स्तोत्रसंहिता 119

1 १ ज्यांचे मार्ग निर्दोष आहेत, जे परमेश्वराच्या नियमशास्त्राप्रमाणे चालतात ते आशीर्वादित आहेत.

[Aleph.] O the happiness of those perfect in the way, They are walking in the law of Jehovah,

2 २ जे त्याच्या आज्ञा प्रामाणिकपणे पाळतात, जे संपूर्ण मनाने त्याचा शोध घेतात ते आशीर्वादित आहेत.

O the happiness of those keeping His testimonies, With the whole heart they seek Him.

3 ३ ते चुकीचे करीत नाहीत; ते त्याच्या मार्गात चालतात.

Yea, they have not done iniquity, In His ways they have walked.

4 ४ तुझे विधी आम्ही काळजीपूर्वक पाळावे म्हणून तू आम्हास आज्ञा दिल्या आहेत.

Thou hast commanded us Thy precepts to keep diligently,

5 ५ मी नेहमी तुझे नियम पाळण्यासाठी माझी वागणूक व्यवस्थित असावी, हेच माझे मागणे आहे.

O that my ways were prepared to keep Thy statutes,

6 ६ मी जेव्हा तुझ्या सर्व आज्ञांचा विचार करीन तेव्हा मी कधीही लाजणार नाही.

Then I am not ashamed In my looking unto all Thy commands.

7 ७ मी जेव्हा तुझे न्याय्य निर्णय शिकेन, तेव्हा मी मनःपूर्वक तुला धन्यवाद देईन.

I confess Thee with uprightness of heart, In my learning the judgments of Thy righteousness.

8 ८ मी तुझे नियम पाळीन; मला एकट्याला सोडू नकोस.

Thy statutes I keep, leave me not utterly!

9 ९ तरुण मनुष्य आपला मार्ग कशाने शुध्द राखील? तुझ्या वचनाचे पालन करण्याने.

[Beth.] With what doth a young man purify his path? To observe — according to Thy word.

10 १० मी आपल्या मनापासून तुझा शोध केला आहे; तुझ्या आज्ञांपासून मला बहकू देऊ नकोस.

With all my heart I have sought Thee, Let me not err from Thy commands.

11 ११ मी तुझ्याविरुध्द पाप करू नये म्हणून तुझे वचन आपल्या हृदयात साठवून ठेवले आहे.

In my heart I have hid Thy saying, That I sin not before Thee.

12 १२ हे परमेश्वरा, तू धन्य आहेस; मला तुझे नियम शिकव.

Blessed [art] Thou, O Jehovah, teach me Thy statutes.

13 १३ मी आपल्या मुखाने तुझ्या तोंडचे सर्व योग्य निर्णय जे तू प्रकट केले ते जाहीर करीन.

With my lips I have recounted All the judgments of Thy mouth.

14 १४ तुझ्या आज्ञेच्या कराराचा मार्ग हीच माझी सर्व धनसंपत्ती असे मानून मी त्यामध्ये अत्यानंद करतो.

In the way of Thy testimonies I have joyed, As over all wealth.

15 १५ मी तुझ्या नियमांचे मनन करीन, आणि तुझ्या मार्गाकडे लक्ष देईन.

In Thy precepts I meditate, And I behold attentively Thy paths.

16 १६ मी तुझ्या नियमांनी आनंदित होईन; मी तुझे वचन विसरणार नाही.

In Thy statutes I delight myself, I do not forget Thy word.

17 १७ आपल्या सेवकावर दया कर याकरिता की; मी जिवंत रहावे, आणि तुझे वचन पाळावे.

[Gimel.] Confer benefits on Thy servant, I live, and I keep Thy word.

18 १८ माझे डोळे उघड म्हणजे तुझ्या नियमशास्रातील अद्भुत गोष्टी माझ्या दृष्टीस पडतील.

Uncover mine eyes, and I behold wonders out of Thy law.

19 १९ मी या देशात परका आहे; तुझ्या आज्ञा माझ्यापासून लपवू नकोस.

A sojourner I [am] on earth, Hide not from me Thy commands.

20 २० तुझ्या योग्य निर्णयांची सतत उत्कंठा धरल्यामुळे माझा जीव चिरडून गेला आहे.

Broken hath my soul for desire Unto Thy judgments at all times.

21 २१ तू गर्विष्ठांना रागावतोस, तुझ्या आज्ञापासून भरकटतात ते शापित आहेत.

Thou hast rebuked the cursed proud, Who are erring from Thy commands.

22 २२ माझ्यापासून लाज आणि मानहानी दूर कर, कारण मी तुझ्या कराराची आज्ञा पाळली आहे.

Remove from me reproach and contempt, For Thy testimonies I have kept.

23 २३ अधिपतीही माझ्याविरूद्ध कट रचतात आणि निंदा करतात, तुझा सेवक तुझ्या नियमांचे मनन करतो.

Princes also sat — against me they spoke, Thy servant doth meditate in Thy statutes,

24 २४ तुझ्या कराराची आज्ञा मला आनंददायी आहे, आणि ते माझे सल्लागार आहेत.

Thy testimonies also [are] my delight, The men of my counsel!

25 २५ माझा जीव धुळीस चिकटून आहे; आपल्या वचनाप्रमाणे मला नवजीवन दे.

[Daleth.] Cleaved to the dust hath my soul, Quicken me according to Thy word.

26 २६ मी तुला आपले मार्ग सांगितले आणि तू मला उत्तर दिलेस; तू मला आपले नियम शिकव.

My ways I have recounted, And Thou answerest me, teach me Thy statutes,

27 २७ मला तुझ्या विधींचा मार्ग समजावून दे. यासाठी की, मी तुझ्या आश्चर्यकारक शिक्षणाचे मनन करावे.

The way of Thy precepts cause me to understand, And I meditate in Thy wonders.

28 २८ माझा जीव दुःखाने गळून जातो; आपल्या वचनाने मला उचलून धर.

My soul hath dropped from affliction, Establish me according to Thy word.

29 २९ असत्याचा मार्ग माझ्यापासून दूर कर; कृपाकरून तुझे नियमशास्त्र मला शिकीव.

The way of falsehood turn aside from me And with Thy law favour me.

30 ३० मी विश्वासाचा मार्ग निवडला आहे; मी तुझे योग्य निर्णय आपल्यासमोर ठेवले आहेत.

The way of faithfulness I have chosen, Thy judgments I have compared,

31 ३१ मी तुझ्या कराराच्या निर्बंधास चिकटून राहिलो आहे; हे परमेश्वरा, मला लज्जित होऊ देऊ नकोस.

I have adhered to Thy testimonies, O Jehovah, put me not to shame.

32 ३२ मी तुझ्या आज्ञांच्या मार्गात धावेन, कारण तू ते करण्यास माझे हृदय विस्तारित करतोस.

The way of Thy commands I run, For Thou dost enlarge my heart!

33 ३३ हे परमेश्वरा, तू आपल्या नियमाचा मार्ग मला शिकव म्हणजे मी तो शेवटपर्यंत धरून राहिन.

[He.] Show me, O Jehovah, the way of Thy statutes, And I keep it — [to] the end.

34 ३४ मला बुद्धी दे म्हणजे मी तुझे नियमशास्त्र पाळीन; मी आपल्या अगदी मनापासून ते पाळीन.

Cause me to understand, and I keep Thy law, And observe it with the whole heart.

35 ३५ तू आपल्या आज्ञांच्या मार्गाने मला चालीव, कारण त्यामध्ये चालण्यास मला आनंद आहे.

Cause me to tread in the path of Thy commands, For in it I have delighted.

36 ३६ माझे मन तुझ्या कराराच्या निर्बंधाकडे असू दे, आणि अन्याय्य लाभापासून दूर कर.

Incline my heart unto Thy testimonies, And not unto dishonest gain.

37 ३७ निरर्थक गोष्टी पाहण्यापासून माझे डोळे वळीव. मला तुझ्या मार्गात पुर्नजीवीत कर.

Remove mine eyes from seeing vanity, In Thy way quicken Thou me.

38 ३८ तुझा सन्मान करणाऱ्यांना दिलेले वचन, आपल्या सेवकासंबंधाने खरे कर.

Establish to Thy servant Thy saying, That [is] concerning Thy fear.

39 ३९ ज्या अपमानाची मला धास्ती वाटते ती दूर कर, कारण तुझे निर्णय उत्तम आहेत.

Remove my reproach that I have feared, For Thy judgments [are] good.

40 ४० पाहा, मला तुझ्या विधींची उत्कंठा लागली आहे. तू मला आपल्या न्यायत्वाने मला नवजीवन दे.

Lo, I have longed for Thy precepts, In Thy righteousness quicken Thou me,

41 ४१ हे परमेश्वरा, मला तुझे अचल प्रेम दे. तुझ्या वचनाप्रमाणे मला तुझे तारण प्राप्त होवो.

[Waw.] And meet me doth Thy kindness, O Jehovah, Thy salvation according to Thy saying.

42 ४२ जो माझी थट्टा करतो त्यास मला उत्तर देता येईल, कारण मी तुझ्या वचनावर विश्वास ठेवला आहे.

And I answer him who is reproaching me a word, For I have trusted in Thy word.

43 ४३ तू माझ्या मुखातून सत्य वचन काढून घेऊ नको, कारण मी तुझ्या योग्य निर्णयाची प्रतिक्षा करतो.

And Thou takest not utterly away From my mouth the word of truth, Because for Thy judgment I have hoped.

44 ४४ मी सदैव तुझे नियमशास्त्र, सदासर्वकाळ आणि कायम पाळीन.

And I keep Thy law continually, To the age and for ever.

45 ४५ मी सुरक्षितपणे चालेन, कारण मी तुझे निर्बंध शोधले आहेत.

And I walk habitually in a broad place, For Thy precepts I have sought.

46 ४६ मी तुझ्या विधीवत आज्ञेबद्दल राजांसमोर बोलेन, आणि मी लज्जित होणार नाही.

And I speak of Thy testimonies before kings, And I am not ashamed.

47 ४७ मी तुझ्या आज्ञेत आनंद करीन, ज्या मला अतिशय प्रिय आहेत.

And I delight myself in Thy commands, That I have loved,

48 ४८ ज्या तुझ्या आज्ञा मला प्रिय आहेत, त्याकडे मी आपले हात उंचावीन; मी तुझ्या नियमांचे मनन करीन.

And I lift up my hands unto Thy commands, That I have loved, And I do meditate on Thy statutes!

49 ४९ तू आपल्या सेवकाला दिलेल्या वचनाची आठवण ठेव. कारण तू मला आशा दिली आहेस.

[Zain.] Remember the word to Thy servant, On which Thou hast caused me to hope.

50 ५० माझ्या दुःखात माझे सांत्वन हे आहे की, तुझे वचन मला नवजीवन देते;

This [is] my comfort in mine affliction, That Thy saying hath quickened me.

51 ५१ गर्विष्ठांनी माझी टवाळी केली आहे, तरी मी तुझ्या नियमशास्रापासून भरकटलो नाही.

The proud have utterly scorned me, From Thy law I have not turned aside.

52 ५२ हे परमेश्वरा, प्राचीन काळच्या तुझ्या निर्णयाविषयी मी विचार करतो, आणि मी आपले समाधान करतो.

I remembered Thy judgments of old, O Jehovah, And I comfort myself.

53 ५३ दुष्ट तुझे नियमशास्त्र नाकारतात, म्हणून संताप माझा ताबा घेतो.

Horror hath seized me, Because of the wicked forsaking Thy law.

54 ५४ ज्या घरात मी तात्पुरता राहतो; तुझे नियम मला माझे गीत झाले आहेत.

Songs have been to me Thy statutes, In the house of my sojournings.

55 ५५ हे परमेश्वरा, रात्रीत मी तुझ्या नावाची आठवण करतो, आणि मी तुझे नियमशास्त्र पाळतो.

I have remembered in the night Thy name, O Jehovah, And I do keep Thy law.

56 ५६ हे मी आचरिले आहे, कारण मी तुझे विधी पाळले आहेत.

This hath been to me, That Thy precepts I have kept!

57 ५७ परमेश्वर माझा वाटा आहे; तुझे वचन पाळण्याचा मी निश्चय केला आहे.

[Cheth.] My portion [is] Jehovah; I have said — to keep Thy words,

58 ५८ मी आपल्या संपूर्ण हृदयाने तुझ्या अनुग्रहासाठी कळकळीची विनंती करतो; तुझ्या वचनाप्रमाणे माझ्यावर कृपा कर;

I appeased Thy face with the whole heart, Favour me according to Thy saying.

59 ५९ मी आपल्या मार्गाचे परीक्षण केले, आणि तुझ्या कराराकडे आपले पावली वळवीली.

I have reckoned my ways, And turn back my feet unto Thy testimonies.

60 ६० मी तुझ्या आज्ञा पाळण्याची घाई केली, आणि मी उशीर केला नाही.

I have made haste, And delayed not, to keep Thy commands.

61 ६१ दुष्टाच्या दोऱ्यांनी मला जाळ्यात पकडले आहे; तरी मी तुझे नियमशास्त्र विसरलो नाही.

Cords of the wicked have surrounded me, Thy law I have not forgotten.

62 ६२ मी मध्यरात्री तुझ्या न्याय्य निर्णयांबद्दल तुला धन्यवाद देण्यासाठी उठतो.

At midnight I rise to give thanks to Thee, For the judgments of Thy righteousness.

63 ६३ तुझे भय धरणाऱ्या सर्वांचा, तुझे विधी पाळणाऱ्यांचा, मी साथीदार आहे.

A companion I [am] to all who fear Thee, And to those keeping Thy precepts.

64 ६४ हे परमेश्वरा, तुझ्या कराराच्या विश्वसनीयतेने सर्व पृथ्वी भरली आहे. तू आपले नियम मला शिकव.

Of Thy kindness, O Jehovah, the earth is full, Thy statutes teach Thou me!

65 ६५ हे परमेश्वरा, तू आपल्या वचनाप्रमाणे, आपल्या सेवकाचे चांगले केले आहेस.

[Teth.] Good Thou didst with Thy servant, O Jehovah, According to Thy word.

66 ६६ योग्य निर्णय घेण्याविषयीचे ज्ञान आणि बुद्धी तू मला दे, कारण तुझ्या आज्ञांवर माझा विश्वास आहे.

The goodness of reason and knowledge teach me, For in Thy commands I have believed.

67 ६७ पीडित होण्यापूर्वी मी बहकलो होतो, परंतु आता मी तुझे वचन पाळीत आहे.

Before I am afflicted, I — I am erring, And now Thy saying I have kept.

68 ६८ तू चांगला आहेस आणि तू चांगले करतोस. मला तुझे नियम शिकव.

Good Thou [art], and doing good, Teach me Thy statutes.

69 ६९ गर्विष्ठांनी माझ्यावर लबाडीने चिखलफेक केली आहे, पण मी तुझे विधी अगदी मनापासून पाळीन.

Forged against me falsehood have the proud, I with the whole heart keep Thy precepts.

70 ७० त्यांचे हृदय कठीण झाले आहे, पण मला तुझ्या नियमशास्त्रात आनंद आहे.

Insensate as fat hath been their heart, I — in Thy law I have delighted.

71 ७१ मी पीडित झाल्यामुळे माझे चांगले झाले; त्यामुळे, मी तुझे नियमशास्त्र शिकलो.

Good for me that I have been afflicted, That I might learn Thy statutes.

72 ७२ सोने आणि रुपे ह्यांच्या हजारो तुकड्यापेक्षा, मला तुझ्या तोंडचे नियमशास्त्र अधिक मोलवान आहेत.

Better to me [is] the law of Thy mouth Than thousands of gold and silver!

73 ७३ तुझ्या हातांनी मला निर्माण केले आणि आकार दिला; मला बुद्धी दे म्हणजे मी तुझ्या आज्ञा शिकेन.

[Yod.] Thy hands made me and establish me, Cause me to understand, and I learn Thy commands.

74 ७४ तुझा सन्मान करणारे मला पाहून हर्ष करतील, कारण मला तुझ्या वचनात आशा सापडली आहे.

Those fearing Thee see me and rejoice, Because for Thy word I have hoped.

75 ७५ हे परमेश्वरा, तुझे निर्णय न्यायानुसार आहेत हे मला माहित आहेत, आणि तुझ्या सत्यतेने मला पीडिले आहे.

I have known, O Jehovah, That righteous [are] Thy judgments, And [in] faithfulness Thou hast afflicted me.

76 ७६ तू आपल्या सेवकाला दिलेल्या वचनानुसार, आपल्या कराराच्या विश्वसनीयतेने सांत्वन कर.

Let, I pray Thee, Thy kindness be to comfort me, According to Thy saying to Thy servant.

77 ७७ मला कळवळा दाखव यासाठी की, मी जिवंत राहीन, कारण तुझे नियमशास्त्र माझा आनंद आहे.

Meet me do Thy mercies, and I live, For Thy law [is] my delight.

78 ७८ गर्विष्ठ लज्जित होवोत, कारण त्यांनी माझी निंदानालस्ती केली आहे; पण मी तुझ्या विधींचे मनन करीन;

Ashamed are the proud, For [with] falsehood they dealt perversely with me. I meditate in Thy precepts.

79 ७९ तुझा सन्मान करणारे माझ्याकडे वळोत, म्हणजे त्यांना तुझे निर्बंध कळतील.

Those fearing Thee turn back to me, And those knowing Thy testimonies.

80 ८० मी लज्जित होऊ नये याकरिता माझे हृदय आदराने, तुझ्या निर्दोष नियमाकडे लागू दे.

My heart is perfect in Thy statutes, So that I am not ashamed.

81 ८१ मी तुझ्या विजयासाठी उत्कंठा धरतो; मी तुझ्या वचनावर आशा ठेवली आहे.

[Kaph.] Consumed for Thy salvation hath been my soul, For Thy word I have hoped.

82 ८२ माझे डोळे तुझे वचन पाहण्यास आसुसले आहेत; तू माझे सांत्वन कधी करशील?

Consumed have been mine eyes for Thy word, Saying, 'When doth it comfort me?'

83 ८३ कारण मी धुरात ठेविलेल्या बुधलीसारखा झालो आहे; तरी मी तुझे नियम विसरलो नाही.

For I have been as a bottle in smoke, Thy statutes I have not forgotten.

84 ८४ तुझ्या सेवकाचे किती वेळ वाट पाहावी लागणार आहे? जे माझा छळ करतात. त्यांचा न्याय तू कधी करशील?

How many [are] the days of Thy servant? When dost Thou execute Against my pursuers judgment?

85 ८५ गार्विष्ठांनी माझ्यासाठी खाचा खणून ठेविल्या आहेत, तुझे नियमशास्त्र झुगारले आहे.

The proud have digged for me pits, That [are] not according to Thy law.

86 ८६ तुझ्या सर्व आज्ञा विश्वसनीय आहेत; ते लोक माझा छळ अनुचितपणे करत आहेत; मला मदत कर.

All Thy commands [are] faithfulness, [With] falsehood they have pursued me, Help Thou me.

87 ८७ त्यांनी पृथ्वीवरून माझा जवळजवळ सर्वनाश केला; पण मी तुझे विधी नाकारले नाहीत.

Almost consumed me on earth have they, And I — I have not forsaken Thy precepts.

88 ८८ तुझ्या कराराच्या विश्वसनीयतेने वचन दिल्याप्रमाणे मला नवजीवन दे, याकरिता की, मी तुझ्या तोंडचे निर्बंध पाळीन.

According to Thy kindness quicken Thou me, And I keep the testimony of Thy mouth!

89 ८९ हे परमेश्वरा, तुझे वचन स्वर्गात सर्वकाळ स्थिर आहे; तुझे वचन स्वर्गात ठामपणे प्रस्थापित आहे.

[Lamed.] To the age, O Jehovah, Thy word is set up in the heavens.

90 ९० तुझी सत्यता सदासर्वदा सर्व पिढ्यानपिढ्यासाठी आहे; तू पृथ्वीची स्थापना केलीस आणि म्हणून ती टिकून राहते.

To all generations Thy faithfulness, Thou didst establish earth, and it standeth.

91 ९१ त्या सर्व गोष्टी आजपर्यंत, तुझ्या निर्णयात म्हटल्याप्रमाणे राहिली आहेत, कारण सर्व गोष्टी तुझी सेवा करतात.

According to Thine ordinances They have stood this day, for the whole [are] Thy servants.

92 ९२ जर तुझे नियमशास्त्र माझा आनंद नसता, तर माझ्या दुःखात माझा नाश झाला असता.

Unless Thy law [were] my delights, Then had I perished in mine affliction.

93 ९३ मी तुझे निर्बंध कधीच विसरणार नाही, कारण त्याद्वारे तू मला सजीव ठेवले आहे.

To the age I forget not Thy precepts, For by them Thou hast quickened me.

94 ९४ मी तुझाच आहे; माझा उध्दार कर. कारण मी तुझे निर्बंध शोधले आहेत.

I [am] Thine, save Thou me, For Thy precepts I have sought.

95 ९५ दुष्टांनी माझा नाश करायची तयारी केली आहे, पण मी तुझ्या कराराच्या निर्बंधाचा शोध घेईन.

Thy wicked waited for me to destroy me, Thy testimonies I understand.

96 ९६ प्रत्येकगोष्टीला त्याची मर्यादा असते हे मी पाहिले आहे, पण तुझ्या आज्ञा व्यापक, मर्यादे पलीकडे आहेत.

Of all perfection I have seen an end, Broad [is] Thy command — exceedingly!

97 ९७ अहाहा, तुझे नियमशास्त्र मला किती प्रिय आहेत! दिवसभर मी त्याच्यावर मनन करतो.

[Mem.] O how I have loved Thy law! All the day it [is] my (meditation)

98 ९८ तुझ्या आज्ञा मला माझ्या शत्रूंपेक्षा ज्ञानी करतात, कारण तुझे नियम नेहमी माझ्याजवळ आहेत.

Than mine enemies Thy command maketh me wiser, For it [is] before me to the age.

99 ९९ माझ्या सर्व शिक्षकांपेक्षा मला अधिक बुद्धी आहे. कारण मी तुझ्या कराराच्या निर्बंधाचे मनन करतो.

Above all my teachers I have acted wisely. For Thy testimonies [are] my (meditation)

100 १०० वयोवृध्दापेक्षा मला अधिक कळते; कारण मी तुझे विधी पाळतो.

Above elders I understand more, For Thy precepts I have kept.

101 १०१ तुझे वचन पाळावे म्हणून मी आपले पाऊल प्रत्येक वाईट मार्गापासून दूर ठेवतो. या करता, मी तुझे वचन पाळावे.

From every evil path I restrained my feet, So that I keep Thy word.

102 १०२ मी तुझ्या निर्णयापासून दुसऱ्याबाजूला वळलो नाही, कारण तू मला शिकविले आहे.

From Thy judgments I turned not aside, For Thou — Thou hast directed me.

103 १०३ तुझे वचन माझ्या चवीला कितीतरी गोड आहेत, होय माझ्या मुखाला मधापेक्षा गोड आहेत.

How sweet to my palate hath been Thy saying, Above honey to my mouth.

104 १०४ तुझ्या विधींच्याद्वारे मला बुद्धी प्राप्त होते; यास्तव मी प्रत्येक खोट्या मार्गाचा द्वेष करतो.

From Thy precepts I have understanding, Therefore I have hated every false path!

105 १०५ तुझे वचन माझ्या पावलाकरता दिवा आहे, आणि माझ्या मार्गासाठी प्रकाश आहे.

[Nun.] A lamp to my foot [is] Thy word, And a light to my path.

106 १०६ तुझे निर्णय पाळण्याची मी शपथ वाहिली आहे, व ती पक्की केली आहे.

I have sworn, and I confirm [it], To keep the judgments of Thy righteousness.

107 १०७ मी फार पीडित आहे; हे परमेश्वरा तुझ्या वचनात वचन दिल्याप्रमाणे मला जिवीत ठेव.

I have been afflicted very much, O Jehovah, quicken me, according to Thy word.

108 १०८ हे परमेश्वरा, माझ्या मुखातील वचने ही स्वसंतोषाची अर्पणे समजून स्वीकार कर, आणि मला तुझे निर्णय शिकव.

Free-will-offerings of my mouth, Accept, I pray Thee, O Jehovah, And Thy judgments teach Thou me.

109 १०९ माझे जीवन नेहमीच धोक्यात असते, तरी मी तुझे नियमशास्त्र विसरलो नाही.

My soul [is] in my hand continually, And Thy law I have not forgotten.

110 ११० दुष्टांनी माझ्यासाठी पाश रचला आहे, पण मी तुझ्या विधीपासून भरकटलो नाही.

The wicked have laid a snare for me, And from thy precepts I wandered not.

111 १११ तुझे निर्बंध माझे सर्वकाळचे वतन म्हणून मी स्वीकारले आहे, कारण त्याच्या योगे माझ्या मनाला आनंद होतो.

I have inherited Thy testimonies to the age, For the joy of my heart [are] they.

112 ११२ तुझे नियम सर्वकाळ शेवटपर्यंत पाळण्याकडे मी आपले मन लाविले आहे.

I have inclined my heart To do Thy statutes, to the age — [to] the end!

113 ११३ परमेश्वरा, जे लोक तुझ्याशी पूर्णपणे प्रामाणिक नाहीत त्या लोकांचा मी तिरस्कार करतो, पण मला तुझी शिकवण आवडते.

[Samech.] Doubting ones I have hated, And Thy law I have loved.

114 ११४ मला लपव आणि माझे रक्षण कर. परमेश्वरा, तू जे काही सांगतोस त्यावर माझा विश्वास आहे.

My hiding place and my shield [art] Thou, For Thy word I have hoped.

115 ११५ वाईट करणाऱ्यांनो माझ्यापासून दूर जा, यासाठी की, मी आपल्या देवाच्या आज्ञा पाळीन.

Turn aside from me, ye evil-doers, And I keep the commands of my God.

116 ११६ तू आपल्या वचनानुसार मला आधार दे म्हणजे मी जगेन, आणि माझ्या आशा लज्जित होऊ देऊ नकोस.

Sustain me according to Thy saying, And I live, and Thou puttest me not to shame Because of my hope.

117 ११७ मला आधार दे म्हणजे मी सुरक्षित राहीन; मी नेहमीच तुझ्या नियमांवर मनन करीन.

Support Thou me, and I am saved, And I look on Thy statutes continually.

118 ११८ तुझ्या नियमापासून बहकले आहेत त्यांना तू नाकारतोस, कारण हे लोक फसवणारे आणि अविश्वसनीय आहेत.

Thou hast trodden down All going astray from Thy statutes, For falsehood [is] their deceit.

119 ११९ पृथ्वीवरील सर्व दुष्टांना तू गाळाप्रमाणे दूर करतो; म्हणून मी तुझ्या विधीवत करारावर प्रेम करतो.

Dross! Thou hast caused to cease All the wicked of the earth; Therefore I have loved Thy testimonies.

120 १२० तुझ्या भितीने माझे शरीर थरथरते, आणि तुझ्या न्याय्य निर्णयाची भिती वाटते.

Trembled from Thy fear hath my flesh, And from Thy judgments I have been afraid!

121 १२१ मी जे योग्य आहे आणि चांगले आहे तेच करतो; माझा छळ करणाऱ्याकडे मला सोडून देऊ नको.

[Ain.] I have done judgment and righteousness, Leave me not to mine oppressors.

122 १२२ तू आपल्या सेवकाच्या कल्याणार्थ जामीन हो. गर्विष्ठांना मला जाचू देऊ नकोस.

Make sure Thy servant for good, Let not the proud oppress me.

123 १२३ तू सिद्ध केलेल्या तारणाची व तुझ्या न्याय्य वचनाची प्रतिक्षा करून माझे डोळे थकले आहेत.

Mine eyes have been consumed for Thy salvation. And for the saying of Thy righteousness.

124 १२४ तुझ्या सेवकाला कराराची विश्वसनियता दाखव आणि मला तुझे नियम शिकव.

Do with Thy servant according to Thy kindness. And Thy statutes teach Thou me.

125 १२५ मी तुझा सेवक आहे, मला तुझ्या कराराच्या निर्बंधाचे ज्ञान व्हावे म्हणून मला बुद्धी दे.

Thy servant [am] I — cause me to understand, And I know Thy testimonies.

126 १२६ ही वेळ परमेश्वराच्या कार्याची आहे, कारण लोकांनी तुझे नियमशास्त्र मोडले आहे.

Time for Jehovah to work! they have made void Thy law.

127 १२७ खरोखर मी तुझ्या आज्ञा सोन्यापेक्षा, बावनकशी सोन्यापेक्षा प्रिय मानतो.

Therefore I have loved Thy commands Above gold — even fine gold.

128 १२८ यास्तव मी काळजी पूर्वक तुझे सर्व विधी पाळतो, आणि प्रत्येक असत्य मार्गाचा द्वेष करतो.

Therefore all my appointments I have declared wholly right, Every path of falsehood I have hated!

129 १२९ तुझे कराराचे निर्बंध आश्चर्यकारक आहेत; म्हणूनच मी ते पाळतो.

[Pe.] Wonderful [are] Thy testimonies, Therefore hath my soul kept them.

130 १३० तुझ्या वचनाच्या उलगड्याने प्रकाश प्राप्त होतो; त्याने अशिक्षितास ज्ञान प्राप्त होते.

The opening of Thy words enlighteneth, Instructing the simple.

131 १३१ मी आपले तोंड उघडले आणि धापा टाकल्या, कारण मी तुझ्या आज्ञेची उत्कंठा धरली.

My mouth I have opened, yea, I pant, For, for Thy commands I have longed.

132 १३२ तू माझ्याकडे वळ आणि माझ्यावर दया कर, जशी तुझ्या नावावर प्रीती करणाऱ्यावर तू दया करतोस.

Look unto me, and favour me, As customary to those loving Thy name.

133 १३३ तुझ्या वचनाप्रमाणे मला मार्गदर्शन कर; माझ्यावर कोणत्याही पापाची सत्ता चालू देऊ नको.

My steps establish by Thy saying, And any iniquity doth not rule over me.

134 १३४ मनुष्याच्या जाचजुलमापासून मला मुक्त कर याकरिता की, मी तुझे विधी पाळीन.

Ransom me from the oppression of man, And I observe Thy precepts,

135 १३५ तू आपला मुखप्रकाश आपल्या सेवकावर पाड, आणि तुझे नियम मला शिकव.

Thy face cause to shine on Thy servant, And teach me Thy statutes.

136 १३६ माझ्या डोळ्यातून अश्रूंचे प्रवाह खाली वाहतात; कारण लोक तुझे नियमशास्त्र पाळत नाहीत.

Rivulets of waters have come down mine eyes, Because they have not kept Thy law!

137 १३७ हे परमेश्वरा, तू न्यायी आहेस, आणि तुझे निर्णय योग्य आहेत.

[Tzade.] Righteous [art] Thou, O Jehovah, And upright [are] Thy judgments.

138 १३८ तू आपले निर्बंध न्याय्य व पूर्ण विश्वसनीय असे लावून दिले आहेत.

Thou hast appointed Thy testimonies, Righteous and exceeding faithful,

139 १३९ रागाने माझा नाश केला आहे, कारण माझे शत्रू तुझे वचन विसरले आहेत.

Cut me off hath my zeal, For mine adversaries forgot Thy words.

140 १४० तुझ्या वचनाची खूपच पारख झाली आहे, आणि ते तुझ्या सेवकाला प्रिय आहे.

Tried [is] thy saying exceedingly, And Thy servant hath loved it.

141 १४१ मी उपेक्षणीय आणि तुच्छ मानलेला आहे, तरी मी तुझे विधी विसरत नाही.

Small I [am], and despised, Thy precepts I have not forgotten.

142 १४२ तुझे न्याय्यत्व हे सर्वकाळ योग्य आहे, आणि नियमशास्त्र सत्य आहे.

Thy righteousness [is] righteousness to the age, And Thy law [is] truth.

143 १४३ मला खूप संकट आणि क्लेशांनी घेरिले आहे, तरी तुझ्या आज्ञांत मला आनंद आहे.

Adversity and distress have found me, Thy commands [are] my delights.

The righteousness of Thy testimonies [is] to Cause me to understand, and I live!

145 १४५ मी संपूर्ण मनापासून तुला हाक मारतो, हे परमेश्वरा, मला उत्तर दे, मी तुझे नियम पाळीन.

[Koph.] I have called with the whole heart, Answer me, O Jehovah, Thy statutes I keep,

146 १४६ मी तुला हाक मारतो; तू मला तार आणि मी तुझे कराराचे नियम पाळीन.

I have called Thee, save Thou me, And I do keep Thy testimonies.

147 १४७ मी उजडण्यापूर्वी पहाटेस उठतो आणि मदतीसाठी आरोळी मारतो. तुझ्या वचनात माझी आशा आहे.

I have gone forward in the dawn, and I cry, For Thy word I have hoped.

148 १४८ तुझ्या वचनावर चिंतन करण्यासाठी रात्रीच्या प्रत्येक प्रहरापूर्वी माझे डोळे उघडे असतात.

Mine eyes have gone before the watches, To meditate in Thy saying.

149 १४९ तुझ्या कराराच्या विश्वसनीयतेने माझी वाणी ऐक; हे परमेश्वरा, तू आपल्या निर्णयानुसार मला जिवंत ठेव.

My voice hear, according to Thy kindness, Jehovah, according to Thy judgment quicken me.

150 १५० जे माझा छळ करतात ते माझ्याजवळ येत आहेत, पण ते तुझ्या नियमशास्रापासून फार दूर आहेत.

Near have been my wicked pursuers, From Thy law they have been far off.

151 १५१ हे परमेश्वरा, तू जवळ आहेस आणि तुझ्या सर्व आज्ञा सत्य आहेत.

Near [art] Thou, O Jehovah, And all Thy commands [are] truth.

152 १५२ तुझ्या कराराच्या निर्बंधावरून मला पूर्वीपासून माहित आहे की, ते तू सर्वकाळासाठी स्थापिले आहेत.

Of old I have known Thy testimonies, That to the age Thou hast founded them!

153 १५३ माझे दु: ख पाहा आणि मला मदत कर, कारण मी तुझे नियमशास्त्र विसरलो नाही.

[Resh.] See my affliction, and deliver Thou me, For Thy law I have not forgotten.

154 १५४ तू माझा वाद चालव आणि माझा उद्धार कर. तू आपल्या वचनाप्रमाणे मला नवजीवन दे.

Plead my plea, and redeem me, According to Thy saying quicken me.

155 १५५ दुष्टपासून तारण फार दूर आहे, कारण त्यांना तुझे नियम प्रिय नाहीत.

Far from the wicked [is] salvation, For Thy statutes they have not sought.

156 १५६ हे परमेश्वरा, तुझी करुणा थोर आहे, तू आपल्या निर्णयास अनुसरुन मला नवजीवन दे.

Thy mercies [are] many, O Jehovah, According to Thy judgments quicken me.

157 १५७ मला छळणारे माझे शत्रू पुष्कळ आहेत, तरी मी तुझ्या कराराच्या निर्बंधापासून मागे वळलो नाही.

Many [are] my pursuers, and adversaries, From Thy testimonies I have not turned aside.

158 १५८ विश्वासघातक्यांना पाहून मला वीट आला आहे. कारण ते तुझे वचन पाळीत नाहीत.

I have seen treacherous ones, And grieve myself, Because Thy saying they have not kept.

159 १५९ तुझ्या विधींना मी किती प्रिय मानितो ते पाहा; हे परमेश्वरा, तुझ्या वचनाप्रमाणे कराराच्या विश्वसनीयतेने मला जिवंत ठेव.

See, for thy precepts I have loved, Jehovah, According to Thy kindness quicken me.

160 १६० तुझ्या वचनाचे मर्म सत्य आहे; तुझ्या न्यायीपणाचा प्रत्येक निर्णय सर्वकाळ आहे.

The sum of Thy word [is] truth, And to the age [is] every judgment of Thy righteousness!

161 १६१ अधिपती विनाकारण माझ्या पाठीस लागले आहेत; तुझे वचन न पाळल्यामुळे माझे हृदय भितीने कापते.

[Shin.] Princes have pursued me without cause, And because of Thy words was my heart afraid.

162 १६२ ज्याला मोठी लूट सापडली त्याच्यासारखा मला तुझ्या वचनाविषयी आनंद होतो.

I do rejoice concerning Thy saying, As one finding abundant spoil.

163 १६३ मी असत्याचा द्वेष आणि तिरस्कार करतो, पण मला तुझे नियमशास्त्र प्रिय आहे.

Falsehood I have hated, yea I abominate [it], Thy law I have loved.

164 १६४ मी दिवसातून सात वेळा तुझ्या न्याय्य, निर्णयांसाठी तुझी स्तुती करतो.

Seven [times] in a day I have praised Thee, Because of the judgments of Thy righteousness.

165 १६५ तुझ्या नियमशास्त्रावर प्रेम करणाऱ्यास मोठी शांती असते, त्यास कसलेच अडखळण नसते.

Abundant peace have those loving Thy law, And they have no stumbling-block.

166 १६६ हे परमेश्वरा, मी तुझ्या उध्दाराची वाट पाहत आहे आणि तुझ्या आज्ञा मी पाळल्या आहेत.

I have waited for Thy salvation, O Jehovah, And Thy commands I have done.

167 १६७ मी तुझ्या विधीवत आज्ञांप्रमाणे वागलो, आणि मला ते अत्यंत प्रिय आहेत.

Kept hath my soul Thy testimonies, And I do love them exceedingly.

168 १६८ मी तुझे निर्बंध आणि तुझे विधीवत आज्ञा पाळल्या आहेत, कारण मी जी प्रत्येकगोष्ट केली ते सर्व तुला माहित आहे.

I have kept Thy precepts and Thy testimonies, For all my ways are before Thee!

169 १६९ हे परमेश्वरा, माझी मदतीसाठीची आरोळी ऐक. तू आपल्या वचनाप्रमाणे मला बुद्धी दे.

[Taw.] My loud cry cometh near before Thee, O Jehovah; According to Thy word cause me to understand.

170 १७० माझी विनंती तुझ्यासमोर येवो; तू वचन दिल्याप्रमाणे मला मदत कर.

My supplication cometh in before Thee, According to Thy saying deliver Thou me.

171 १७१ तू मला आपले नियम शिकवितोस म्हणून माझ्या मुखातून स्तुती बाहेर पडो.

My lips do utter praise, For Thou dost teach me Thy statutes.

172 १७२ माझी जीभ तुझ्या वचनाची स्तुती गावो; कारण तुझ्या सर्व आज्ञा न्याय्य आहेत.

My tongue doth sing of Thy saying, For all Thy commands [are] righteous.

173 १७३ तुझा हात माझे साहाय्य करण्यास सिद्ध असो, कारण तुझे निर्बंध मी निवडले आहेत.

Thy hand is for a help to me, For Thy commands I have chosen.

174 १७४ हे परमेश्वरा, मी तुझ्या तारणाची उत्कंठा धरली आहे आणि तुझ्या नियमशास्त्रत मला आनंद आहे.

I have longed for Thy salvation, O Jehovah, And Thy law [is] my delight.

175 १७५ माझा जीव वाचो म्हणजे तो तुझी स्तुती करील; तुझे निर्णय मला मदत करो.

My soul liveth, and it doth praise Thee, And Thy judgments do help me.

176 १७६ मी हरवलेल्या मेंढराप्रमाणे भरकटलो आहे; तू आपल्या सेवकाचा शोध कर, कारण मी तुझ्या आज्ञा विसरलो नाही.

I wandered as a lost sheep, seek Thy servant, For Thy precepts I have not forgotten!
