< स्तोत्रसंहिता 7 >

1 १ कूश बन्यामिन याच्या बोलण्यावरुन परमेश्वरास गाईलेले दाविदाचे शिग्गायोन. हे परमेश्वरा, माझ्या देवा, मी तुझ्याठायी आश्रय घेतो! माझा पाठलाग करणाऱ्यांपासून मला वाचव आणि मला सोडव.
A Psalm of David, which he sang to the Lord because of the words of Chusi the Benjamite. O Lord my God, in you have I trusted: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me.
2 २ नाहीतर ते मला सिंहासारखे फाडून टाकतील. वाचवायला कोणी समर्थ नसणार, म्हणून ते माझे तुकडे तुकडे करतील.
Lest at any time [the enemy] seize my soul as a lion, while there is none to ransom, nor to save.
3 ३ परमेश्वरा माझ्या देवा, मी असे काही केले नाही जे शत्रू सांगतात, माझ्या हाती काही अन्याय नाही.
O Lord my God, if I have done this; (if there is unrighteousness in my hands; )
4 ४ माझ्याशी शांतीने राहणाऱ्याचे मी कधीही वाईट केले नाही. किंवा माझ्याविरोधात जे होते त्यांना इजा केली नाही.
if I have requited with evil those who requited me [with good]; may I then perish empty by means of my enemies.
5 ५ जर मी खरे सांगत नसेल तर, माझे शत्रू माझ्या जीवाच्या पाठीस लागो आणि त्यास गाठून घेवो. तो माझा जीव मातीत तुडवो आणि माझी प्रतिष्ठा धुळीस मिळवो.
Let the enemy persecute my soul, an take it; and let him trample my life on the ground, and lay my glory in the dust. (Pause)
6 ६ हे परमेश्वरा, आपल्या क्रोधाने उठ; माझ्या विरोध्यांच्या संतापामुळे उभा राहा, माझ्यासाठी जागा हो आणि तुझ्या न्यायाचा आदेश जो तू आज्ञापीले आहे तो पूर्णत्वास ने.
Arise, O Lord, in your wrath; be exalted in the utmost boundaries of mine enemies: awake, O Lord my God, according to the decree which you did command.
7 ७ राष्ट्रांची सभा तुझ्याभोवती येवो, आणि पुन्हा तू त्यांच्यावरती आपले योग्य ठिकाण घे.
And the congregation of the nations shall compass you: and for this cause do you return on high.
8 ८ परमेश्वर राष्ट्रांचा न्याय करतो, परमेश्वरा, मला समर्थन दे, आणि माझ्या न्यायीपणाप्रमाणे आणि माझ्या स्वतःच्या सात्त्विकतेप्रमाणे माझा न्याय कर.
The Lord shall judge the nations: judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to my innocence that is in me.
9 ९ दुष्टांच्या वाईट कृत्यांचा अंत होवो, परंतु धार्मिकाला स्थापित कर. कारण न्यायी देव हृदय व अंतर्यामे पारखणारा आहे.
Oh let the wickedness of sinners come to an end; and [then] you shall direct the righteous, O God that search the hearts and reins.
10 १० जो सरळ हृदयाच्यांना तारतो त्या देवापाशी माझी ढाल आहे.
My help is righteous, [coming] from God who saves the upright in heart.
11 ११ देव न्यायी न्यायाधीश आहे, असा देव जो प्रतिदिवशी न्यायाने रागावतो.
God is a righteous judge, and strong, and patient, not inflicting vengeance every day.
12 १२ जर मनुष्याने पश्चाताप केला नाही तर, देव त्याच्या तलवारीला धार लावणार आणि त्याचा धनुष्य युद्धासाठी तयार करणार.
If you will not repent, he will furbish his sword; he has bent his bow, and made it ready.
13 १३ त्याने आपली प्राणघातक शस्त्रे तयार केली आहेत. तो आपले अग्नीबान तयार करतो.
And on it he has fitted the instruments of death; he has completed his arrows for the raging ones.
14 १४ त्यांचा विचार कर जे दुष्टपणाने गरोदर झाले आहेत. जे विध्वंसक योजनांची गर्भधारणा करतात, जे अपायकारक लबाडीला जन्म घालतात.
Behold, he has travailed with unrighteousness, he has conceived trouble, and brought forth iniquity.
15 १५ त्याने खड्डा खोदला आणि तो खोल खोदला, आणि त्याने जो खड्डा केला त्यामध्ये तोच पडला.
He has opened a pit, and dug it up, and he shall fall into the ditch which he has made.
16 १६ त्याच्या अपायकारक योजना त्याच्याच डोक्यावर परत येतील, आणि त्याची हिंसा त्याच्याच माथ्यावर येईल.
His trouble shall return on his own head, and his unrighteousness shall come down on his own crown.
17 १७ मी परमेश्वरास त्याच्या न्यायीपणाप्रमाणे धन्यवाद देईन, मी परात्पर परमेश्वराच्या नावाची स्तुती गाईन.
I will give thanks to the Lord according to his righteousness; I will sing to the name of the Lord most high.
