< Yowana 14 >

1 A Yeshu gubhaalugulilenje, “Nnatengukanje mmitima jenunji. Nnakwaakulupalilanga a Nnungu, nngulupalilanje na nne.
“Don’t let your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in me.
2 Kumui kwa Atati ipali ndamo yaigwinji, monaga nngabha nneyo, ngammalanjilenje. Nnaino ngunakwenda kukunnng'alashiyanga ndamo.
In my Father’s house are many mansions. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you,
3 Nyendaga kung'alashiyanga ndamo, shimuje kukuntolanga, nkupinga pushimme nne, na mmanganyanji mmanganje popo.
and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may also be.
4 Mmanganyanji nngumanyinji mpanda gwa kungwendako.”
You know where I go, and you know the way.”
5 A Tomashi gubhabhushiye, “Mmakulungwa, tukakukumanya kunkwenda, bhai, tugumanye bhuli mpandago?”
Thomas asked Him, “Lord, we don’t know where You are going, so how can we know the way?”
6 A Yeshu gubhaajangwile, “Nne ni mpanda na kweli na gumi. Jwakwa akombola kwenda kwa Atati ikabhe kupitila nne.
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
7 Ibhaga nkamanyinji nne, nkaamanyinji Atati. Kuumila nnaino, mwaamanyinji, numbe mwaabhweninji.”
If you had known me, you would have known my Father too. From now on you know Him and have seen Him.”
8 A Pilipi gubhaalugulile, “Mmakulungwa, shiitupwae, ntulanguye Atati.”
Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and that would be enough for us.”
9 A Yeshu gubhaalugulilenje, “Mobha gowega ndemi na mmanganyanji, igala mmwe a Pilipi nkanabhemanya? Amweni nne abhabhweni Atati. Nkubheleketa bhuli, ‘Ntulanguye Atati?’
Jesus answered, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you haven’t known me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father, so how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
10 Bhuli nkaakulupalila kuti nne muni nkati ja Atati, nabhalabho Atati mubhali nkati jangu? Malobhe gungummalanjilangaga, ngaabheleketa kwa mashili gangu namwene, ikabhe Atati bhali nkati jangu, ni bhaatenda liengo lyabho.
Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak to you aren’t my own, but from the Father who lives in me. He does the works.
11 Nngulupalilanje kuti nne muni nkati ja Atati, na Atati mubhali nkati jangu, ibhaga ng'oo, nkulupalilanje kwa ligongo lya maengo gungutendaga.
Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father in me, or else believe me for the sake of the works themselves.
12 Kweli ngunakummalanjilanga, jwene angulupalila nne, na jwalakwe shaatende maengo gungukamula nne, nkali na gamakulungwa kupunda genega, pabha nne ngunakwenda kwa Atati.
“Most assuredly, I tell you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do, and even greater works than these, because I am going to my Father.
13 Shoshowe shishinnjuganje kwa lina lyangu, shenesho shindende, nkupinga Atati bhakuywe nkati jika Mwana.
I will do whatever you ask in my name, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 Nnyugangaga shoshowe kwa lina lyangu, shinintendelanje.”
If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.
15 “Mmbingangaga, shinkamulanje amuli yangu.
If you sincerely love me, you will keep my commandments.
16 Na nne shinaajuje Atati bhampanganje jwakunjangutilanga juna, nkupinga atame na mmanganyanji pitipiti. (aiōn g165)
I will then ask the Father, and He will give you another Counselor, that He may be with you forever — (aiōn g165)
17 Jwenejo Mbumu jwa kweli. Shilambolyo nngakombola kumposhela, pabha shikakombola kummona wala kummanya. Ikabheje mmanganyanji mummanyinji pabha anaatama na mmanganyanji, na shaabhe nkati jenunji.”
the Spirit of truth, whom the world can’t receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. You know Him, though, because He lives with you and will be in you.
18 “Ngannekanga ushubha, shininjiilanje.
I won’t leave you orphans. I will come to you.
19 Gaigele mobha gashoko, shilambolyo shikamona kabhili, ikabheje mmanganyanji shimmonanje, pabha nne najwankoto na nkali mmanganyanji shimmanganje mmabhakotonji.
After a little while the world won’t see me, but you will see me. Because I live, you will also live.
20 Pushiliishile lyene lyubhalyo, shimmanyanje kuti nne muni nkati ja Atati, na mmanganyanji munninginji nkati jangu, na nne nkati jenunji.”
In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.
21 “Akwiiposhela amuli yangu nikwiikamula, jwenejo ni ambinga nne. Na jwalakwe ambinga nne, shaabhapinje Atati, na nne shinimpinje na shiniilanguye kuka jwene.”
Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, sincerely loves me. Whoever sincerely loves me will be sincerely loved by my Father, and I’ll sincerely love them and reveal myself to them.”
22 A Yuda, nngabha a Ishikaliote bhala, gubhaabhushiye, “Mmakulungwa, shiitendeshe bhuli mmwe kwiilanguya kwetu uwe na nngabha ku shilambolyo?”
Judas (not Iscariot) asked Him, “Lord, how is it that You will reveal Yourself to us, and not to the world?”
23 A Yeshu gubhajangwile, “Mundu ambingaga shakamule malobhe gangu, Atati shibhampinje na uwe shituishe, nitama najo.
Jesus answered him, “If anyone sincerely loves me, that person will keep my words; and my Father will sincerely love that person, and we will come and make our home with that person.
24 Mundu akaambinga nne akakamula malobhe gangu. Lilobhe limpilikenenje nngabha lyangu nne, ikabhe lya Atati bhandumile.
Whoever doesn’t sincerely love me doesn’t keep my words. The word which you hear isn’t mine, but the Father’s who sent me.
25 “Nimmalanjilenje genego, shini launo na mmanganyanji shino,
“I’ve told you these things while living with you,
26 ikabheje Nkujangutila jula, Mbumu jwa Ukonjelo, shibhantume Atati kwa lina lyangu, shannjiganyanje indu yowe na kunkumbushiyanga gowe gunimmalanjilenje.”
but the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, who the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and bring to your remembrance all that I told you.
27 “Ngunakunneshelanga ulele, ngunakumpanganga ulele gwangu. Ngakumpanganga malinga shilambolyo shishikuti tenda. Nnainginikanje mmitima jenunji wala nnatengukanje.
I leave peace with you. I give you my peace. I don’t give to you as the world gives. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
28 Mwapilikenenje punammalanjilenje. ‘Ngunakwijendela, kungai shinimmujilanje kabhili.’ Nkambinjilenje, nkainonyelenje kwa ligongo ngunakwenda kwa Atati, pabha bhenebho bhakulungwa kumbunda nne.
You have heard me tell you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you sincerely loved me, you would rejoice because I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for my Father is greater than I.
29 Njikummalanjilanga genega nnaino gakanabhe koposhela, nkupinga pushigakoposhelepo nkulupalilanje.
Now I have told you before it happens, that when it does happen, you may believe.
30 Ngabheleketa kabhili malobhe gamagwinji na mmanganyanji, pabha nkulungwa jwa shilambolyoshi anakwiya. Wala jwangali sha kombola kwangu nne,
I won’t talk much longer with you, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no power over me,
31 ikabheje shilambolyo shinapinjikwa shimanye kuti nne ngunakwaapinga Atati, pabha ngunatenda indu yowe malinga shibhang'amulishe Atati. Nnjimangane, tujabhule apano!”
but the world must learn that I sincerely love the Father and that I do exactly what my Father has commanded me. “Come on. Let’s go.
