स्तोत्रसंहिता 149

1 १ परमेश्वराची स्तुती करा. परमेश्वरास नवे गीत गा; विश्वासणाऱ्याच्या मंडळीत त्याचे गीत गा.

Praise ye the LORD! Sing unto the LORD a new song; His praise in the assembly of the godly!

2 २ इस्राएल आपल्या निर्माणकर्त्याच्या ठायी आनंदोत्सव करो. सियोनेचे लोक आपल्या राजाच्या ठायी आनंद करोत.

Let Israel rejoice in him that made him; Let the sons of Zion be joyful in their king!

3 ३ ते त्याच्या नावाची स्तुती नाचून करोत; ते त्याच्या स्तुतीचे गीत डफाने आणि वीणेने करो.

Let them praise his name in the dance; Let them praise him with the timbrel and harp!

4 ४ कारण परमेश्वर आपल्या लोकात आनंद घेत आहे; तो दीनांना तारणाने गौरवितो.

For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people; He will beautify the distressed with salvation.

5 ५ भक्त विजयाने हर्षभरित होवोत; ते आपल्या अंथरुणावरुन विजयासाठी गाणे गावो.

Let the godly-rejoice in their glory; Let them shout for joy upon their beds!

6 ६ देवाची स्तुती त्यांच्या मुखात असो, आणि दुधारी तलवार त्यांच्या हातात असो.

Let the praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand,

7 ७ यासाठी की त्यांनी राष्ट्रावर सूड उगवावा आणि लोकांस शिक्षा करावी.

To execute vengeance upon the nations, And punishment upon the peoples!

8 ८ ते त्यांच्या राजांना साखळंदडाने आणि त्यांच्या सरदारांना लोखंडी बेड्यांनी बांधतील.

To bind their kings with chains. And their nobles with fetters of iron;

9 ९ ते लिहून ठेवलेला जो न्याय आहे तो अंमलात आणतील. हा त्याच्या सर्व विश्वास ठेवणाऱ्यांसाठी आदर आहे. परमेश्वराची स्तुती करा.

To execute upon them the sentence which is written: This honor have all his godly ones. Praise ye the LORD!
