स्तोत्रसंहिता 58
1 १ दाविदाचे स्तोत्र अहो अधिकाऱ्यांनो, तुम्ही खरोखर योग्य न्याय करता का? अहो मनुष्याच्या मुलांनो, तुम्ही सरळपणे न्याय करता का?
For the end. Destroy not: by David, for a memorial. If ye do indeed speak righteousness, [then] do ye judge rightly, ye sons of men.
For ye work iniquities in [your] hearts in the earth: your hands plot unrighteousness.
Sinners have gone astray from the womb: they go astray from the belly: they speak lies.
Their venom is like [that] of a serpent; as [that] of a deaf asp, and that stops her ears;
5 ५ गारुडी कितीही कुशलतेने मंत्र घालू लागला तरी त्याच्या वाणीकडे तो लक्ष देत नाही, त्यासारखे ते आहेत.
which will not hear the voice of charmers, nor [heed] the charm prepared skillfully by the wise.
God has crushed their teeth in their mouth: God has broken the cheek-teeth of the lions.
7 ७ जसे जोरात वाहणारे पाणी नाहीसे होते तसे ते नाहीसे होवोत; जेव्हा ते आपले तीर मारतील तेव्हा त्यांना टोक नसल्यासारखे ते होवोत.
They shall utterly pass away like water running through: he shall bend his bow till they shall fail.
8 ८ गोगलगायीप्रमाणे ते होवोत जशी ती विरघळते आणि नाहीशी होते, जर अवेळी जन्मलेल्या स्रीचा गर्भ त्यास कधी सूर्य प्रकाश दिसत नाही त्याप्रमाणे ते होवोत.
They shall be destroyed as melted wax: the fire has fallen and they have not seen the sun.
9 ९ तुमच्या भांड्यास काटेऱ्या जळणाची आंच लागण्यापूर्वीच, ते हिरवे असो वा सुकलेले, दुष्ट नाहीसे होतील.
Before your thorns feel the white thorn, he shall swallow you up as living, as in his wrath.
10 १० नीतिमान जेव्हा देवाने घेतलेला सूड पाहील तेव्हा तो आनंदित होईल; तो आपले पाय दुष्टांच्या रक्तात धुईल.
The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance of the ungodly: he shall wash his hands in the blood of the sinner.
11 ११ म्हणून मनुष्य म्हणेल, “खरोखर नीतिमान मनुष्यांना त्यांचे प्रतिफळ आहे; खरोखर पृथ्वीवर न्याय करणारा देव आहे. खरोखर आहे.”
And a man shall say, Verily then there is a reward for the righteous: verily there is a God that judges them in the earth.
