स्तोत्रसंहिता 118

1 १ परमेश्वरास धन्यवाद द्या, कारण तो चांगला आहे, कारण त्याची दया सर्वकाळ टिकणारी आहे.

O give thanks unto the LORD; for [he is] good: because his mercy [endureth] for ever.

2 २ इस्राएलाने आता म्हणावे, “त्याची दया सर्वकाळ टिकणारी आहे.”

Let Israel now say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.

3 ३ अहरोनाच्या घराण्याने म्हणावे, “त्याची दया सर्वकाळ टिकणारी आहे.”

Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.

4 ४ परमेश्वराची उपासना करणाऱ्यांनी म्हणावे, “त्याची दया सर्वकाळ टिकणारी आहे.”

Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.

5 ५ मी संकटात असता परमेश्वरास हाक मारली. परमेश्वराने मला उत्तर दिले आणि मला सोडवले.

I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, [and set me] in a large place.

6 ६ परमेश्वर माझ्याबरोबर आहे; मी घाबरणार नाही; मनुष्य माझे काय करू शकेल?

The LORD [is] on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

7 ७ माझे सहाय्य करणारा परमेश्वर माझ्या बाजूला आहे; माझा द्वेष करणाऱ्यावर विजय झालेला मी बघेन.

The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see [my desire] upon them that hate me.

8 ८ मनुष्यावर भरवसा ठेवण्यापेक्षा परमेश्वराच्या आश्रयास जाणे अधिक चांगले आहे.

[It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

9 ९ मनुष्यावर भरवसा ठेवण्यापेक्षा परमेश्वरास शरण जाणे हे अधिक चांगले आहे.

[It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

10 १० सर्व राष्ट्रांनी मला घेरले आहे; परमेश्वराच्या नावात मी त्यांचा संहार करीन.

All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.

11 ११ त्यांनी मला घेरले आहे; होय, त्यांनी मला घेरले आहे. परमेश्वराच्या नावात मी त्यांना नाहीसे करीन.

They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

12 १२ त्यांनी मला मधमाश्याप्रमाणे घेरले आहे; जशी काट्यांमध्ये जेवढ्या लवकर आग लागते तेवढ्याच लवकर ते नाहीसे होतील. परमेश्वराच्या नावात मी त्यांना नाहीसे करीन.

They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

13 १३ मी पडावे म्हणून त्यांनी माझ्यावर हल्ला केला, परंतु परमेश्वराने मला मदत केली.

Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.

14 १४ परमेश्वर माझे सामर्थ्य आणि आनंद आहे. आणि तो माझे तारण झाला आहे.

The LORD [is] my strength and song, and is become my salvation.

15 १५ उत्सवाचा आणि तारणाचा शब्द नितीमानाच्या तंबूत ऐकू येत आहे; परमेश्वराचा उजवा हात विजय मिळवतो.

The voice of rejoicing and salvation [is] in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

16 १६ परमेश्वराचा उजवा हात उंचावला आहे; परमेश्वराचा उजवा हात विजय मिळवतो.

The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

17 १७ मी मरणार नाही, पण जगेन आणि परमेश्वराची कृत्ये जाहीर करीन.

I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

18 १८ परमेश्वराने मला जबर शिक्षा केली; परंतु त्याने मला मृत्यूच्या हाती दिले नाही.

The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.

19 १९ माझ्यासाठी धार्मिकतेचे दरवाजे उघडा; मी त्यामध्ये प्रवेश करीन आणि मी परमेश्वरास धन्यवाद देईन.

Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, [and] I will praise the LORD:

20 २० हे परमेश्वराचे दार आहे; नितीमान त्यातून प्रवेश करतील.

This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.

21 २१ मी तुला धन्यवाद देईन, कारण तू मला उत्तर दिले आहे आणि तू माझे तारण झाला आहेस.

I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.

22 २२ इमारत बांधणाऱ्यांनी जो दगड नाकारला होता, तोच कोनाशिला झाला आहे.

The stone [which] the builders refused is become the head [stone] of the corner.

23 २३ परमेश्वराने हे केले आहे; आमच्या दृष्टीने ते अतिशय अद्भुत आहे.

This is the LORD’s doing; it [is] marvellous in our eyes.

24 २४ परमेश्वराने नेमलेला दिवस हाच आहे; ह्यात आपण आनंद व उल्लास करू.

This [is] the day [which] the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

25 २५ हे परमेश्वरा, आम्ही तुला विनंती करतो, आता आमचे तारण कर; हे परमेश्वरा आम्ही तुला विनंती करतो, आता आमचा उत्कर्ष कर.

Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.

26 २६ परमेश्वराच्या नावाने येणारा धन्यवादित असो; परमेश्वराच्या घरातून आम्ही तुला आशीर्वाद देतो.

Blessed [be] he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.

27 २७ परमेश्वर देव आहे. त्याने आपल्याला प्रकाश दिला आहे; यज्ञाचा पशू वेदीच्या शिंगास दोरीने बांधा.

God [is] the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, [even] unto the horns of the altar.

28 २८ तू माझा देव आहेस आणि मी तुला धन्यवाद देईन. तू माझा देव आहेस; मी तुला उंचावीन.

Thou [art] my God, and I will praise thee: [thou art] my God, I will exalt thee.

29 २९ अहो, तुम्ही परमेश्वरास धन्यवाद द्या; कारण तो चांगला आहे; कारण त्याची दया सर्वकाळ टिकणारी आहे.

O give thanks unto the LORD; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.
