स्तोत्रसंहिता 54

1 १ दाविदाचे स्तोत्र हे देवा, तू आपल्या नावाने मला वाचव, आणि तुझ्या सामर्थ्यात माझा न्याय कर.

To the chief Musician on Neginoth, Maschil, [A Psalm] of David, when the Ziphims came and said to Saul, Doth not David hide himself with us? Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.

2 २ हे देवा, माझी प्रार्थना ऐक; माझ्या शब्दाकडे कान दे.

Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.

3 ३ कारण माझ्याविरूद्ध परके उठले आहेत, आणि दयाहीन माणसे माझ्या जीवाच्या मागे लागली आहेत; त्यांनी आपल्यापुढे देवाला ठेवले नाही.

For strangers have risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. (Selah)

4 ४ पाहा, देव माझा मदतनीस आहे; प्रभू माझ्या जिवाला उचलून धरणाऱ्या बरोबर आहे.

Behold, God [is] my helper: the LORD [is] with them that uphold my soul.

5 ५ तो माझ्या शत्रूंना वाईटाची परत फेड करील; तू माझ्यासाठी आपल्या विश्वासूपणाने त्यांचा नाश कर.

He will reward evil to my enemies; cut them off in thy truth.

6 ६ मी तुला स्वखुशीने अर्पणे अर्पीण; हे परमेश्वरा, मी तुझ्या नावाला धन्यवाद देईन, कारण हे चांगले आहे.

I will freely sacrifice to thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for [it is] good.

7 ७ कारण त्याने मला प्रत्येक संकटातून सोडवले आहे; माझे डोळे माझ्या शत्रूंकडे विजयाने पाहतात.

For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and my eye hath seen [its desire] upon my enemies.
