< स्तोत्रसंहिता 59 >

1 १ दाविदाचे स्तोत्र हे देवा, मला माझ्या शत्रूंपासून सोडीव; जे माझ्याविरूद्ध उठतात त्यांच्यापासून मला दूर उंचावर ठेव.
TO THE OVERSEER. “DO NOT DESTROY.” A MIKTAM OF DAVID, IN SAUL’S SENDING, AND THEY WATCH THE HOUSE TO PUT HIM TO DEATH. Deliver me from my enemies, O my God, Set me on high from my withstanders.
2 २ दुष्कर्म करणाऱ्यांपासून मला सुरक्षित ठेव, आणि रक्तपाती मनुष्यापासून मला वाचव.
Deliver me from workers of iniquity, And save me from men of blood.
3 ३ कारण, पाहा, ते माझ्या जीवासाठी दबा धरून बसले आहेत. हे परमेश्वरा, माझा अपराध किंवा पातक नसता, सामर्थी लोक माझ्याविरूद्ध एकत्र गोळा झाले आहेत.
For behold, they laid wait for my soul, Strong ones are assembled against me, Not my transgression nor my sin, O YHWH.
4 ४ जरी मी निर्दोष असलो तरी ते माझ्याकडे धावण्याची तयारी करत आहेत; मला मदत करावी म्हणून जागा हो व पाहा.
Without punishment they run and prepare themselves, Stir up to meet me, and see.
5 ५ हे परमेश्वरा, सेनाधीश देवा, इस्राएलाच्या देवा, ऊठ आणि सर्व राष्ट्रांना शिक्षा कर; कोणत्याही दुष्ट पापी मनुष्यास दया दाखवू नकोस.
And You, YHWH, God of Hosts, God of Israel, Awake to inspect all the nations. Do not favor any treacherous dealers of iniquity. (Selah)
6 ६ संध्याकाळी ते परत येतात, कुत्र्यांसारखे गुरगुरतात आणि नगराभोवती फिरतात.
They return at evening, They make a noise like a dog, And go around the city.
7 ७ पाहा, ते आपल्या मुखावाटे ढेकर देतात; त्यांच्या तोंडचे शब्द तलवार आहेत. कारण ते म्हणतात, आमचे कोण ऐकतो?
Behold, they belch out with their mouths, Swords [are] in their lips, for “Who hears?”
8 ८ परंतु हे परमेश्वरा, तू त्यांना हसशील; तू सर्व राष्ट्रांना उपहासात धरशील.
And You, O YHWH, laugh at them, You mock at all the nations.
9 ९ हे माझ्या सामर्थ्या, मी तुझ्याकडे लक्ष देईन; कारण देवच माझा उंच बुरूज आहे.
O my Strength, to You I take heed, For God [is] my tower—the God of my kindness.
10 १० माझा देव मला त्याच्या कराराच्या विश्वसनीयतेने भेटेल; माझ्या शत्रूवर माझी इच्छा पूर्ण झालेली देव मला पाहू देईल.
God goes before me, He causes me to look on my enemies.
11 ११ त्यांना जिवे मारू नको नाहीतर माझे लोक विसरून जातील; हे प्रभू तू आमची ढाल आहेस, आपल्या बलाने त्यांची दाणादाण कर, त्यांस खाली पाड.
Do not slay them, lest my people forget, Shake them by Your strength, And bring them down, O Lord our shield.
12 १२ कारण त्यांच्या तोंडचे पाप आणि त्यांच्या ओठांचे शब्द, आणि त्यांनी अभिव्यक्त केलेले शाप आणि खोटेपणा यामुळे ते आपल्या अंहकारात पकडले जातात.
The sin of their mouth [is] a word of their lips, And they are captured in their pride, And they recount from the curse and lying.
13 १३ क्रोधात त्यांना नष्ट कर, ते यापुढे नाहीसे व्हावेत असे त्यांना नष्ट कर. देव याकोबात आणि पृथ्वीच्या शेवटापर्यंत राज्य करतो हे त्यांना माहित होवो.
Consume in fury, consume and they are not, And they know that God is ruling in Jacob, To the ends of the earth. (Selah)
14 १४ संध्याकाळी ते परत येतात; कुत्र्यांसारखे गुरगुरतात. आणि रात्री नगराभोवती फिरतात.
And they return at evening, They make a noise like a dog, And they go around the city.
15 १५ ते अन्नासाठी वर आणि खाली भटकतात, आणि जर त्यांची तृप्ति झाली नाही तर रात्रभर वाट पाहतात.
They wander for food, If they are not satisfied—then they murmur.
16 १६ परंतु मी तुझ्या सामर्थ्याविषयी गीत गाईन; कारण तू माझा उंच बुरूज आहे आणि माझ्या संकटाच्या समयी आश्रयस्थान आहेस.
And I sing of Your strength, And at morning I sing of Your kindness, For You have been a tower to me, And a refuge for me in a day of adversity.
17 १७ हे माझ्या सामर्थ्या, मी तुझी स्तवने गाईन; कारण देव माझा उंच बुरूज आहे, माझा देव ज्यावर मी विश्वास ठेऊ शकतो.
O my Strength, I sing praise to You, For God [is] my tower, the God of my kindness!
