स्तोत्रसंहिता 101

1 १ दाविदाचे स्तोत्र मी प्रेम आणि न्यायाचे गीत गाईन; हे परमेश्वरा, मी स्तुती गाईन;

A Psalm of David. I will sing of mercy and justice; unto Thee, O LORD, will I sing praises.

2 २ मी सुज्ञतेच्या मार्गाने चालेन. अहा, तू माझ्याकडे कधी येशील? मी माझ्या घरात सचोटीने चालेन.

I will give heed unto the way of integrity; Oh when wilt Thou come unto me? I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart.

3 ३ मी आपल्या डोळ्यासमोर अनुचित गोष्ट ठेवणार नाही; अनाचाराचा मी द्वेष करतो; तो मला बिलगणार नाही.

I will set no base thing before mine eyes; I hate the doing of things crooked; it shall not cleave unto me.

4 ४ हेकेखोर लोक मला सोडतील; मी वाईटाशी निष्ठावान राहणार नाही.

A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know no evil thing.

5 ५ आपल्या शेजाऱ्याची गुप्तपणे निंदानालस्ती करणाऱ्याचा मी नाश करीन. जो कोणी गर्विष्ठ चालीरीतीचा आणि उर्मट वागणूकीचा आहे त्याचे मी सहन करणार नाही.

Whoso slandereth his neighbour in secret, him will I destroy; whoso is haughty of eye and proud of heart, him will I not suffer.

6 ६ देशातले विश्वासू यांनी माझ्याजवळ बसावे म्हणून माझी नजर त्यांच्यावर राहील; जो सचोटीच्या मार्गाने चालतो तोच माझा सेवक होईल.

Mine eyes are upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he that walketh in a way of integrity, he shall minister unto me.

7 ७ कपट करणारे लोक माझ्या घरात राहणार नाहीत; लबाडाचे माझ्या डोळ्यापुढे स्वागत होणार नाही.

He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house; he that speaketh falsehood shall not be established before mine eyes.

8 ८ देशातल्या सर्व वाईटांचा मी रोज सकाळी नाश करत जाईन; वाईट करणाऱ्या सर्वांना मी परमेश्वराच्या नगरातून काढून टाकेन.

Morning by morning will I destroy all the wicked of the land; to cut off all the workers of iniquity from the city of the LORD.
