji pamo na bhenebho gubhapilikenenje gene malobhego, gubhaabhushiyenje, “Bhuli, nkali uwe ashinangalole?”
And those of the Pharisees who were with him heard these things, and they said to him, Are we also blind?
41 A Yeshu gubhaajangwilenje, “Monaga nkalinginji ashinangalole, nkanakolanjeje yambi, ikabheje nnaino nkutinji. ‘Uwe tulilola,’ bhai launo nkwetenje yambi.
Jesus said to them, If ye were blind, ye would have no sin, but now ye say, We see, therefore your sin remains.
