स्तोत्रसंहिता 126

1 १ सीयोनेतून धरून नेलेल्यांना परमेश्वराने माघारी आणले, तेव्हा आम्हास स्वप्नासारखे वाटले.

A Song of degrees. When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.

2 २ मग आमचे मुख हास्याने, आणि आमची जीभ गायनाने भरली. नंतर ते राष्ट्रांमध्ये म्हणू लागले; परमेश्वराने ह्यांच्यासाठी महान गोष्टी केल्या आहेत.

Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.

3 ३ परमेश्वराने आमच्यासाठी महान गोष्टी केल्या आहेत; आम्ही किती हर्षित झालो आहोत!

The LORD hath done great things for us; [of which] we are glad.

4 ४ परमेश्वरा, नेगेब येथील प्रवाहाप्रमाणे आम्हास बंदिवासातून परत आण.

Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.

5 ५ जे अश्रूपूर्ण नेत्रांनी पेरणी करतील ते हर्षाने आरोळी मारून कापणी करतील.

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

6 ६ जो पेरणीसाठी बी घेऊन रडत बाहेर पडतो, तो पुन्हा हर्षाने आरोळी मारून आपल्या पेंढ्या आपल्याबरोबर घेऊन येईल.

He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless return with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves [with him].
