स्तोत्रसंहिता 25

1 १ दाविदाचे स्तोत्र. हे परमेश्वरा, मी आपला जीव तुझ्याकडे उंचावतो.

A Psalm of David. Unto Thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.

2 २ माझ्या देवा, तुझ्यात माझा विश्वास आहे. मला निराश होऊ देऊ नको, माझे शत्रू माझ्यावर हर्ष न करोत.

O my God, in Thee have I trusted, let me not be ashamed; let not mine enemies triumph over me.

3 ३ तुझ्या विश्वासणाऱ्याची कधी निराशा होत नाही. परंतु जे कारण नसताना विश्वासघात करतात, ते लाजवले जातील.

Yea, none that wait for Thee shall be ashamed; they shall be ashamed that deal treacherously without cause.

4 ४ हे परमेश्वरा तुझे मार्ग मला कळव, मला तुझे मार्ग शिकव.

Show me Thy ways, O LORD; teach me Thy paths.

5 ५ तू आपल्या सत्यात मला मार्ग दाखव आणि मला शिकव. कारण तू माझा तारणारा देव आहेस मी रोज तुझी वाट पाहतो.

Guide me in Thy truth, and teach me; for Thou art the God of my salvation; for Thee do I wait all the day.

6 ६ हे परमेश्वरा, तुझ्या दयाळू कृत्यांची आणि प्रेमदयेची आठवण कर.

Remember, O LORD, Thy compassions and Thy mercies; for they have been from of old.

7 ७ हे परमेश्वरा, माझे तरुणपणाचे पाप आणि माझा बंडखोरपणा आठवू नको. तू आपल्या प्रेमदयेला अनुसरून आपल्या चांगुलपणामुळे माझी आठवण कर.

Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; according to Thy mercy remember Thou me, for Thy goodness' sake, O LORD.

8 ८ परमेश्वर चांगला आणि प्रामाणिक आहे. यास्तव तो पाप्यांस मार्ग शिकवतो.

Good and upright is the LORD; therefore doth He instruct sinners in the way.

9 ९ तो नम्र जणांस न्यायाने मार्गदर्शन करतो. आणि दीनांना आपला मार्ग शिकवीतो.

He guideth The humble in justice; and He teacheth the humble His way.

10 १० जे त्याचे करार आणि वचने पाळतात त्यांच्यासाठी परमेश्वराचे मार्ग प्रेमदया व विश्वासयोग्य आहेत.

All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep His covenant and His testimonies.

11 ११ परमेश्वरा, तुझ्या नामास्तव, माझ्या अपराधांची क्षमा कर, कारण ते खूप आहेत.

For Thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity, for it is great.

12 १२ परमेश्वराचे भय धरतो असा मनुष्य कोण आहे? प्रभू त्यास सूचना देईल, की त्याने कोणते मार्ग निवडावे.

What man is he that feareth the LORD? him will He instruct in the way that He should choose.

13 १३ त्याचे जीवन चांगुलपणात जाईल, आणि त्याची संतान भूमीचे वतन पावतील.

His soul shall abide in prosperity; and his seed shall inherit the land.

14 १४ परमेश्वराचे सत्य त्याचे अनुकरण करणाऱ्यांबरोबर असते. आणि तो त्याचे करार कळवतो.

The counsel of the LORD is with them that fear Him; and His covenant, to make them know it.

15 १५ मी नेहमी परमेश्वराकडे आपली दृष्टी लावतो. कारण तो माझे पाय जाळ्यातून मुक्त करतो.

Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for He will bring forth my feet out of the net.

16 १६ परमेश्वरा माझ्याकडे फिर आणि माझ्यावर दया कर. कारण मी एकटा आणि पीडलेला आहे.

Turn Thee unto me, and be gracious unto me; for I am solitary and afflicted.

17 १७ माझ्या हृदयाचा त्रास वाढला आहे, संकटातून मला तू काढ.

The troubles of my heart are enlarged; O bring Thou me out of my distresses.

18 १८ परमेश्वरा, माझे दु: ख आणि कष्ट बघ, माझ्या सर्व पापांची क्षमा कर.

See mine affliction and my travail; and forgive all my sins.

19 १९ माझ्या सर्व शत्रूंकडे पाहा, कारण ते पुष्कळ आहेत. ते माझा कठोरपणे तिरस्कार करतात.

Consider how many are mine enemies, and the cruel hatred wherewith they hate me.

20 २० देवा, माझे रक्षण कर आणि मला वाचव. माझा तुझ्यावर विश्वास आहे, तेव्हा माझी निराशा करू नकोस.

O keep my soul, and deliver me; let me not be ashamed, for I have taken refuge in Thee.

21 २१ तुझा प्रामाणिकपणा आणि सरळपणा माझे रक्षण करोत. कारण माझा तुझ्यावर विश्वास आहे.

Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, because I wait for Thee.

22 २२ देवा, इस्राएलाच्या लोकांस त्यांच्या सर्व त्रासांपासून सोडव.

Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.
