स्तोत्रसंहिता 85

1 १ कोरहाच्या मुलांची स्तोत्रे हे परमेश्वरा, तू आपल्या देशावर अनुग्रह दाखवला आहेस; तू याकोबाला बंदिवासातून परत आणले आहेस.

Yahweh, you have been kind to [us people who live in] this land; you have enabled [us] Israeli people to become prosperous again.

2 २ तू आपल्या लोकांच्या पापांची क्षमा केली आहेस. तू त्यांची सर्व पापे झाकून टाकली आहेत.

You forgave [us], your people, for the sins that we had committed; you pardoned [us] for all our sins [DOU].

3 ३ तू आपला सर्व क्रोध काढून घेतला आहे; आणि आमच्यावरील भयंकर क्रोधापासून मागे फिरला आहेस.

You stopped being angry [with us] and turned away from severely punishing [us].

4 ४ हे आमच्या तारणाऱ्या देवा, आम्हास परत आण, आणि आमच्यावरचा तुझा असंतोष दूर कर.

Now, God, the one who saves/rescues us, (restore us/make us prosperous again) and stop being angry with us!

5 ५ सर्वकाळपर्यंत तू आमच्यावर रागावलेला राहशील का? पिढ्यानपिढ्या तू रागावलेला राहशील काय?

(Will you continue to be angry with us forever?/Please do not continue to be angry with us forever.) [DOU, RHQ]

6 ६ तुझ्या लोकांनी तुझ्याठायी आनंद करावा, म्हणून तू आम्हास परत जिवंत करणार नाहीस का?

Please enable us [RHQ] to prosper again in order that [we], your people, will rejoice about what you [have done for us].

7 ७ हे परमेश्वरा, तुझ्या दयेचा अनुभव आम्हास येऊ दे; तू कबूल केलेले तारण आम्हास दे.

Yahweh, by rescuing us [from our troubles/difficulties], show us that you faithfully love us.

8 ८ परमेश्वर देव काय म्हणेल ते मी ऐकून घेईन. कारण तो आपल्या लोकांशी व विश्वासू अनुयायींशी शांती करेल, तरी मात्र त्यांनी मूर्खाच्या मार्गाकडे पुन्हा वळू नये.

I want to listen to what Yahweh [our] God says, because he promises/says that he will enable [us], his people, to live peacefully, if we do not return to doing foolish things.

9 ९ खचित जे त्यास भितात त्यांच्याजवळ त्याचे तारण आहे; यासाठी आमच्या देशात वैभव रहावे.

He is surely ready to save/rescue those who revere him, in order that [his] glory/splendor will be seen in our land.

10 १० दया व सत्य एकत्र मिळाली आहेत; निती आणि शांती यांनी एकमेकांचे चुंबन घेतले आहे.

[When that happens], he will both faithfully love us and faithfully [do for us what he promised to do] [PRS]; and we will act/behave righteously, and he will give us peace, which will be like a kiss that he gives us.

11 ११ पृथ्वीतून सत्य बाहेर पडत आहे, आणि स्वर्गातून नितिमत्व खाली पाहत आहे.

Here on earth, we will (be loyal to/continually believe in) God, and from heaven, God will act justly/fairly [toward us].

12 १२ जे उत्तम ते परमेश्वर देईल, आणि आमची भूमी आपले पिक देईल.

Yes, Yahweh will do good things [for us], and there will be great harvests in our land.

13 १३ त्याच्यासमोर नितीमत्व चालेल, आणि त्याच्या पावलांसाठी मार्ग तयार करील.

[Yahweh always acts] righteously [PRS, MET]; he acts righteously wherever he goes.
