स्तोत्रसंहिता 29

1 १ दाविदाचे स्तोत्र. स्वर्गदूतहो, परमेश्वरास गौरव आणि सामर्थ्य आहे असे कबूल करा.

A Psalm of David. Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

2 २ परमेश्वरास त्याच्या वैभवी नावाचे श्रेय द्या; पावित्र्याने युक्त होऊन परमेश्वराची आराधना करा.

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

3 ३ परमेश्वराचा आवाज जलांवरून ऐकण्यात आला, गौरवशाली देव गर्जत आहे, परमेश्वर पुष्कळ जलांवर गर्जत आहे.

The voice of the LORD [is] upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD [is] upon many waters.

4 ४ परमेश्वराचा आवाज सामर्थशाली आहे, परमेश्वराचा आवाज चमत्कारीक आहे.

The voice of the LORD [is] powerful; the voice of the LORD [is] full of majesty.

5 ५ परमेश्वराची वाणी देवदार वृक्षाला तोडते, परमेश्वर लबानोनाच्या देवदार वृक्षाचे तुकडे करतो.

The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars of Lebanon.

6 ६ तो लबानोनला वासराप्रमाणे आणि सिर्योनला तरुण बैलाप्रमाणे बागडायला लावतो.

He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn.

7 ७ परमेश्वराची वाणी अग्नी ज्वालासह हल्ला करते.

The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.

8 ८ परमेश्वराची वाणी वाळवंटाला कंपित करते कादेशचे वाळवंट परमेश्वराच्या वाणीने हादरते.

The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

9 ९ परमेश्वराची वाणी हरणाला प्रसवयास लावते आणि अरण्य पर्णहीन करते. पण त्याच्या मंदिरात सर्व “महिमा!” गातात

The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of [his] glory.

10 १० महापुरावर परमेश्वर राजा बसला आहे, आणि परमेश्वरच सर्वकाळचा राजा म्हणून बसला आहे.

The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.

11 ११ परमेश्वर त्याच्या लोकांना सामर्थ्य देतो, परमेश्वर त्याच्या लोकांना शांतीने आशीर्वादित करतो.

The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
