जखऱ्या 10
1 १ वीज व वादळवारा निर्माण करणाऱ्या परमेश्वराकडे वळवाच्या पावसासाठी प्रार्थना करा आणि तो त्यांच्यासाठी पावसाची वृष्टी करील, मानव व जमिनीवरील पिकांसाठी तो ती करील.
They asked of YHWH rain In a time of spring rain, YHWH is making lightnings, And He gives to them rain [in] showers. To each—the herb in the field.
2 २ कारण तेराफिम मुर्तींनी निरर्थक गोष्टी केल्या आहेत, दैवज्ञांनी लबाडीचा दृष्टांत पाहिला आहे; ते आपली फसवणारी स्वप्ने सांगतात आणि खोटा धीर देतात; म्हणून लोक मेंढरांसारखे भटकत आहेत आणि त्यांचा कोणी मेंढपाळ नसल्याने त्यांच्यावर संकटे आली आहेत.
Because the teraphim spoke iniquity, And the diviners have seen a falsehood, And dreams of the vanity they speak, [With] vanity they give comfort, Therefore they have journeyed as a flock, They are afflicted, for there is no shepherd.
3 ३ परमेश्वर म्हणतो, “माझा राग मेंढपाळांवर पेटला आहे; त्यांच्यातील बोकडांना, पुढाऱ्यांना मी शासन करीन; कारण सेनाधीश परमेश्वर आपल्या कळपाची, यहूदाच्या घराण्याची, काळजी वाहील, आणि त्याच्या लढाईच्या घोड्यासारखे त्यांना बनवेल.”
“My anger burned against the shepherds, And I lay a charge against the male goats, For YHWH of Hosts has inspected His flock, the house of Judah, And set them as His splendid horse in battle.
4 ४ “त्यांच्यातूनच कोनशिला उत्पन्न होईल; त्यांच्यापासूनच खुंट्या तयार होतील; त्यांच्यातूनच युध्दात वापरावयाची धनुष्यही येईल; त्यांच्यातूनच प्रत्येक पुढारी निघेल.
From him [is] a cornerstone, From him a nail, from him a battle-bow, From him goes forth every exactor together.
5 ५ ते आपल्या शत्रूचा पराभव, जणू काही रस्त्यातून चिखल तुडवीत जावे, तसा तुडवीत करतील; परमेश्वर त्यांच्याबाजूला असल्याने ते लढाई करतील आणि घोडेस्वारांना अपमानीत करतील.”
And they have been as heroes, Treading in mire of out-places in battle, And they have fought, for YHWH [is] with them, And have put to shame riders of horses.
6 ६ “मी यहूदाच्या घराण्याला बळकट करीन आणि योसेफाच्या घराचा बचाव करीन; कारण मी त्यांना पुनःस्थापित करीन आणि त्यांच्यावर दया करीन. आणि मी त्यांचा कधीच त्याग केला नव्हता, असेच त्यांच्याशी वागेन. मी परमेश्वर त्यांचा देव आहे व त्यांना प्रतिसाद देईल.
And I have made the house of Judah mighty, And I save the house of Joseph, And I have caused them to dwell, for I have loved them, And they have been as [if] I had not cast them off, For I [am] their God YHWH, And I answer them.
7 ७ एखाद्या योद्ध्याप्रमाणे एफ्राईम खूश होईल, त्यांचे हृदय द्राक्षरसाने हर्षित होते तसे हर्षित होईल; त्यांचे लोक हे पाहतील आणि ते आनंदीत होतील. परमेश्वराच्याठायी त्यांचे हृदय आनंदीत होईल.”
And Ephraim has been as a hero, And their heart has rejoiced as wine, And their sons see, and they have rejoiced, Their heart rejoices in YHWH.
8 ८ “मी त्यांना शीळ वाजवून एकत्र बोलवीन कारण मी त्यांना वाचवीन आणि त्यांची संख्या पूर्वी होती तशीच असंख्य होईल.
I hiss for them, and I gather them, For I have redeemed them, And they have multiplied as they multiplied.
9 ९ होय! मी माझ्या लोकांस राष्ट्रां-राष्ट्रांत पांगवीत आलो आहे, पण त्या दूरदूरच्या ठिकाणीही ते माझे स्मरण ठेवतील. ते आणि त्यांची मुलेबाळे जगतील, वाचतील आणि परत येतील.
And I sow them among peoples, And in far-off places they remember Me, And they have lived with their sons, And they have turned back.
10 १० मी त्यांना मिसरमधून परत आणीन व अश्शूरमधून मी त्यांना गोळा करीन. मी त्यांना गिलादाच्या व लबानोनाच्या नगरात आणीन. ते त्या जागेत मावणार नाहीत तोपर्यंत मी त्यांना आणीन.”
And I have brought them back from the land of Egypt, And I gather them from Asshur, And I bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon, And [space] is not found for them there.
11 ११ ते जाचजुलूमाच्या समुद्रातून जातील; ते गर्जनाऱ्या समुद्राला दबकावतील, ते नाईल नदीला सुकवतील व तिचे सर्व तळ उघडे पाडतील. तो अश्शूरचे गर्वहरण करील आणि मिसराच्या सत्तेचा राजदंड त्यांच्यापासून काढून घेतला जाईल.
And He has passed over through the sea, And has pressed and struck billows in the sea, And all depths of a flood have been dried up, And the excellence of Asshur has been brought down, And the rod of Egypt turns aside.
And I have made them mighty in YHWH, And in His Name they walk up and down,” A declaration of YHWH!
