स्तोत्रसंहिता 142
1 १ दाविदाचे स्तोत्र मी आपल्या वाणीने परमेश्वरास आरोळी मारतो; मी आपल्या वाणीने परमेश्वराची प्रार्थना करतो.
Yahweh, I cry out to you; I plead [with you to help me].
I am bringing to you [all] my problems; I am telling you [all] my troubles/difficulties.
3 ३ जेव्हा माझ्याठायी माझा आत्मा व्याकुळ झाला, तेव्हा तू माझा मार्ग जाणला. ज्या मार्गात मी चाललो, त्यामध्ये त्यांनी माझ्यासाठी पाश मांडला आहे.
When I am very discouraged, you know what I should do. Wherever I walk, [it is as though] my enemies have hidden traps for me [to fall into].
4 ४ माझ्या उजवीकडे न्याहाळून पाहा, कारण तेथे माझ्याविषयी कोणी पर्वा करत नाही. मला कशाचाही आश्रय नाही; माझ्या जिवाची काळजी घेणारा कोणीच नाही.
I look around, but there is no one who pays attention to me, no one who will protect me, no one who cares about [what happens to] me.
5 ५ हे परमेश्वरा, मी तुला आरोळी मारतो; मी म्हणतो, तू माझा आश्रय आहेस, जिवंताच्या भूमित तू माझा वाटा आहेस.
[So] Yahweh, I cry out to you [to help me]; you are the one who protects me; and you are all that I need while I am alive.
6 ६ माझ्या आरोळीकडे लक्ष दे, कारण माझी फार दुर्दशा झाली आहे; माझा छळ करणाऱ्यांपासून मला सोडीव, कारण ते माझ्यापेक्षा बलवान आहेत.
Listen to me while I cry out to you [for help], because I am very distressed. Rescue/Save me from those who are pursuing me, because they are very strong, with the result that I cannot [escape from them].
7 ७ मी तुझ्या नावाची उपकारस्तुती करावी, म्हणून माझा जीव बंदीतून काढ. नितीमान माझ्याभोवती जमतील, कारण तू माझ्याशी चांगला आहेस.
Free/Rescue me from my troubles/difficulties [MET] in order that I may thank you. If you do that, when I am with godly/righteous [people], [I will praise you] for having been very good to me.
