Bhaepheso 6
1 Mmanganyanji mmana, malinga Bhakilishitu nnapinjikwanga mwaakundanje bhankwetenje, pabha yeneyo ni ya mmbone.
Children, obey your parents, as children of the Lord; for that is but right.
2 Gwaishimiye ainago na akwenu, pabha jeneji ni amuli jilongolela kubha na malagano gakuti,
‘Honor your father and mother’ – this is the first Commandment with a promise –
3 “Mpate mboka na tama mobha gamagwinji pa shilambolyo.”
‘so that you may prosper and have a long life on earth.’
4 Na mmanganyanji ashainamundu, nnataandubhanganje ashibhana bhenu, ikabhe mwalelanje kwa ishima na mmajiganyo ga shi Kilishitu.
And fathers, do not irritate your children, but bring them up with Christian discipline and instruction.
5 Na mmanganyanji mmatumwa, mwaakundanje bhakulungwa bhenunji bha pa shilambolyo pano, kwa kwaajogopanga na ungumila, ntendanje nneyo kwa ntima gwa uguja, mbuti nnakwakamulilanga liengo a Kilishitu.
Slaves, obey your earthly masters, with anxious care, giving them ungrudging service, as if obeying the Christ;
6 Wala nngabha malinga utumwa gwa kwilanguya mmonekanje mbuti bhandu bhakwiikonjeleyanga ku bhandunji, ikabhe malinga bhatumwa bha a Kilishitu nnikamulanga maengo ga kwaanonyela a Nnungu kwa ntima gowe.
not only when their eyes are on you, as if you had merely to please people, but as slaves of Christ, who are trying to carry out the will of God.
7 Kwa ntima gwa mmbone malinga kwaakamulila liengo Bhakulungwa a Yeshu na nngabha bhandunji.
Give your service heartily and cheerfully, as working for the Master and not for people;
8 Mmumanyanje kuti kila mundu atenda ya mmbone abhe ntumwa eu nngwana, shapate upo na Bhakulungwa.
for you know that everyone will be rewarded by the Master for any honest work that he has done, whether he is a slave or free.
9 Na mmanganyanji mmakulungwanji, mwaatendelanje bhatumwa bhenunji gogo pego, nnekanje kwaajogoyanga. Mmumanyanje kuti na mmanganyanji malinga bhanganyanjibho, mmowe Bhakulungwa bhenunji kubhali kunnungu, na bhenebho bhangali luagu.
And masters, treat your slaves in the same spirit. Give up threatening them; for you know that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and that before him there is no distinction of rank.
10 Kungai, ngunakumpinganga mpundanje kwiishimilika nkulundana na Bhakulungwa na kwa jangutilwa na mashili gabho makulu.
For the future, find strength in your union with the Lord, and in the power which comes from his might.
11 Nng'walanje ikomanilo yowe ya a Nnungu, nkupinga mwuikananje ila ika Lishetani.
Put on the full armor of God, so that you may be able to stand your ground against the stratagems of the devil.
12 Pabha komana kwetu nngabha na bhandunji bha pa shilambolyo, ikabhe na ashimaoka bhaatamangana kunnungu pamo na bhakulungwanji na ukulungwa gwa pa shilambolyo sha lubhindu shino. (aiōn g165)
For ours is no struggle against enemies of flesh and blood, but against all the various powers of evil that hold sway in the darkness around us, against the spirits of wickedness on high. (aiōn g165)
13 Kwa lyene ligongolyo nng'walanje ikomanilo yowe ya a Nnungu malinga linjola akwenda ku ngondo, nkupinga liishilaga lyubha lya yangali ya mmbone, nkomananje naka mmagongo nnjenunji, genego gamalilaga, mwiishimilikanje.
Therefore take up the full armor of God, so that when the evil day comes, you may be able to withstand the attack, and, having fought to the end, still to stand your ground.
14 Bhai, nnjimangananje tayali, akuno nninginji mwitabhilenje nshipi gwa kweli mwigunu yenunji, na pa ntima nng'walanje nkogo gwa aki,
Stand your ground, then, with truth for your belt, and with righteousness for your breastplate,
15 na lilaka lya lunguya Ngani ja Mmbone ja ulele, libhe mbuti ilatu mmakongono genunji,
and with the readiness to serve the good news of peace as shoes for your feet.
16 pamo na gene gowego, ngulupai ibhe shindu sha kwiibhila pugaika maonga gowe ga moto gaka Lishetani jula.
At every onslaught take up faith for your shield; for with it you will be able to extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one.
17 Numbe mposhelanje ntapulo malinga kopiya muntwe na lilobhe lya a Nnungu mbuti upanga gunkupegwanga naka Mbumu jwa Ukonjelo.
And receive the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit – which is the message of God – always with prayer and supplication.
18 Nnjuganje Nnungu mobha gowe, nnijangutilwanga naka Mbumu. Nsheyanje gwangali totoshela nkujuga kwa ligongo lya bhandunji bhowe bha ukonjelo.
Pray in spirit at all times. Be intent on this, with unwearying perseverance and supplication for all Christ’s people –
19 Nnyujilanje na nne, nkupinga pungubheleketa ga a Nnungu, mbate shindu sha bheleketa, naalungushiyanje bhandunji kwa mashili, ya nng'iyo ya Ngani ja Mmbone.
and on my behalf also, so that when I begin to speak, words may be given me, so that I may fearlessly make known the inmost truth of the good news,
20 Nne ntume, kwa ligongo lya jene Ngani ja Mmbonejo nkali ndabhwile ino. Bhai nnjuganje nkupinga ngole mashili nkulunguya malinga shingupinjikwa.
on behalf of which I am an ambassador – in chains! Pray that, in telling it, I may speak fearlessly as I ought.
21 Bhai, nkupinga na mmanganyanji mmumanyanje puni bhuli, a Tikiko, apwanga bhaapingwa bhakamula liengo bhaakulupalika nkulundana na Bhakulungwa, shibhammalanjilanje indu yangu yowe nkupinga mmumanyanje ingutenda.
To enable you, as well as others, to know all that concerns me and what I am doing, Tychicus, our dear friend and faithful helper in the Master’s cause, will tell you everything.
22 Ngunakwatuma kungwenunji nkupinga bhammalanjilanje getu uwe na bhantaganje ntima.
I am sending him to you on purpose that you may learn all about us, and that he may cheer your hearts.
23 Ashaalongo ajangu Mmakilishitu, ngunakumpinjilanga ulele na pingana na ngulupai ikopoka kwa a Nnungu Atati na ku Bhakulungwa a Yeshu Kilishitu.
May God, the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ give every follower peace, and love linked with faith.
24 Ngunakwapinjilanga nema bhowe bhakwaapinganga Bhakulungwa bhetu a Yeshu Kilishitu kwa pinga kwangali mpelo.
May God’s blessing be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love.
