स्तोत्रसंहिता 130

1 १ हे परमेश्वरा, मी तुला शोकसागरातून आरोळी मारीत आहे.

A Song of degrees. Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.

2 २ हे प्रभू, माझी वाणी ऐक; माझ्या विनवणीच्या वाणीकडे तुझे कान लक्षपूर्वक लागलेले असोत.

Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

3 ३ हे परमेश्वरा, तू जर अन्याय लक्षात ठेवशील तर, हे प्रभू, तुझ्यासमोर कोण उभा राहू शकेल?

If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

4 ४ पण त्यांनी तुझे भय धरावे, म्हणून तुझ्याजवळ क्षमा आहे.

But [there is] forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

5 ५ मी परमेश्वराची वाट पाहतो, माझा आत्मा वाट पाहतो, आणि त्याच्या वचनावर मी आशा ठेवतो.

I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

6 ६ पहाटेची वाट पाहणाऱ्या पहारेकऱ्यापेक्षा माझा जीव प्रभूची अधिक वाट पाहतो.

My soul [waiteth] for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: [I say, more than] they that watch for the morning.

7 ७ हे इस्राएला, परमेश्वरावर आशा ठेव. कारण परमेश्वर दयाळू आहे, आणि त्याच्याजवळ विपुल उद्धार आहे.

Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD [there is] mercy, and with him [is] plenteous redemption.

8 ८ तोच इस्राएलास त्यांच्या सर्व पापांपासून मुक्त करीन.

And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
