स्तोत्रसंहिता 26

1 १ दाविदाचे स्तोत्र. हे परमेश्वरा, माझा न्याय कर. कारण मी प्रामाणिकपणाने चाललो आहे. मी परमेश्वरावर न डगमगता विश्वास ठेवला आहे.

David’s. Do me justice, O Yahweh, For, I, in my blamelessness, have walked, and, in Yahweh, have I trusted, I will not waver.

2 २ हे परमेश्वरा, मला पारख आणि माझे परिक्षण कर. माझ्ये हृदय आणि आतील मन निरखून पाहा.

Try me, O Yahweh, and prove me, Test my reins and my heart: —

3 ३ कारण तुझी प्रेमदया सदैव माझ्या डोळ्यांपुढे आहे, आणि मी तुझ्या सत्यात चाललो आहे.

For, thy lovingkindness, hath been before mine eyes, and I have walked to and fro in thy faithfulness;

4 ४ कपटी लोकांबरोबर मी सहयोगी झालो नाही, किंवा मी अप्रामाणिक लोकांत मिसळलो नाही.

I have not sat with men of deceit, nor, with dissemblers, would I enter;

5 ५ मी त्या दुष्टांच्या सभेचा तिरस्कार करतो. आणि मी दुष्टांसोबत राहत नाही.

I have hated the convocation of evil-doers, and, with lawless men, would I not sit;

6 ६ मी आपले हात निर्दोषतेने धुईन, आणि परमेश्वरा मी तुझ्या वेदीकडे वळीन.

I will bathe, in pureness, my hands, —so will I go in procession around thine altar, O Yahweh;

7 ७ अशासाठी की, मी तुझी स्तुती मोठ्याने करावी आणि तू केलेल्या आश्चर्याची कृत्ये सांगावी.

To sound aloud a song, and to recount all thy wonderful doings.

8 ८ परमेश्वरा, तुझे राहण्याचे घर आणि तुझे गौरव जिथे असते, ते घर मला आवडते.

O Yahweh, I have loved the asylum of thy house, even the place of the habitation of thy glory!

9 ९ पाप्यांसोबत किंवा रक्तपात करणाऱ्यांसोबत माझा प्राण काढून घेऊ नकोस.

Do not remove, with sinners, my soul, nor, with men of bloodshed, my life;

10 १० त्यांच्या हातात कट आहे, आणि त्यांचा उजवा हात लाच घेण्याने भरला आहे.

In whose hands is a plot, and, their right hand, is filled with a bribe.

11 ११ पण मी तर प्रामाणिकपणाने वागेन, माझ्यावर दया कर आणि मला तार.

But, I, in my blamelessness, will walk, Redeem me and show me favour.

12 १२ माझा पाय सपाट ठिकाणी उभा आहे, सभेमध्ये मी परमेश्वराची स्तुती करीन.

My foot standeth in a level place, In the convocations, will I bless Yahweh.
