स्तोत्रसंहिता 139

1 १ दाविदाचे स्तोत्र हे परमेश्वरा, तू माझी परीक्षा केली आहेस, आणि तू मला जाणतोस;

TO THE OVERSEER. A PSALM OF DAVID. YHWH, You have searched me, and know.

2 २ मी केव्हा बसतो आणि केव्हा उठतो ते तुला माहित आहे; तुला माझे विचार खूप दुरुनही समजतात.

You have known my sitting down, And my rising up, You have attended to my thoughts from afar.

3 ३ तू माझे चालने आणि माझे झोपणे बारकाईने पाहतो; तू माझ्या मार्गांशी परिचित आहेस.

You have fanned my path and my lying down, And have been acquainted [with] all my ways.

4 ४ हे परमेश्वरा, माझ्या मुखातून निघणारा एकही शब्द तुला पूर्णपणे माहित नाही असे मुळीच नाही.

For there is not a word in my tongue, Behold, O YHWH, You have known it all!

5 ५ तू मागून व पुढून मला घेरले आहेस, आणि माझ्यावर तू आपला हात ठेवला आहेस.

You have besieged me behind and before, And You place Your hand on me.

6 ६ हे ज्ञान माझ्या कल्पनेपलीकडचे आहे; ते खूप अगम्य आहे, ते मी समजू शकत नाही.

Knowledge too wonderful for me, It has been set on high, I am not able for it.

7 ७ मी तुझ्या आत्म्यापासून कोठे निसटून जाऊ शकतो? मी तुझ्या सान्निध्यापासून कोठे पळून जाऊ शकतो?

To where do I go from Your Spirit? And to where do I flee from Your face?

8 ८ मी जर वर आकाशात चढलो तर तिथे तू आहेस; जर मी खाली मृत्यूलोकात अंथरूण केले तरी, पाहा, तेथे तू आहेस. (Sheol h7585)

If I ascend the heavens—You [are] there, And spread out a bed in Sheol, behold, You! (Sheol h7585)

9 ९ जर मी पहाटेचे पंख धारण करून आणि समुद्राच्या अगदी पलीकडच्या तीरावर जाऊन राहिलो तरी तेथे तू आहेस.

I take the wings of morning, I dwell in the uttermost part of the sea,

10 १० तरी तिथे ही तुझा उजवा हात मला धरतो. आणि तू मला हाताने धरून नेतोस.

Also there Your hand leads me, And Your right hand holds me.

11 ११ जरी मी म्हणालो, खचित अंधार मला लपविल, आणि तरीही रात्र माझ्याभोवती प्रकाशच होईल.

And I say, “Surely darkness bruises me,” Then night [is] light to me.

12 १२ काळोख देखील तुझ्यापासून काहीच लपवित नाही. रात्रही दिवसासारखीच प्रकाशते, कारण तुला काळोख आणि प्रकाश दोन्ही सारखेच आहेत.

Also darkness does not hide from You, And night shines as day, As [is] darkness so [is] light.

13 १३ तू माझे अंतर्याम निर्माण केलेस; तूच माझ्या आईच्या गर्भात मला घडवले.

For You have possessed my reins, You cover me in my mother’s belly.

14 १४ मी तुला धन्यवाद देतो, कारण तुझी कृत्ये भयचकीत आणि आश्चर्यकारक आहेत, हे तर माझा जीव पूर्णपणे जाणतो.

I confess You, because I have been fearfully distinguished. Your works [are] wonderful, And my soul is knowing [it] well.

15 १५ मी गुप्तस्थळी निर्माण होत असता, आणि पृथ्वीच्या अधोभागी विलक्षण प्रकारे माझी घडण होत असता माझी आकृती तुला गुप्त नव्हती.

My substance was not hid from You, When I was made in secret, Curiously worked in the lower part of earth.

16 १६ तू मला गर्भात पिंडरूपाने असताना पाहिलेस; माझा एकही दिवस उगवण्यापूर्वी ते सर्व तुझ्या पुस्तकात नमूद करून ठेवले होते.

Your eyes saw my unformed substance, And all of them are written on Your scroll, The days they were formed—And not one among them.

17 १७ हे देवा, तुझे विचार मला किती मोलवान आहेत, त्यांची संख्या किती मोठी आहे.

And how precious Your thoughts have been to me, O God, how great has been their sum!

18 १८ मी जर ती मोजू लागलो तर ती वाळूच्या कणांपेक्षाही जास्त ठरतील. जेव्हा मी जागा होतो, तेव्हाही मी तुझ्याजवळच असतो.

I recount them! They are more than the sand, I have awoken, and I am still with You.

19 १९ हे देवा! जर तू दुष्टांना मारुन टाकशील; अहो हिंसाचारी मनुष्यांनो! माझ्यापासून दूर व्हा.

Do You slay, O God, the wicked? Then, men of blood, turn aside from me!

20 २० ते तुझ्याविरूद्ध बंड आणि कपटाने कृती करतात; तुझे वैरी तुझे नाव व्यर्थ घेतात.

Who exchange You for wickedness, Your enemies [are] lifted up to vanity.

21 २१ परमेश्वरा! तुझा द्वेष करणाऱ्यांचा मी का द्वेष करू नये? तुझ्याविरुध्द उठणाऱ्यांचा मी का तिरस्कार करू नये?

Do I not hate, YHWH, those hating You? And grieve myself with Your withstanders?

22 २२ मी त्यांच्या पराकाष्ठेचा पूर्ण द्वेष करतो; ते माझे शत्रू झाले आहेत.

I have hated them [with] perfect hatred, They have become enemies to me.

23 २३ हे देवा, माझे परीक्षण कर आणि माझे मन जाण; माझी परीक्षा घे आणि माझे विचार जाणून घे.

Search me, O God, and know my heart, Try me, and know my thoughts,

24 २४ माझ्या मनात जर काही दुष्ट मार्ग असतील तर पाहा, आणि मला सनातन मार्गाने चालीव.

And see if a grievous way be in me, And lead me in a perpetual way!
