ଲୁକ 18
1 ୧ ଜାନାଅ ବିନ୍ତି ଆଡଃ ଭାର୍ସା କା ହୁଡିଙ୍ଗ୍ ଲାଗାତିଙ୍ଗ୍ୟାଁଃ ମେନ୍ତେ ୟୀଶୁ ଆୟାଃ ଚେଲାକକେ ମିଆଁଦ୍ ଜନ୍କା କାଜି ଉଦୁବାଦ୍କଆଏ ।
He also taught them by a parable how they ought always to pray and never to lose heart.
2 ୨ “ଜେତାଏ ସାହାର୍ରେ ମିଆଁଦ୍ ବିଚାର୍ନିଃ ତାଇକେନାଏ, ଇନିଃ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍କେ କାଏ ବରଆଇ ତାଇକେନା ଚି ହଡ଼କକେ କାଏ ମାନାତିଙ୍ଗ୍କ ତାଇକେନା ।
"There was a certain town," he said, "a judge who had neither reverence for God, nor respect for man.
3 ୩ ଆଡଃ ଏନ୍ ସାହାର୍ରେ ମିଆଁଦ୍ ରାଣ୍ଡିକୁଡ଼ି ତାଇକେନାଏ, ଇନିଃ ଏନ୍ ବିଚାର୍ନିଃତାଃ ମଣେଁସା ହିଜୁଃୟାନ୍ତେ, ‘ଆଇଁୟାଃ ବାଇରିକତାଃ ଏତେ ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍କେ ନ୍ୟାୟ ଏମାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ମେ’ ମେନ୍ତେ ବିନ୍ତିକିୟାଏ ।
"In that same town there was a widow who came again and again before him, saying, "‘Do for me the justice of my adversary.’
4 ୪ ଇନିଃ ଚିମିନ୍ଦିନ୍ କାଏ ମାନାତିଙ୍ଗ୍କେଦାଃ, ମେନ୍ଦ ତାୟମ୍ତେ, ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ଦ ‘ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍କେ କାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ବରଆଇତାନା ଚି ହଡ଼କକେ କାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ମାନାତିଙ୍ଗ୍କତାନା’
"For a while he would not, but afterwards he said to himself, ‘Though I have neither reverence for God nor regard for man,
5 ୫ ଏନ୍ରେୟ ନେ ରାଣ୍ଡିକୁଡ଼ି ବିତ୍ଲାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ତାନାଏ, ଏନାତେ ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ଇନିୟାଃ ଚେତାନ୍ରେ ହବାକାନ୍ କା ଲାଗାତିଙ୍ଗ୍ କାମି ନାଙ୍ଗ୍ ନ୍ୟାୟ ରିକାଏୟାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ଆଡଃ ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ଇନିୟାଃ ଗହରାଅ ଆୟୁମେଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍, କା'ରେଦ ଇନିଃ ଜାନାଅ ଜାନାଅ ହିଜୁଃକେଦ୍ତେ ହାଏରାନିଆଁ ମେନ୍ତେ ଆୟାଃ ମନ୍ରେ କାଜିକେଦାଏ ।”
"‘yet because this woman annoys me I will give her justice, lest by her continual coming she wear me out.’
"Listen" said the Lord, "to what this unjust judge says.
7 ୭ ଆଡଃ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ ନିଦାସିଙ୍ଗି ହାକାଅଇତାନ୍ ଆୟାଃ ସାଲାକାନ୍କଆଃ ନାଙ୍ଗ୍ ଥିମ୍ବାସାମାଏ ସାହାତିଙ୍ଗ୍ରେହ ଚିୟାଃ ନ୍ୟାୟ କାଏ ରୁହାଡ଼ାକଆ?
"And will not God see justice done to his elect who are crying unto him day and night, even if he seems to delay helping them?
8 ୮ ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ଆପେକେ କାଜିପେତାନାଇଙ୍ଗ୍, ଇନିଃ ଇନ୍କୁରେ ହବାକାନ୍ ଏତ୍କାନ୍ କାଜିକ ସାଙ୍ଗିନେ ନାଙ୍ଗ୍ ଜାଲ୍ଦିଗି ନ୍ୟାୟ ଏମ୍ରୁହାଡ଼ାକଆଏ । ଏନ୍ରେୟ, ମାନୱାହନ୍ ହିଜୁଃଇମ୍ତା, ଚିୟାଃ ଅତେରେ ବିଶ୍ୱାସ୍ ନାମେୟାଏ?”
"I tell you that he will quickly see justice done to his elect! Nevertheless, when the Son of man comes, will he find faith upon the earth?"
9 ୯ ଆବୁ ଧାର୍ମାନ୍ଗିୟାଃବୁ ମେନ୍ତେ ଆକରେ ଭାର୍ସାଏତାନ୍ ଆଡଃ ଏଟାଃକକେ ହିଲାଙ୍ଗ୍କତାନ୍, ଚିମିନ୍ ହଡ଼କ ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ୟୀଶୁ ନେ ଜନ୍କା କାଜି କାଜିୟାଦ୍କଆଏ ।
Moreover he spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves because they were righteous, and looked down upon the rest.
10 ୧୦ “ବାର୍ହଡ଼୍ ମାନ୍ଦିର୍ ଅଡ଼ାଃତେ ବିନ୍ତିତେକିନ୍ ସେନଃୟାନା, ମିଆଁଦ୍ନିଃ ଫାରୁଶୀ ଆଡଃ ଏଟାଃନିଃ ମାଲ୍ହାରମ୍ନିଃ ।
"Two men are going up to the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, the other a tax-gatherer.
11 ୧୧ “ଫାରୁଶୀ ଆତମ୍ରେ ତିଙ୍ଗୁୟାନ୍ତେ ବିନ୍ତିକେଦାଏ, ‘ହେ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍, ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ଏଟାଃ ହଡ଼କଲେକା ନାହାଁଲାଇଙ୍ଗ୍, ଇନ୍କୁଦ ରେଃକ୍ନିଃକ, ଏତ୍କାନ୍କାମିକ, ଆପାଙ୍ଗିର୍କ ତାନ୍କୁ ଆଡଃ ନେ ମାଲ୍ହାରମ୍ନିଃ ଲେକାହ ନାହାଁଲାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ।
"The Pharisee stood apart and thus began to pray by himself. "‘O God, I thank thee that I am not like the rest of men, extortioners, rogues, adulterers, or even like this tax gatherer;
12 ୧୨ ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ହାପ୍ତାରେ ବାର୍ସାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ କାଟାବ୍ତାନା ଆଡଃ ଗଟା କାମିୟାକାଦ୍ରେୟାଃ ଗେଲ୍ହିସା ହାନାଟିଙ୍ଗ୍ ଏମ୍ତାନାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ।’
"‘I fast twice a week, I pay tithes of all my possessions.’
13 ୧୩ “ଆଡଃ ମାଲ୍ହାରମ୍ନିଃ ସାଙ୍ଗିନ୍ରେ ତିଙ୍ଗୁୟାନ୍ତେ ସିର୍ମାସାଃତେ ସାଙ୍ଗିଲ୍ ନାଙ୍ଗ୍ କାଏ ସାହାଁସ୍କେଦା ମେନ୍ଦ ଆୟାଃ କୁଡ଼ାମ୍ ଥାପ୍ଡ଼ିତାନ୍ଲଃ କାଜିକେଦାଏ, ‘ହେ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ପାପି ତାନିଙ୍ଗ୍ ଲିବୁଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ମେଁ ।’”
"But the tax-gatherer, standing far back, would not lift up so much as his eyes to heaven, but kept beating his breast and saying, "‘O God be merciful to me, the sinner!’
14 ୧୪ ଏନ୍ତେ ୟୀଶୁ କାଜିକେଦାଏ, “ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ କାଜିୟାପେ ତାନାଇଙ୍ଗ୍, ମାଲ୍ହାରମ୍ନିଃ ଫାରୁଶୀଏତେ ଆଦ୍କା ଧାର୍ମାନ୍ ମେନ୍ତେ ଲେକାୟାନା ଆଡଃ ଅଡ଼ାଃତେ ସେନଃୟାନା । ଜେତାଏ ମାରାଙ୍ଗ୍ୟେଁନ୍ନିଃଦ ହୁଡିଙ୍ଗ୍ୟଁଃଆଏ ଆଡଃ ଜେତାଏ ହୁଡିଙ୍ଗ୍ୟଃଁନିଃଦ ମାରାଙ୍ଗ୍ଆଁଃଏ ।”
"I tell you that this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for every one who exalts himself shall be humbled; but he who humbles himself shall be exalted."
15 ୧୫ ଆଡଃ ୟୀଶୁ ସିଟିଆ ହନ୍କକେ ଜୁଟିଦ୍କକାଏ ମେନ୍ତେ ହଡ଼କ ଇନ୍କୁକେ ଇନିଃତାଃ ଆଉକେଦ୍କଆକ, ମେନ୍ଦ ଚେଲାକ ନେଆଁଁ ନେଲ୍କେଦ୍ତେକ ମାରାଙ୍ଗ୍ମଚାକେଦ୍କଆ ।
And they kept bringing their babies for him to touch them; but when his disciples saw it they began to rebuke them.
16 ୧୬ ମେନ୍ଦ ୟୀଶୁ ଇନ୍କୁକେ ଆୟାଃତାଃ ହାକାଅକେଦ୍ତେ କାଜିୟାଦ୍କଆଏ, “ହୁପ୍ଡିଙ୍ଗ୍ ହନ୍କକେ ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ତାଃ ହିଜୁଃରିକାକପେ ଆଡଃ ଇନ୍କୁକେ ଆଲ୍ପେ ରୁହାଡ଼୍କଆ, ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ଆଃ ରାଇଜ୍ଦ ନେ'ଲେକାନ୍କଆଃଗିଆଃ ।
But Jesus called for the babies. "Let the little children come to me," he said, "do not hinder them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
17 ୧୭ ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ସାର୍ତିଗିଙ୍ଗ୍ କାଜିୟାପେତାନା, ଜେତାଏ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ଆଃ ରାଇଜ୍କେ, ହୁଡିଙ୍ଗ୍ହନ୍ ଲେକା କାଏ ତେଲାଏରେଦ ଇନିଃ ଜେତାଲେକାତେ ଏନାରେ କାଏ ବଲଆ ।”
"I tell you in solemn truth that whoever will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child, he will never get into it."
18 ୧୮ ଆଡଃ ମିଆଁଦ୍ ହାକିମ୍ ୟୀଶୁକେ କୁଲିକିୟାଏ, “ଏ ବୁଗିନ୍ ଇତୁନିଃ, ଜାନାଅ ଜୀଦାନ୍ ନାମେ ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ଚିନାଃଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ଚିକାୟା?” (aiōnios g166)
A ruler put this question to him. "Good teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" (aiōnios g166)
19 ୧୯ ୟୀଶୁ କୁଲିକିୟାଏ, “ଆମ୍ ଚିନାଃମେନ୍ତେ ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍କେ ବୁଗିନ୍ ମେନ୍ତେମ୍ କାଜିଇଙ୍ଗ୍ତାନା? ମିଆଁଦ୍ନିଃ ଏସ୍କାର୍ ବୁଗିନାଏଃ ଇନିଃ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ ତାନିଃ ଆଡଃ ଜେତାଏକାହା ।
"Why are you calling me ‘good’?"said Jesus to him; "no one is good but God.
20 ୨୦ ଆମ୍ ଆନ୍ଚୁମ୍ ସାରିତାନା, ‘ଆଲମ୍ ଆପାଙ୍ଗିର୍ରାଃ, ଆଲମ୍ ଗଗଏୟାଃ, ଆଲମ୍ କୁମ୍ବୁଡ଼ୁଇୟା, ହସଡ଼ଗାୱା ଆଲମାଃ, ଏଙ୍ଗା ଆପୁ କିନ୍କେ ମାନାତିଙ୍ଗ୍କିନ୍ମେ ।’”
"You know the commandments. "Do not commit adultery, Do not murder, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honor your father and mother."
"All of these," he replied, "I have kept from my youth up."
22 ୨୨ ୟୀଶୁ ନେଆଁଁ ଆୟୁମ୍କେଦ୍ତେ ଇନିଃକେ କାଜିକିୟାଏ, “ନାହାଃଁହଁ ମିଆଁଦ୍ କାଜିତେମ୍ ଜାଞ୍ଜିଆକାନାଃ, ଜୁ ଆମ୍ ଆମାଃ ସବେନାଃ ଆଖ୍ରିଙ୍ଗ୍କେଦ୍ତେ ଏନା ରେଙ୍ଗେଃତାନ୍କକେ ଏମାକମେ, ଏନ୍ତେ ସିର୍ମାରେ ଖୁର୍ଜିମ୍ ନାମେୟା ଆଡଃ ହିଜୁଃକେଦ୍ତେ ଅତଙ୍ଗ୍ଇଙ୍ଗ୍ମେ ।”
And receiving this reply, Jesus said to him. "One thing you are still lacking. Sell all that you have and give it to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven. Then come and follow me."
23 ୨୩ ମେନ୍ଦ ନେ କାଜି ଆୟୁମ୍କେଦ୍ତେ ଇନିଃଦ ପୁରାଃଗି ହୁଡିଙ୍ଗ୍ଜୀଉୟାନାଏ, ଚିୟାଃଚି ଇନିଃଦ ପୁରାଃଗି କିସାଁଣ୍ ତାଇକେନାଏ ।
But when he heard these words he became deeply grieved, for he was exceedingly rich.
24 ୨୪ ୟୀଶୁ ଇନିଃକେ ପୁରାଃ ହୁଡିଙ୍ଗ୍ଜୀଉକାନ୍ ନେଲ୍କିଃତେ କାଜିକେଦାଏ, “ଅକନ୍ ହଡ଼କଆଃ ଟାକା ପାଏସା ମେନାଃ, ଏନ୍ କିସାଁଣ୍ ହଡ଼କନାଙ୍ଗ୍ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ଆଃ ରାଇଜ୍ରେ ବଲଃ ପୁରାଃଗି ହାମ୍ୱାଲାଃ ।
Jesus looked at him and said. "How hard it is for those who have money to enter into the kingdom of God!
25 ୨୫ କିସାଁଣ୍ ହଡ଼ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ଆଃ ରାଇଜ୍ରେ ବଲଏତେ ସୁଇ ଉଣ୍ଡୁଃତେ ଉଁଟ୍ ପାରମଃତେୟାଃ ରାୱାଲାଃ ମେତାଦ୍କଆଏ ।”
Why, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."
"Who then can be saved?" exclaimed his hearers.
"Things that are impossible with men," he answered them, "are possible with God."
Then Peter said, "Look! we have left our homes and followed you."
29 ୨୯ ଆଡଃ ୟୀଶୁ ଇନ୍କୁକେ କାଜିୟାଦ୍କଆଏ, “ସାର୍ତିଗିଙ୍ଗ୍ କାଜିୟାପେତାନା ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍ଆଃ ରାଇଜ୍ ନାଗେନ୍ତେ ଆପ୍ନାଃ ଅଡ଼ାଃ ଚାଏ କୁଡ଼ି ଚାଏ ହାଗା ଚାଏ ଏଙ୍ଗା ଆପୁକ ଚାଏ ହନ୍କକେ ବାଗିକାଦ୍ ସବେନ୍ ହଡ଼କ,
And he said to them, "In Solemn truth I tell you that there is no one who, for the sake of the kingdom of God, has left houses, or wife, or brother, or parents, or children,
31 ୩୧ ୟୀଶୁ ଗେଲ୍ବାର୍ ଚେଲାକକେ ଗେନାତେ ଇଦିକେଦ୍ତେ କାଜିୟାଦ୍କଆଏ, “ନେଲେପେ ଆବୁ ଯୀରୁଶାଲେମ୍ତେବୁ ସେନଃତାନା ଆଡଃ ମାନୱାହନ୍ଆଃ ବିଷାଏରେ ନାବୀକ ଅଲାକାଦ୍ ସବେନାଃ ପୁରାଅଆଃ ।
Then he took the twelve aside and told them. "See, we are on our way to Jerusalem, and all prophets regarding the son of Man will be fulfilled.
"He will be betrayed to the Gentiles, and be mocked, and shamefully treated, and spit upon;
"and they will scourge and kill him; and the third day he will rise again."
34 ୩୪ ମେନ୍ଦ ଇନ୍କୁ ନେ କାଜିକ ଜେତ୍ନାଃ କାକ ମୁଣ୍ଡିକେଦାଃ, ନେ କାଜି ଇନ୍କୁଆଃ ଆୟାର୍ରେ ଉକୁଆକାନ୍ ତାଇକେନା, ଆଡଃ ଇନ୍କୁ କାଜିୟାକାନ୍ତେୟାଃ କାକ ଆଟ୍କାର୍କେଦାଃ ।
But they understood none of these sayings. His words were a mystery to them, and they did not know what he meant.
35 ୩୫ ୟୀଶୁ ଯିରିହୋ ସାହାର୍ତେ ସେଟେର୍ତାନ୍ ତାଇକେନ୍ରେ ମିଆଁଦ୍ କାଣାଁକାନ୍ ହଡ଼ ହରାଗେନାରେ ଦୁବ୍କେଦ୍ତେ କଏଁ ତାନାଏ ତାଇକେନା ।
As Jesus drew near to Jericho, there was a blind man who sat by the wayside begging.
36 ୩୬ ଆଡଃ ପୁରାଃ ହଡ଼କ ସେନ୍ପାରମଃତାନ୍ ଆୟୁମ୍କେଦ୍କଚି, “ନେଆଁଁ ଚିକ୍ନାଃ ହବାଅଃତାନାଃ” ମେନ୍ତେ କୁଲିକେଦ୍କଆଏ ।
He heard the crowd passing and asked what the matter was.
They told him, "Jesus of Nazareth is passing by."
Then he shouted out, saying, "Jesus, son of David, take pity on me!"
39 ୩୯ ଆୟାରାକାନ୍କ ହାପାନ୍ମେ ମେନ୍ତେକ ମାରାଙ୍ଗ୍ମଚାକିୟାଃ, ମେନ୍ଦ ଇନିଃ, “ହେ ଦାଉଦ୍ଆଃ ହନ୍ ଦାୟାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ମେ” ମେନ୍ତେ ଆଡଃଗି ହାକାଅକିୟାଏ ।
Those who went ahead began to reprove him and to tell him to be still; but he kept clamorously shouting all the more, "Son of David, take pity on me!"
So Jesus stopped and ordered him to be brought to him. When he was come near to him he asked him
41 ୪୧ “ଆମ୍ ଚିନାଃମ୍ ଆସିତାନା, ଆଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ଆମାଃ ନାଙ୍ଗ୍ ଚିନାଃଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ଚିକାୟା ମେନ୍ତେମ୍ ସାନାଙ୍ଗ୍ତାନା” ମେନ୍ତେ କୁଲିକିୟାଏ । ଇନିଃ କାଜିକିୟାଏ, “ହେ ପ୍ରାଭୁ, ମେଦ୍ତାଇଙ୍ଗ୍ ଆଡଃମିସା ନେଲ୍ ଦାଡ଼ିକା ।”
"What do you want me to do for you?" "Lord," he answered, "that I might see again."
"Receive your sight," said Jesus, "your faith has saved you."
43 ୪୩ ଆଡଃ ଇମ୍ତାଙ୍ଗ୍ଗି ଇନିଃ ନେଲ୍ ଦାଡ଼ିକେଦାଏ, ଆଡଃ ୟୀଶୁକେ ଅତଙ୍ଗ୍ଇଁତାନ୍ଲଃ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍କେ ମାରାଙ୍ଗ୍କିୟାଏ ଆଡଃ ସବେନ୍ ହଡ଼କ ନେଆଁଁ ନେଲ୍କେଦ୍ତେ ପାର୍ମେଶ୍ୱାର୍କେ ମାନାରାଙ୍ଗ୍କିୟାଃକ ।
Instantly he regained his sight and followed Jesus, giving glory to God; and all the people who saw it gave praise to God.
