स्तोत्रसंहिता 20

1 १ मुख्य गायकासाठी, दाविदाचे स्तोत्र. परमेश्वर तुला संकटात साहाय्य करो, याकोबाच्या देवाचे नाव तुझे संरक्षण करो.

To him that excelleth. A Psalme of Dauid. The Lord heare thee in the day of trouble: the name of ye God of Iaakob defend thee:

2 २ देव त्याच्या पवित्र स्थानातून तुम्हास मदत पाठवो. तो तुम्हास सियोनातून साहाय्य करो.

Send thee helpe from the Sanctuarie, and strengthen thee out of Zion.

3 ३ तो तुझ्या सर्व अर्पणांची आठवण ठेवो, आणि तुझे होमार्पण यज्ञ मान्य करो.

Let him remember all thine offerings, and turne thy burnt offerings into asshes. (Selah)

4 ४ तो तुझ्या हृदयाच्या इच्छा मान्य करो, आणि तुझ्या सर्व योजना पूर्ण करो.

And graunt thee according to thine heart, and fulfill all thy purpose:

5 ५ तेव्हा आम्ही तुझ्या तारणात हर्ष करू. आणि आमच्या देवाच्या नावात झेंडे उभारू. परमेश्वर तुझ्या सर्व विनंत्या पूर्ण करो.

That we may reioyce in thy saluation, and set vp the banner in the Name of our God, when the Lord shall performe all thy petitions.

6 ६ परमेश्वर आपल्या अभिषिक्ताला तारतो, हे मी जाणले आहे. त्याच्या तारण करणाऱ्या उजव्या हाताच्या सामर्थ्याने, तो त्याच्या पवित्र स्वर्गातून त्यास उत्तर देईल.

Now know I that the Lord will helpe his anointed, and will heare him from his Sanctuarie, by the mightie helpe of his right hand.

7 ७ काही त्यांच्या रथांवर भरंवसा ठेवतात, तर काही घोड्यांवर, परंतु आम्ही आमच्या परमेश्वर देवाला हाक मारू.

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the Name of ye Lord our God.

8 ८ ते खाली आणले गेले आणि पडले, परंतु आम्ही उठू आणि ताठ उभे राहू!

They are brought downe and fallen, but we are risen, and stand vpright.

9 ९ हे परमेश्वरा तारण कर, आम्ही आरोळी करू त्या दिवशी राजा आम्हांला उत्तर देवो.
