स्तोत्रसंहिता 8

1 १ मुख्य गायकासाठी; गित्तीथ सुरावर बसवलेले दाविदाचे स्तोत्र. हे परमेश्वर, आमच्या देवा, तू जो आपले वैभव आकाशांवर प्रकट करतोस, ते तुझे नाव सर्व पृथ्वीवर किती उत्कृष्ठ आहे.

To the choirmaster on the Gittith a psalm of David. O Yahweh lord our how! majestic [is] name your in all the earth [the one] who set! splendor your above the heavens.

2 २ तुझ्या शत्रूंमुळे, वैरी व सूड घेणाऱ्यांना तू शांत करावे म्हणून, बाळांच्या आणि तान्ह्या मुलांच्या मुखात तू उपकारस्तुती उत्पन्न केली.

From [the] mouth of children - and suckling-children you have established strength on account of opposers your to put an end to an enemy and an avenger.

3 ३ तुझ्या हातांच्या बोटांनी निर्माण केलेल्या आकाशाकडे, चंद्र आणि ताऱ्यांकडे मी जेव्हा बघतो.

If I will see heavens your [the] works fingers your [the] moon and [the] stars which you have established.

4 ४ तेव्हा मनुष्य काय आहे की तू त्याची आठवण करावी? किंवा मनुष्यसंतान काय आहे की तू त्यांच्याकडे आपले लक्ष लावावे?

What? [is] humankind that you will remember him and a son of humankind that you will pay attention to him.

5 ५ तरी तू त्यांना स्वर्गीय व्यक्तीपेक्षा थोडेसेच कमी केले आहेस. आणि गौरवाने व आदराने तू त्यास मुकुट घातला आहे.

And you have made lack him little from God and honor and majesty you crown him.

You make rule him over [the] works of hands your everything you have put under feet his.

Sheep and cattle all of them and also [the] animals of [the] field.

8 ८ आकाशातील पक्षी आणि सागरातील मासे जे काही सागराच्या मार्गातून फिरते ते सर्व.

[the] bird[s] of [the] heavens And [the] fish of the sea [that which] passes through [the] paths of [the] seas.

9 ९ हे परमेश्वरा, आमच्या देवा, सर्व पृथ्वीत तुझे नाव किती उत्कृष्ट आहे!

O Yahweh lord our how! majestic [is] name your in all the earth.
