स्तोत्रसंहिता 108

1 १ दाविदाचे स्तोत्र हे देवा, माझे मन स्थिर आहे; मी आदराने माझ्या मनापासून संगिताने गाणे गाईन.

A Song, a Psalm of David. My heart is fixed, O God: I will sing, yea, I will sing psalms, even [with] my glory.

2 २ हे सतार आणि वीणे, तुम्ही जागृत व्हा. मी पहाटेला जागे करीन.

Awake, lute and harp: I will wake the dawn.

3 ३ हे परमेश्वरा, मी तुला लोकांमध्ये धन्यवाद देईन; मी राष्ट्रांमध्ये तुझी स्तुतीगान गाईन.

I will give thee thanks among the peoples, O Jehovah; of thee will I sing psalms among the nations:

4 ४ कारण तुझा महान विश्वासाचा करार आकाशाहून उंच आहे; आणि तुझी सत्यता आकाशाला पोहचली आहे.

For thy loving-kindness is great above the heavens, and thy truth is unto the clouds.

5 ५ हे देवा, तू आकांशाच्यावर उंचावलेला आहे. आणि तुझी महिमा सर्व पृथ्वीवर होवो.

Be thou exalted above the heavens, O God, and thy glory above all the earth.

6 ६ म्हणून ज्यांना तू प्रेम करतो त्यांनी वाचावे, तुझ्या उजव्या हाताने आम्हास वाचव आणि मला उत्तर दे.

That thy beloved ones may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me.

7 ७ देव आपल्या पवित्रतेत म्हणाला, “मी उल्लासेन; मी शखेम विभागीन आणि सुक्कोथाचे खोरे मोजून देईन.

God hath spoken in his holiness: I will exult, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

8 ८ गिलाद माझा आहे आणि मनश्शे माझा आहे. एफ्राईमही माझे शिरस्त्राण आहे. यहूदा माझा राजदंड आहे.

Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine, and Ephraim is the strength of my head; Judah is my law-giver;

9 ९ मवाब माझे स्नानाचे पात्र आहे. अदोमावर मी आपले पादत्राण फेकीन. मी पलिष्टीया विषयी विजयाने आरोळी करीन.”

Moab is my wash-pot; upon Edom will I cast my sandal; over Philistia will I shout aloud.

10 १० तटबंदीच्या नगरात मला कोण घेऊन जाईल? मला अदोमात कोण नेईल?

Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me unto Edom?

11 ११ हे देवा, तू आम्हास नाकारले नाही का? तू आमच्या सैन्याबरोबर युद्धास गेला नाहीस.

[Wilt] not [thou], O God, who didst cast us off? and didst not go forth, O God, with our armies?

12 १२ आमच्या शत्रूविरूद्ध आम्हास मदत दे, कारण मनुष्याची मदत निष्फळ आहे.

Give us help from trouble; for vain is man's deliverance.

13 १३ देवाच्या मदतीने आम्ही विजयी होऊ; तो आपल्या शत्रूला पायाखाली तुडवील.

Through God we shall do valiantly; and he it is that will tread down our adversaries.
