स्तोत्रसंहिता 75

1 १ आसाफाचे स्तोत्र हे देवा, आम्ही तुला धन्यवाद देतो; आम्ही धन्यवाद देतो, कारण तू आपले सान्निध्य प्रगट करतो; लोक तुझी आश्चर्यकारक कृत्ये सांगतात.

Unto the end, corrupt not, a psalm of a canticle for Asaph. We will praise thee, O God: we will praise, and we will call upon thy name. We will relate thy wondrous works:

2 २ नेमलेल्या समयी मी योग्य न्याय करीन.

When I shall take a time, I will judge justices.

3 ३ जरी पृथ्वी आणि तिच्यावरील सर्व राहणारे सर्व भितीने कापत आहेत, मी पृथ्वीचे खांब स्थिर करीन.

The earth is melted, and all that dwell therein: I have established the pillars thereof.

4 ४ मी गर्विष्ठांना म्हणालो, गर्विष्ठ होऊ नका, आणि दुष्टांना म्हणालो, आपल्या विजयाविषयी धिटाई करू नका.

I said to the wicked: Do not act wickedly: and to the sinners: Lift not up the horn.

5 ५ विजयाविषयी इतकी खात्री बाळगू नका; आपले डोके उंच करून बोलू नका.

Lift not up your horn on high: speak not iniquity against God.

6 ६ विजय पूर्वेकडून नव्हे, पश्चिमेकडून किंवा रानातूनही येत नाही.

For neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the desert hills:

7 ७ पण देव न्यायाधीश आहे; तो एकाला खाली करतो आणि दुसऱ्याला उंच करतो.

For God is the judge. One he putteth down, and another he lifteth up:

8 ८ कारण परमेश्वराने आपल्या हातात फेसाळलेला पेला धरला आहे, त्यामध्ये मसाला मिसळला आहे आणि तो ओतून देतो. खात्रीने पृथ्वीवरील सर्व दुर्जन शेवटल्या थेंबापर्यंत पितील.

For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup of strong wine full of mixture. And he hath poured it out from this to that: but the dregs thereof are not emptied: all the sinners of the earth shall drink.

9 ९ पण तू काय केले हे मी नेहमी सांगत राहीन; मी याकोबाच्या देवाला स्तुती गाईन.

But I will declare for ever: I will sing to the God of Jacob.

10 १० तो म्हणतो, मी दुष्टांची सर्व शिंगे तोडून टाकीन, पण नितीमानाची शिंगे उंच करीन.

And I will break all the horns of sinners: but the horns of the just shall be exalted.
